Seventh-day Adventists affirm the doctrine of the Trinity not on the basis of Christian tradition, creeds, or human philosophies but based on the teachings of God’s word. The Bible is the uniquely normative rule of all faith and practice by which all other teachings are to be judged and measured. In approaching the subject of the Trinity, we must recognize that we will never fully understand God. Nevertheless, He has chosen to reveal Himself throughout the pages of the Bible and invites us to know Him.
