Epicenters have activated all over the planet, and the Rifts are behaving unpredictably. It might seem time for humanity to unite before this shared threat, but there are too many people who care about nothing but their own interests!
That’s fine for the noble Families, but far from fine for a Hunter who has always cared first and foremost for the good of humanity.
Well, nothing for it – time for this world and its humanity to change. What do you mean “We don’t want to”!? Like anyone asked you...
What is that problem you ask?? The fact it takes so long for the next book!!! An MC that is serious but doesn't take himself seriously. A ladies man who is clueless at the same time. Extraordinary conflicts and situations that don't seem so impossible for him to have actually gotten out of them. It worth the read!!
I received a review copy of this book. The Hunter's Code is the fifth book in this series, and in this one we see signs of life from the main character, he's finally stepping up and doing what he's wanted to do all along. Taking back his family lands, and putting the beat down on those who have wronged his family. Lots of fun action in this one, as well as his typical tricks of just outwitting everyone else. Quite the fun read. If you've read the previous books, and kept wondering when something was going to happen, you can relax, it's started now, and I suspect the next book or two will be a whirlwind of revenge and plans coming to fruition. Great stuff in store no doubt.
This is a series that I get an ARC of. I check the translation from Russian to English. This is one of the stories that once I finish, I'm looking forward to getting the next ARC in the series. It's just a fun read for me.
8/10 The reviews of the rest of this series will show the same review. I'm trying to help out authors by putting up reviews for the ARCs that have been sent to me.
More unnecessary and just baffling contradictive errors. Its as if the author is just spewing out nonsense making the sentences, paragraphs and chapters of the moment make sense but not taking into account, or caring about, prior established world/story-building.. Forgetting basic established facts.
So much happened. Alex is coming to his own. Finally realizing he has friends. Setting up his household with a lot of attention to the basement. The dialogue in this book had the most laugh out loud moments than any of the books preceding this installment. Fantastic world. Great plot. Great subplots. Terrific characters. Highly recommended
I think every reader needs to start doing this to force authors to write a quick Recap chapter, which readers can skip if they remember, and those who don't won't stop reading the series.
Consistent series. Fun mc with zfg personality. If you are new to the series give it a go. I have enjoyed all of the books. Bit over priced for an e book.
Just when Alex was getting the hang of things, there are so many new rifts opening up! What does this mean? More power and more loot. Now, we get to see a bit of the family politics.
I have really enjoyed this series for the most part. It has a ton of action and different situatin the MC has to problem solve his way out of. Some of the action is related to monster hunting some of it is related to conflict with people. There is humor and it is pretty fast paced. Definitely plan to continue with the series.
