Motherhood is a beautiful vocation, rich in love and mercy, where little souls are nurtured and guided to intimately know the source of love himself. But what if mothers are not shown how to guide these little souls? After turning to source after source offered by the world, mothers can feel depleted, isolated, and insecure, leaving them unsure of how to love well as they lose sight of motherhood's profound and eternal impact.
She Resting in the Beauty of Motherhood offers mothers something different. Here, women will find the words and experiences of seasoned mothers— Catholic women who are living witnesses of God's love. Each contributor has composed a letter as if she were writing it to her younger mother self, offering powerful lessons learned and vulnerable experiences shared. Guided by the description of love in 1 Corinthians 13, these mothers' words provide solidarity, hope, and inspiration in the vocation of motherhood.

To Ascension Press - Thank you for publishing this. As a young mom of 2 under 2, just thank you.. thank you for sharing the wisdom of many Catholic mothers in the form of letters with us new young moms. This is a book that I recommend keeping out on your coffee table to read a bit from when you need encouragement to love fearlessly throughout the struggles of motherhood. It will get coffee stains. The kids will grab at it. But the wisdom it contains from experienced Catholic moms, is a treasure. …Just thank you.
Such a beautiful book filled with insights on motherhood based on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. It is so rich in wisdom and I felt like reading this book was a lot like cake… you want to devour it quickly because it’s sooo good and yet you should take your time to slowly enjoy and savor all this book contains.
Five stars. This is one of those books that you just pick right back up again as soon as you finish it. I hope to be reading it and letting it work on my heart for a very long time.
