📖 Experiencing Scripture as a Disciple of Jesus: Reading the Bible like Dallas Willard by Dave Ripper releases today, and I couldn’t be more excited!

I was blessed to read an advance copy and was profoundly impacted by it. This book captures the heart of how Dallas Willard approached Scripture—not as a textbook, but as a living invitation into the with-God life.

It’s now available for everyone, and I highly recommend it. I picked up a few physical copies, grabbed the Kindle edition, and I’m currently soaking it in again through Audible.

Sometimes a book comes along that breathes new life into a daily ritual, that reignites a vital aspect of Christian growth and discipleship. This book opens new vistas and ways of seeing the Bible as it is: what God said about this “new life” that is available to all and how to read His Word so as to encounter Him.

I’ve read virtually no Williard, but this gave a great feel for him (I feel much appreciation & some hesitation). The audiobook experience was rough as narrator seemed cloyingly over-earnest.

Excellent - I feel like a needed a notepad and time to do the exercises but this was an audiobook in the car. So much to digest, definitely will be buying the book to own and keep.
