Tasting Sin

Rate this book
Landing the director job at the Onyx Hotel and Casino was supposed to be the win of my career.

I didn’t plan on battling a smug, maddening pastry chef who thinks he’s untouchable.

Luca Santoro tests my patience, my rules... and way too many of my fantasies.

But I’m not here to fall for temptation.

I’m here to run this empire — even if it means going to war with him.

The kitchen is mine. The Ivory Flour is mine.

Sienna Moreau? Definitely not mine — not that it stops me from imagining it.

She’s a bossy, sharp-tongued disruption in heels, and every second we’re in the same room, I want to fight her... or pin her against the nearest wall.

She thinks she can outlast me?

Cute.

One scandal, one reckless mistake, and suddenly walking away isn’t an option anymore.

At the Onyx, sin isn’t a risk.

It’s a guarantee.

Sienna and Luca had a solid start—headstrong hotel manager vs. cocky pastry chef with great sparks between them!

But once the ex-boyfriend drama morphed into a full-on corporate conspiracy with Luca and his brothers turning into secret operative heroes, the romance lost focus. By the time Luca proposed, it felt more like attachment through shared chaos than real connection.

Overall, the first half had me interested, but the second half gradually lost me with each chapter :/

Omg, I have just finished this wonderful story of Sienna; who is the Hotel Director of The Onyx and Luca; who is the Executive Sous-chef of the hotel.
You will get to follow their journey of twists and turns, drama, and evil intent. You will meet Rosa; who helps Sienna in some many ways, Matteo and Gio; Luca's brothers.
You will witness the struggles, personality clashes, caring and evolving love.
I absolutely loved this story and all the emotions that it wrung out of me. I'd give it a 10 if I could.

A story that had more than romance. Sienna, the hotel director of Onyx, was facing clandestine and underhanded betrayal from board members and an ex-boyfriend that wanted to remove her from the director position. Luca, the hotel chef became her anchor and steadfastly supported her throughout the ongoing situation with help from his brothers, Gio & Matteo. Sienna refused to be complacent -- she showed tremendous strength and backbone fighting for both herself and all the employees of the hotel. Everything played out as it should and we get some foreshadowing of Gio's story.

I loved Sienna & Luca!! Luca is the perfect book boyfriend and works his way through the walls Sienna has built around herself. Sienna is such a strong FMC that has worked to the top despite the people that tried to bring her down. If you love a slow-ish burn, a protective MMC, spice and suspense- you will love this one!!

Omgoodness, Juliet has done it again! I'm obsessed with Sienna and Luca!!! Sienna's rise to Director of The Onyx is impressive, but she soon discovers that there are people who want to see her fail. Luckily, Luca, the amazing executive chef, and his brothers Matteo and Gio, team up to help Sienna take down the bad guys. Can't wait to read Gio's story!
