This book really helped me become more empathetic with abuse survivors. It showed me that the web connecting people is more tangled than you think, and you shouldn’t assume it’s easy to leave someone who you love just because they hurt you. I really enjoyed the message that you are in charge of your own destiny, but there is always a cost, it’s up to you to pay it. The writing was emotional and it’s my fav from the series.
