A story that keeps you knotted up until the end!!
As a person who is still getting into shifter romances, this was such a great story by this author.
Lyall is an alpha in search of his mate and comes across her at bar. He proceeds to form a plan on how to catch her by moving into her apartment when she needs a roommate. Nia is desperate to find roommate to cover the rent when her former roommate leaves in the middle of the night. With the help of Lyall’s mates, he’s able to weasel his way in all aspects of Nia’s life without her knowing at first. Once he is able to, the story just keeps you in a chokehold until the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I’ve read first ruts before but this was definitely a well written story. I loved how it was love at first sight for Lyall but he definitely had to convince Nia lol. The story was well paced and the spice was on point. This isn’t a dark romance and I loved it all the same. I will say if I can ask Lovebites a favor, we need books on his mates because they were added to the humor of the book and I’m curious on how they would ensnare their mates lol. 5 star read. Love it and want more of it. Can’t wait for the next book until then, this book will be on reread.

The obsession was contagious!
