Author Halden started us off in the first book of the Entwined Realities series with humanity's thought-energy creating unwanted realities from popular fiction -- realities that impugned on Earth's true reality with devastating effects and tremendous ruin.
"A Fainsholm Reality" takes up the story of the four soldiers stranded in Fainsholm when the incursion portals were eventually closed back on Earth, and in doing so, not only weaves an exciting and action packed story surrounding the four -- Ashton, Toker, Matt and Curran -- but continues to expand the fantasy realm of Fainsholm for the reader with amazing creativity... and gets in some amusing quips as well as pointed social and political commentary about real-world Earth at the same time.
The first book was one I couldn't put down, and author Halden continues in this way with his second book -- it's a page-turner that had me up until the wee hours on a week day to see how it ended! But it was worth going into work the next day sleepy, and I think you'll find it just as enthralling!
