My brother's best friend kissed me two years ago and I can't let it go. Even though we risk an HR scandal and hurting the family, I think he's on the brink of giving in…
Jake is a giant with the strength to handle my curves and the sweetness to write love songs. He likes it when I push him, wondering if he'll pin me against the wall and break— again.
For years we resisted. He's too loyal to my brother and my parents, who treat him like a son. To make matters worse, I'm his boss, so we shouldn't pursue it.
Until too many hours alone planning his upcoming promotion and a family event make us forget all about rules. Soon we can't keep our hands off each other. When I hear the songs he wrote about me? I'm done for.
But frenzied kisses in empty offices and secret getaways won't take us far. If things go wrong, it could tear the family apart and ruin our reputation in the conglomerate we run.
Being in his arms is everything I dreamed of. With my heart at stake, it's finally time to bet on us and face the world… or the wreckage is all we'll leave behind.
Leonor wrote her first Meet Cute at eight years old and never really stopped. Her stories are cozy and fun: low conflict, slow burn books that will make you swoon... and will reward you with great spice. With a healthy dose of humor, these stories guarantee a happily ever after to her plus size and multicultural characters.
Leonor is a Latina living in Canada, working as a therapist during the day and fitting as much writing to her life as she can. She’s also a multicrafter, trying her hand at watercolor, jewelry, sewing, and anything else that strikes her fancy. She makes her own covers!
To many elements I don’t personally enjoy. I also felt like the characters kept creating unnecessary conflicts/obstacles and their actions and personalities felt contradictory. I never quite connected with them the way I usually do with Soliz’s characters. But if you like messy emotional conflicts, office place romance, gentle giants, friends to lovers, mutual pining and lots of push and pull you would enjoy this. For me there just wasn’t enough of an explanation for why the characters made the choices they made and why the conflicts outside of the legal ones mattered. I didn’t vibe with the characters’ thoughts and then their families confirmation that they were required to share their happiness with them.
If catastrophizing was a person, it's Jake. He literally assumed the worst at every turn of their relationship. Vi really had to say, you want to go through life without at least trying. I'll respect your wishes but... In the end they got it together but boy did they have to go through years of longing looks, suffer through the other person being in a relationship, or struggling with the what if.
One of the things that stuck out to me was Jake actively applying coping strategies he learned from therapy. Not being able to control his anger really worried him and I think that was very interesting to see. The starts and stops aka his hesitation was moved from not being good enough to I still have work to do, to there's room that I could hurt you. That progression really was present and a nod that therapy takes time and isn't a quick fix.
Like always the last few chapters really pulls everything full circle and including the family in on their relationship was so tender. I'm not sure why they hid it. Side note: Andrew I hope you step on a Lego.
I think this was a 3.25 because of the resolution. Initially, I rounded up, but I think the reader has to really be invested because there is quite a bit of push and pull.
Thank to Lenor Soliz for sending me an eArc.
CN: child neglect/abuse, anger issues, manipulative ex
I love these, but in the audio the narrators kept saying "undefined" nonsensically like 100 times. I assume it was some sort of editing que and it was supposed to be edited out. Wanted to pull my hair out. But I listen while I work and did not have time to switch to "eye reading"
When SZA sang about looking for a big boy on SNL, she must have been talking about Jake. Big man in the best way! He said, “I fill a door frame easy. I can easily make you feel small.” With that, Jake is now added to my book-boyfriend list. Did I mention he can sing and writes songs about Vi, the FMC?? 🫠 🥵
This book gave me all the feels. It's not often that I shed tears while reading, but this story had me reaching for the Kleenex. At times, I just wanted to give Jake a hug. He has been through a lot and is working through it all with a therapist, applying the techniques to his life. Overall, this book is a heartwarming and emotional journey that left a lasting impression on me. Five stars!
Honorable mention for Tio Raul and Tia Sonia! Their love and speeches had me wiping my eyes (again)!
Recommend (Yes/No/Maybe): YES!!! This is the third book in the series and I am going back to read books 1 and 2!
Troupes & Warnings: Plus size FMC & MMC Brother’s Best Friend Secret Relationship Workplace Romance Billionaire Heroine Found Family
Summary (no spoilers): Two years after my brother’s best friend Jake kissed me, I can't let it go. Despite the risks of an HR scandal and hurting our family, I sense he's on the verge of giving in. Jake, a gentle giant who writes love songs and enjoys when I push his limits, has always been too loyal to my brother and parents, who see him as a son. Complicating things further, I'm his boss, making our relationship seem impossible. However, as we spend more time together planning his promotion and attending family events, we can't resist each other any longer. Hearing the songs he wrote about me seals my fate. Though our secret encounters are thrilling, the potential fallout threatens to tear our family apart and damage our professional reputations. Being with Jake is everything I've ever wanted, and now I must decide whether to bet on us or risk losing everything.
Thank you Leonor for this advanced copy. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
That storyline where it is right person, wrong time perfectly describes the narrative Leonor has woven between Jake and Vi (Violeta). Jake is Vi’s brother’s best friend, and someone Vi grew up knowing and eventually loving. Jake reciprocated these feelings after some time, BUT again, timing can be such a bitch.
Vi is strong, wealthy, caring, and comes from a solid family, who we generously see in and out of the storyline. Her family comes from Chile, and we see many various cultural and linguistic immersions in the story. Also, she’s the billionaire. IM JUST SAYING. Jake is reserved, kind, passionate, and above all, listens and acts with intention. As someone who is married to a soft spoken red-heading man, I kept picturing my own partner while reading, which made this text all the more special.
This storyline is one driven by characterization. And for anyone who hates on character driven storylines, stop following my posts, because those are my all time favorite stories. Action is great; depth is better. (That almost feels like an innuendo… 💀).
This story will have you scream, giggle, and be downright frustrated (in a good way). And for anyone who loves a good storyline where BOTH the FMC and the MMC are curvy and larger and in charge, you’re going to love this story.
Would read again? Yes! Would recommend: Yes! Spice: 🌶️.5
💕 Special thank you to Leonor for including me on her ARC team!! I’m excited for Javier’s story next! 😍💕
Thank you to the author, Leonor Soliz for the eARC!
I love the way Leonor Soliz understands just how important representation is in books! She never disappoints with the amount of diversity in her characters.
This book had quite a few LOL moments for me (the audiobook scene?!? 🤣) and it definitely packed a punch with the spicy scenes! Sadly, I didn’t find myself connecting with the two characters as much as I thought I would though! I really wanted to root for them more, but I think I needed a little more detail and info about their friendship prior to the book to understand their beginnings!
I'm a sucker for friends to lovers and Leonor Soliz did not disappoint. The book is full of longing and repressed feelings and your heart becomes a mess for the characters. Vi is strong confident and successful, just how I love my FMC's. As for Jake his strong controlled facade is nice but when he breaks and let's go that's where his beauty really shines. Seeing Jake's struggles made the book for me. You really feel his torment and anxiety throughout the writting. Beautiful book A must read ❤️
I was so happy to go back into this realm with the characters and getting to see the glimpses of some of my babies. (Gabe & Lina from book 1)
I also do not say this a lot when it comes to my platform but this was a brother's best friend that worked for me and didn't give me the ick!
I really love Vi and Jake separating so seeing them get their happily ever after also just made me so happy. Vi is a fat Chilean woman in a position of power and I am loving seeing the women in power not abuse their positions of power and engage ethically. The last couple of reads I have had with this dynamic showed this and just- YES! More of this please!! I also love that Jake is also a fat man and Leonor writes very fat positive, body neutral rep. One aspect of the fat rep that made me so happy was seeing their movement together through working out. As someone who found movement work to be an aspect of my fat liberation journey later in life and finding that joy with reconnecting with my body, I just love seeing it in books and it is not often written into books with fat characters.
I appreciate the way in which Leonor will showcase characters with trauma history but not put the trauma on page. We know that Jake has gone through something in his life but we don't have to know all the details to know that he has been in therapy for years and working on coping and managing his trauma.
I also really loved seeing the humor and love of Vi's romance reading brought into the storyline. I just loved these moments and loved Jake for being the awesome man he is and helping Vi with her joy of reading.
Where to start…First, I love that both characters had open communication with each other and there was no third act break up. I love that Jake is a cinnamon roll and isn’t afraid to admit about the things he likes. Where can I find my own Jake?
This was a sweet story and of course I was rooting for Vi and Jake to find their hea but, the reasons for keeping their relationship under wraps seemed unnecessary and made them seem immature at times. I understand they have known each other since they were children but, we didn't really get a chance to see them interact together unless they were getting into each other's pants. His mental health and childhood trauma almost felt like afterthoughts to provide some angst to the story. Vi's family came off as truly wonderful loving people and I want to be invited to visit the lake house for a weekend with them!
Brother's best friend! Loved that Jake is a cinnamon roll. One of the things I absolutely love about Leonor's story is that her characters are so relatable and deal with issues that anyone reading them might also be dealing with. Plus the fact that she writes plus sized characters not just women but men as well is such a breath of fresh air.
Yours, Finally is book 3 in the Cozy Latine Billionaires series and features Jake and Violeta, who we’ve met in the previous books. While this could be read as a stand alone, I would suggest reading the first two. Not only are they great reads, but it will give you a little more backstory on these two.
If you like… - friends to lovers - Older brother’s best friend trope - Mutal pining - Stern brunch daddy vibes … then this is for you!
I have been waiting for Jake and Vi’s story and it did not disappoint. There is something about two people who have been friends and pining for each other for years that is just so romantic (and is basically the story of me and my husband 🥰). There was wonderful chemistry between these two and so many spicy and funny moments. The book also has a beautiful found family element to it (all the books in the series do) and my favorite part of all of Soliz’s books: men who are not afraid to show emotion, love for their families and deal with their issues in healthy ways (positive mental health rep!).
**Book Blog Review: *Yours, Finally* by Leonor Soliz**
**Rating: 5/5**
Leonor Soliz's *Yours, Finally* is a captivating and steamy romance that beautifully explores the delicate balance between love, loyalty, and family. This compelling story of forbidden love is packed with emotional intensity, making it an irresistible read for fans of contemporary romance.
The novel follows the tumultuous relationship between the protagonist and Jake, her brother's best friend. Two years ago, a single kiss ignited a spark that neither could extinguish, despite the myriad of reasons to stay apart. The protagonist’s role as Jake's boss and the close-knit family dynamics make their burgeoning relationship fraught with complications, setting the stage for a riveting and heartfelt tale.
Soliz expertly crafts characters that are rich and multi-dimensional. The protagonist is a strong, curvy woman who knows what she wants but is torn between her desires and her responsibilities. Jake is equally compelling—a giant of a man with the tenderness to write love songs and the strength to support her, both physically and emotionally. Their chemistry is palpable from the very first page, and their interactions are filled with a mix of passion, tension, and tenderness that keeps the reader hooked.
One of the novel’s standout elements is the deep emotional connection between the characters. The forbidden nature of their relationship only heightens the intensity of their feelings. Their stolen moments and secret getaways are beautifully depicted, balancing the thrill of their romance with the ever-present risk of discovery. The lyrics of the love songs Jake writes about the protagonist add a deeply personal and poetic touch to their story, making their connection feel even more profound.
The family and workplace dynamics add layers of complexity to the narrative. The protagonist's brother and parents, who treat Jake like a son, create an additional layer of tension and stakes. The potential for an HR scandal and the fear of causing a rift in the family add to the urgency and conflict, making the stakes feel incredibly high. Soliz deftly navigates these complications, ensuring that every twist and turn feels both believable and engaging.
The writing is crisp and evocative, drawing readers into the world of the characters and making their struggles and triumphs feel deeply personal. The pacing is spot-on, with a perfect blend of romantic tension and heartfelt moments. Soliz’s ability to capture the raw emotions of love, longing, and fear of loss is truly commendable.
*Yours, Finally* is not just a romance; it’s a story about taking risks and fighting for what you believe in, even when the odds are stacked against you. The protagonist’s journey towards embracing her love for Jake and standing up for their relationship is both inspiring and relatable. The resolution is satisfying and heartwarming, leaving readers with a sense of hope and fulfillment.
In conclusion, *Yours, Finally* by Leonor Soliz is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a deeply emotional and passionately written romance. With its well-drawn characters, steamy romance, and high-stakes drama, this novel is sure to leave a lasting impression. Highly recommended for fans of contemporary romance looking for a story that’s as heartfelt as it is thrilling.

This was my first read by this author and the third book in the series. I was able to read it as a standalone with no issues, so if you are like me and picked it up here, have no fear, you'll follow along just fine. This book was fun, heartwarming and totally swoony. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Vi(Vee) and Jake. They were angsty and then smoking hot! Vi is an absolute boss who works hard and plays by the rules. Her long time crush on her brother's best friend won't seem to die no matter how much she tries to move on and date other men. Jake is a man who has a traumatic past, his savings grace was his best friend Gabe and his family who opened their hearts and lives to him. Through decades of healing he also has been harboring feelings for his best friend's sister and one night he finally breaks and gives in to his feelings. Too bad she just became his boss and their relationship is forbidden in all sorts of ways. Fast forward 2 years and everything is about to change for our couple. They finally get a green light to pursue this long burning flame and man oh man the things they say and do to each other 🥵🥵. The scene in his office had me on the edge of my seat. I also loved all of the side characters and their interactions. The guys group chat was so full of men openly being affectionate with each other which added even more love to this story. The way they all love and support each other is such a joy and it's why found family is so important. While I loved so much about all the characters, my most favorite thing about Jake was his commitment to his therapy. There is something so hot about a man who takes the time to actually heal especially when he wants to be the best for his partner. I mean come on!!!
This book is for you if you like: * Brother's Best Friend * Secret Dating * Friends to Lovers * Plus size rep * Latine rep * Found Family
Thank you Leonor Soliz for having me on your ARC team for this book. I really enjoyed it and I look forward to the next book in the series!! Can't wait to find out what the deal is with Javier!
📖 Synopsis: Two years after a forbidden kiss, the tension between Violeta and Jake—her brother’s best friend and her employee—has reached its breaking point. Jake is loyal, sweet, and strong enough to handle Violeta’s fiery personality and undeniable curves, but their connection risks family dynamics, workplace rules, and their professional reputation. As late nights and shared responsibilities ignite their suppressed desires, the lines they swore never to cross blur into passionate territory. From stolen kisses to love songs Jake secretly writes for her, their romance is as tender as it is risky. With everything on the line, Violeta and Jake must decide if their love is worth defying expectations or if their bond will shatter under the weight of loyalty and consequence.
💭 A’s Thoughts: This story was an absolute delight! I loved that there was no unnecessary third-act breakup, and the characters handled their challenges with refreshing maturity. Jake is such a lovable, cuddly bear, and his journey of working through struggles and embracing therapy felt so real and relatable—you can’t help but root for him. Violeta, on the other hand, is a total firecracker with a take-charge attitude, but it’s her big heart that truly shines. She’s the kind of character you’d want as both a friend and someone to aspire to. Overall, this book was heartwarming, relatable, and left me smiling from start to finish!
🧡 What I Loved: The Karaoke Scenes!!! The Book Boyfriend challenge.
😬 What Didn't Work for Me: Just one. I really didn’t think they should have hid that they were seeing each other. But I do get it’s part of the storyline.
🎉 Overall Impression: I highly recommend this book to the romance lover who is a sucker for brother’s best friend that is a big softie cuddly bear and a feisty curvy fmc who can’t help but push the mmc.
I didn’t really like this book. The couple annoyed the crap out of me. Aside from Jake’s fear of messing up his relationship with Vi’s family, the other reasons for not being together made no sense. They made a big deal about her being in a higher position in the company as if that was such a big deal when she wasn’t his direct supervisor and they could’ve signed waivers considering how long they had know each other, plus if there concern is about power dynamics then it’d would’ve been a better argument that her family owns the company. Even in the same level, she still has more power than him. It annoyed me even more that they used that as a reason and her concerns with professionalism, but then she was sexing him up all over the office. It was inconsistent, but then again the characters were inconsistent. And like I felt in the previous book, I feel like we didn’t get a deep look into these characters. We only got to know them in the context of their relationships, but by the end of the book I still don’t know anything about them. We barely even got enough information about Jake’s background, which was hinted at all the time. Like where is his family now? Was the abuse reported? What about his mom? Any siblings? Nothing. All we know about him is that he works in that company and likes music. Same for Vi. I don’t know anything about her.
And while I will mostly blame the horrible narration for how stilted and awkward the dialogue sounded (all the narration was bad), I think it was also written that way. There was too much detail in the dialogue that was unnecessary or shouldn’t have been dialogue. It just wasn’t the natural way a conversation would go. I was cringing at some of the “banter” because it wasn’t good and because the narrators made it soooooo much worse.
There were some other narration issues. The female narrator kept saying “undefined” throughout the book and I’m guessing that was a mistake.
5 ⭐️'s/3 🌶's Yours, Finally is a fantastic look into Vi and Jake's struggle to be together. The challenges they face and have to overcome.
Vi (pronounced Vee) and Jake have circled each other since they were children. Jake is Vi's brother's best friend, he's treated like a son by Vi's parents, and he also works in the family business, plus she's LOVED him since high school. But she never said anything to him. It also appears like Jake feels the same but years have passed and now adulting, life, and a very successful family business (where they both work, uh oh) have gotten in the way. Can they overcome these challenges? Is it worth all the potential heartbreak? You know it is!
Leonor Soliz does an amazing job of writing strong, beautiful, plus size brown/latina characters. As a latina myself I appreciate and feel so seen by authors like Leonor. The way she writes stories that I can see myself in, especially when she includes the traditions and culture that are so identifiable as home to me, it's comforting and makes me feel seen. It also makes the story so much more enjoyable. The beautiful relationship between Vi & Gabe's parents is a cornerstone of the story. Seeing successful latino relationships like Vi's parents and also the relationship between Gabe & Lina, portrayed so positively makes me smile. The spice was spicing!! And showed up much sooner than I expected, lol. Leonor's previous books in this series were definite SLOW BURNS but this one was a much faster burn. And WHOA Jake, a book BF who can def get it 🤭🔥
If you love characters you can identify with, especially if you love strong latinas... this is def the book for you. Violeta is one of my faves. She's so unapologetically herself and real. Especially in her plus size body. She doesn't hide it. She celebrates it. Author's that normalize all body shapes and sizes hold a special place in my heart.
Yours, Finally by Leonor Soliz O.M.G. I felt undeniably in love with Vi and Jake, ugh i just want to hug them and tell them I love them. Once again Leonor did again, with another amazing couple full of love and with a journey to remember.
Vi and Jake are friends who secretly love each other, they are oblivious about each other's feelings until one night at a ball they share a passionate kiss full of love and desire. Unfortunately nothing can become of it, due to hierarchy at work unless they both are ready to lose everything they've worked for. This event takes them on a journey of two years where both Vi and Jake try to forget about each other, with other people. In Yours, Finally we see the journey Vi and Jake have to go through to get their happy ending, we see how strong and determined they are about each other.
Like a lot of people that had read Yours, Finally I can’t help but be a sucker for friends and lovers, especially where the couple has to overcome obstacles in their path to happiness. When it comes to this genre I love reading books by Leonor Soliz, her books always end in a happy ending, but the storyline is full of issues a lot of couples face in the day to day. Which gives the story a more realistic feeling, which helps the reader connect in a better, deeper way that is more relatable.
I loved everything about the journey Vi and Jake had to go through to finally become one. But one of my favorite scenes in the book was the audiobook incident in the car. I couldn't stop laughing, and I also felt so related to that. I feel like that happens to even the best of us.
Vi (pronounced Vee) and Jake are the ultimate slowburn.
Ahhh this is the love story I’ve been most excited for since Book 1 of Leonor Soliz’s Cozy Latine Billionaires series. After years of crushing on each other, Jake unexpectedly kissed his best friend’s sister. Instead of a happy beginning, Vi and Jake end up making things more complicated and awkward for themselves. Not only would dating lead to a possible HR scandal, but it may also cause a rift between Jake and Vi’s family, who have long ago accepted him as one of their own.
What an emotional rollercoaster it was following Vi and Jake test the waters and transition from platonic to romantic love. The glimpses of their longing and tension in previous books drew me in but their stolen kisses and clandestine meetings made my heart explode. Leonor has been stressing me out with the clear-to-opaque office windows since Book 1 and now I don’t know if I’ll ever recover from them with Jake and Vi. IYKYK.
I’ve always enjoyed Leonor’s writing and her ability to write vibrant characters with great care. Vi is such a badass FMC and Jake has strong cinnamon roll energy. Although the stakes were high, I loved how Vi and Jake still managed to openly and maturely communicate their feelings and concerns for the future. I also appreciated how Leonor portrayed Jake’s internal struggles, family trauma, and insecurities with great sensitivity. It was refreshing to see Jake regulate his emotions through different coping mechanisms and his determination to get better.
Overall, this was a sweet and heartwarming story and now I can’t wait for Javier’s story next!
This was a really cute and short steamy story… but it just wasn’t enough for me. I felt like each moment we got with the characters when they were finally together were just spicy scenes and I would have liked to know more about their relationship on a deeper level. And I thought that each “fight” they got into was a little unnecessary and didn’t make sense. I felt that each angsty scene wasn’t angsty enough and that the tension between the characters fell flat.
There were some moments in the book that I really liked. I loved how they incorporated audiobooks into their romantic lives (I love a spicy book within a spicy book.) I also liked how with both of the characters being heavier, they didn’t make it the end of the world or an indifference like how I see In most other books with this theme. I loved how Vi was able to sing karaoke first before Jake and didn’t have a care in the world if she was bad or not to make it easier for him to sing on stage in front of people.
One of my favorite quotes was by Jake, and I thought it was cute and sweet, “I'm sure it's what a book boyfriend would do. So let me be a book boyfriend for you. ” I wish I had someone who would say that to me. Overall it was a pretty good book, I give it a 3.5/5.
Thank you so much Leonor Soliz for giving me this ARC to review.

Can an over a decade long crush on my brother’s best friend be so real and lead to love? Does he feel it too? Can and will we risk everything to find out?
Vi and Jake’s story 😮😭🤣🫣🤣🤫🥹🥰😍🤯🗂️💪🎶📚
LOVED it! 😍😍😍 I can’t believe I’ve been missing out should a great book and it’s the 3rd in the latine billionaires series?!?! I need to read those ASAP story was so great, from characters to writing style and everything in between. It was also really great reading a romance book where the woman l, in this case Vi, being the one that’s chingona… an independent, wealthy, smart, business women who knows what she wants and is comfortable with herself and her body and not agreed to show it. It was also a change reading that the main guy was different also, he had to fight and worked hard to get where he was and ask for help along the way and not be embarrassed or ashamed of asking for it too. Loved all the tropes in this book and this was also my first read about the brother’s best friend trope and I really liked it. All the emotions and scenarios were on point and were so genuine and real.it was so great that’s she a bookish girl too and loved all the references to books both physical and audio 📚🎧📖
I enjoyed the characters Violeta (Vi) & Jake. They were genuinely good people and I was rooting for them. I thought a lot of their interactions were adorable. For instance the car scene with the audiobook had me laughing so hard. I liked how Jake handled it and thought it made him very gentlemanly. I would have totally acted like Vi did 😂. These two were really sweet and had a lot of cute moments.
However, I did feel these two created unnecessary drama/conflict. The story is very low stakes but the characters make it seem like it’ll be the end of the world if their friends and family discover they’re dating. Which would be interesting if there was anything indicative that they wouldn’t approve of Jake. They liked him so what’s the drama for? It just seemed silly and bogged down the story. I think the HR/office place element would’ve had higher stakes.
With that said, this book has great steam! The intimacy is builds upon years of mutual pining which makes their sexual tension unbearable. I also liked the progression of their sexual relationship. It created good tension between them so when they finally break its dynamite!
Arc review First I want to say thank you so much for letting read it and letting me be part of the arc team. Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spicy: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Oof okay Jake and Vi omg finally they are together and forever. This book tropes has Bother best friends Found family He writes song and music for her Plus size MMC and MFC Secret relationship Billionaire FMC Workplace romance TW: there is mention of child abuse and neglect and some anger issues as well and panic attacks Jake and Vi (Violetta) are the best they loved each other in secret and when they finally are able to be together you can see both of them grow especially Jake who suffered through something especially managing his anger issues what it is beautiful that Jake get and has the help with his therapist and his found family. Yours, Finally by Leonor Soliz - (ARC) Book Review
Overall -4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice -3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tropes: * Brother’s best friend * Secret relationship * Billionaire Heroine * Plus size FMC and MMC * Found family * Office romance * Slow burn
Leonor, girl!! The book was so addictive, I just didn’t want this book to end! It was so good I couldn’t put it down. The characters touched my heart especially Jake (MMC). He is so sweet, kind, thoughtful and generous, a big Man bear who gives the best hugs! He had my heart the whole book❤️ It pained me to see the main characters struggle with their feelings but in the end it was so worth it!! Also the family dynamics shown in the book are so beautiful🥰
The book is basically about Vi (FMC) and Jake (MMC), who is her brother’s best friend, who have feelings for each other but have kept them hidden until the kiss that happened two years ago but they can’t pursue the relationship due to her being his boss and his fear of her family’s reaction as they consider Jake their second son. They finally gather courage when Jake gets promoted to explore their connection and start a secret relationship.
Overall the book is a must read if you are into sweet and cute romance with a little spice🌶️. The gym and office scenes oofff🥵.
