The Surgeon's Christmas Miracle

Rate this book
A festive, heart-pulsing medical romance from Alison Roberts, perfect for fans of Sarah Morgan, Jo Bartlett and Grey's Anatomy! Can the spirit of Christmas work its magic…? ✨❤️ After inheriting a house from his estranged father, billionaire surgeon Luke Harrington wants nothing to do with it and the associated memories. However, his plan to free himself of the burden and demolish it comes unstuck almost immediately because the house isn’t empty. It’s occupied by Amy Phillips and six children in need.

It’s almost Christmas, and nurse Amy is determined to make this the best one yet. From making homemade garlands, to decorating the tree, Amy radiates Christmas spirit. However, the thought of being evicted weighs heavily on her mind. Until she finally comes face to face with Luke. He may seem like a Scrooge, but as she gets to know the man who holds her fate in his hands, she sees there is more to him than his guarded exterior. If she can show him what family…and true love looks like, there may be hope for more than one Christmas miracle.

I was born and raised in Dunedin, New Zealand, but had my first year of school in London, UK and the second in Washington DC. I became a primary school teacher and began writing when I was living in Glasgow, Scotland for two years and teachers were all on strike. My first novel was a medical thriller with a good dash of romance thrown in.
I have now written well over a hundred romance novels with more than a dash of medicine thrown in. I love weaving the emotional journey of a love story through the background drama the medical world can provide. I also love the rabbit holes I can go down in the name of research.
Above all, I love romance. And a happy ending!

What a beautiful story

This is my first book by this author. I saw it advertised and thought I would give it a try. I really really enjoyed this story, it was set at Christmas time which made a little more special. It was just the right length and the author was very good at setting the scenes and getting you involved with the characters.
It was unusual in a good way, Luke, a prominent cardiac surgeon, a loner and lonely without realising it. Amy a nurse on the same cardiac ward, she was also involved along with her mother and sister in fostering children. There is a lot to unpick in this story but Alison was able to weave everything into the pages.
I definitely recommend this book, it is heartwarming, there are also difficult topics running alongside but all comes together for the sweetest HEA.
Thank you Alison ❤️

I enjoyed reading this story about a surgeon who inherited a less than ideal house and was planning to tear it down until he found out a nurse at the hospital he was operating at was running a foster home in the that house. He had to reassess his plans when a fire broke out at the foster home and he had to find a place for the family to live.

The Surgeons Christmas Miracle

This would make a good Hallmark Christmas movie. It’s unashamedly cheesy like one. Uptight (Scroogy) surgeon meets Foster mum and kids.

The Christmas Miracle

If you can't have Miracles at Christmas when can you have them. Lovely story all about the children. Would read it again.

The Mmc was a total dick to begin with. I almost DNF it. But it turned out good in the end.
