The Rocker Who Loves Me is book 4 in this series and it’s Shane and Harper’s book. Shane is another member of Demon Wings and Drake’s younger brother. Harper is Lana’s roommate and one of her best friends. When reading Lana and Drake’s book, I could see sparks flying between Shane and Harper, but was concerned with how their relationship would work. Shane is the man-whore of the rock group and Harper is on the inexperienced side. I was proven wrong with my concerns because these two fit perfectly together!
Shane, like his older brother Drake, was abused as a child. It’s shaped the man he’s become. Instead of drinking to excess like Drake, Shane has coped with lots of running (he is literally running/exercising ALL THE TIME) and having sex. The having constant sex with all kinds of different women was not a turn on here- but I was glad we found out the WHY when it comes to that. It was a legit reason that I get. Anyways, Harper is the girl for him. The one that makes him change his ways. Once he’s with her, he doesn’t want anyone else.
I know, it’s a bit cliche. But I enjoyed the heck out of it. This series is highly entertaining and easy to read. I was happy to see some fresh drama with this story line and I really liked both characters a lot! The next book in the series is another Emmie and Nik book, which I have mixed feelings about. On one hand, I’m hoping it’s not the same stuff we learned in book one about them, on the other hand, book 1 was a novella and I’m excited to see more about them!

Oh my goodness, I thought Drake was my favourite Rocker, but now there's a battle inside me!
Awesome read, though not as "adventurous" as TRTNM. But this style suits Harper and Shane. A good romance doesn't have to be the typical "exploring the characters for the first half of the book, have sex in the middle, then fight and then make up for the epilogue". Browning manages to write a book that doesn't fall in this stereotypical pattern.
What I didn't enjoy: The pace was too fast at some points, preventing me from "absorbing" parts of the story. The ending was too rushed, as if the writer had a page number limit to keep.
By the way, I love how all books fron The rocker series end with the same event. That way all the books stay connected.

Annnnnd I'm gonna go with 3.5 Stars on this one...
I really enjoyed this. Shane was the typical reformed manwhore who suddenly only has eyes for "his girl" and I love that character cliche - seriously, it nevers get old. He was a total sweetie for Harper (after a bump or two in the road, of course) and his dirty talk?
However, there were a couple plot points that made me scratch my head in confusion.
1) It just didn't fit in this book - or within the jive of this series as a whole - in my opinion. It seems like ever since a certain book came out, everyone feels the need to throw this into the mix now.
2) This just seemed silly to me and I felt like it was added simply to create a drama blow-up moment, kind of like the , but at least that fit and made some sense...although, how hard is it really to

I knew this series has really good potential. A little over the top on the drama, especially shane. Yes i know he is in love with Harper, but its still a bit cheesy. But hey, cheesy romance sometimes a good story too.
Another thing is, i think miss Browning is jamming too much of plot and layer here. Like that BDSM thing.... not necessary. The last twist about Shane family, can be injected sooner. Also i want to see Shane as a damage hero because of his past.
Despite all that, i still enjoy this book on my weekend night.

It actually hurts me that I have to give The Rocker That Loves Me a Three star review.I loved her first few books in the series but this one fell short of being a Five Star Review.This is Shane and Harper's story.Harper is very shy and doesn't understand how beautiful she is.Shane had a really bad childhood and is your basic Man in a band that well has alot of women..too put it nicely.He see's Harper and something Clicks,and THAT is all I am saying.No spoilers.
So why did The Rocker That Loves Me receive 3 stars?Let me tell you. Number One,When you are writing a Character like Harper who feels inadequate you have got to put that in the story.Express that.Use it to the best of your ability.It felt rushed..almost like "Oh Harper had a hard childhood,Her mom was mean to her" and that was that.When you have a character that was emotionally abused you have to be able to portray that character and have the reader feel that emotion.
Number Two,Exclamation Points!!!!!! There were too many and in places and dialogue they should not have been.It was distracting and quite frankly in my head I had Shane doing spirit fingers quite a bit.I think with a small bit of editing the Exclamation point issue could be resolved.
Number Three,The book jumps from one thing to another very quickly..There was a part where one of the Secondary Characters to this book..she was a Main Character in a previous book winds up in the hospital and I had no idea how she winded up there just that she was there and it wasn't pretty. Last but not least Number Four,Content.Content Content.The Rocker That Loves Me Can be a Five star read.However Every other page the characters were having sex.I mean everyone loves it I know..But Honestly sometimes less is more.I would have rather had more content about Harper and Shane or even other Characters then have to read about them in bed every other page. Oh and one final thing,there was a scene when Shanes sister is in the apartment and Harper freaks out and has no trust in Shane.That bothered me because You have two characters that are madly in love but even after him practically moving heaven and earth to prove that she is beautiful and he loves her She doubts him at the first chance she gets.
I will say it again.This can be a Five Star review.I am writing this in hopes of helping the author and in hopes that she will understand why I gave her a Three star review.

Yes it was not actually a bad book.
The love story between the young and virgin heroine and the playboy rockstar is quite cute. He is from an abusive background as all the members of his band, and being a sexy hot rockstar he forgets his past having lots of sex with whatever walks and breath and not even that.
Ha has orgies and all and honestly, I know it’s not something that every reader can appreciate, but what is a rockstar supposed to do? They usually have sex take drugs and drinks alcohol as if it’s water. So he’s not abnormal.
He meets the heroine at a local gym and he decides to date her because he has a hard on each time he sees her and since extreme sex lately has lost its appeal he now finds the young virgin quite exciting. She has a hard background too but hey, they are good together. He is faithful and this is more than it can be expected for a rocker his age, and he’s also cute and protective of her. There’s something of a lil drama where he takes her out for dinner with her evil mother and evil stepsister who for all her life have bullied her and eroded her self confidence and this almost causes a break up. He only wanted to put them on their place once and for all but the heroine feels betrayed and angry with the hero. I agre with her. Never try to interfere with your partner family at that early stage of your relationship. All is well in the end.
The hero is a nice and committed guy, pity his past is always on his mind while he’s having sex with the heroine. No matter of sex with her is the best you ever had, it’s gross to compare bjs… I understand this might not be everyone cuppa but a rockstar is mot supposed to be celibate not moderate, in fact the opposite is true! The good side is that he never have another woman after meeting her and asking her out. He went to a club with one of his band friends but didn’t want to do anything. He’s young, sane and hot. So I suppose it’s a success. Lol!

Loved Shane and Harper
This is one of those stories were you see a total man whore turn to mush when he meets his soul mate.
Shane really does a one eighty and it's swoon worthy.
loving this series, you really need to start from the beginning to appreciate the dynamics of the love the guys in the band and now there extended family have for each other.
It's a journey seeing each of these rockers finally settling down and the rock that is Emmie still firmly in the middle just like she was as a little girl back in the trailer park.
I love how its written and how it flows, love the characters, recommended series.

4 Sex on legs Shane Stars
I really enjoyed Shane and Harper's story, for me it just felt like something was lacking which I can't put my finger on, I don't know what it was..
But in saying that this rocker series is probably one of my all time favorites, I love how each band member gets their own story, and how each book starts right at the beginning of it all so it's not a catch story..
Can't wait for the next book!!

The Rocker Who Loves Me was the fourth book in the Rocker series by Terri Anne Browning.
Shane Stevenson and Harper Jones met previously in book three, The Rocker Who Needs Me. Shane was the guitarist for the world renown rock band Demon’s Wings and the younger brother to Drake. Whereas Drake drank his childhood demons away, Shane had sex - and lots of it. His exploits were numerous and public. Until he met Harper.
Harper was one of Lana’s gorgeous roommates. Although in contrast to Shane, Harper suffered her own childhood abuse; which left her with no self esteem and totally unaware of her beauty. She flew under the radar and preferred it that way.
The storyline coincided with the end of book three and then took us beyond. I loved both Shane and Harper. And I loved Shane’s loyalty to his brother. Browning unveiled a side of Shane that wasn’t evident in the earlier books. He was real and he was lovable.
Al in all, The Rocker Who Loves Me was a quick and heartfelt read. It was a journey of love, trust, hope and new beginnings.
Browning continued to set the stage for future books. But in the meantime, Browning will take us back to Nik and Emmie’s story through Nik’s eyes in The Rocker That Holds Her.

3-star read.
Enjoyable but nothing wow IMO. Few scenes in the book that made me scratch my head to as why they were there or what was the thinking of the character.
Shane is the hero, but nothing really made him stand out and same with the heroine Harper, nice character, but I didn't fall in love with her. That said, the book was enjoyable and entertaining, just nothing wow!

Entretenido sin más. Me encanta Shane y Harper me cae muy bien, aunque la situación de partida de estos dos no pueda ser más cliché. Verdaderamente no pasa nada más allá del desarrollo de la relación entre estos dos personajes, pero se agradece después del drama anterior.

Shane story.
This is surprisingly so good! After reading Drake story in the previous book--which is so boring! this book is waaaayyy better!
Shane wasn't my fav when I read the first book, because of his 'bad boy' sides and all. He's the number 1 man-whore among Demon's Wings member, so I had a bad first impression towards him. But in this book, I really like him!! I apologized for having a bad impression, Shane! LOL
I really enjoyed this book because in this book there's no repetitions from the previous books, less stupid dramas, and LOTS of hot sex scenes!
I like Harper. She's not that badass but not annoying either.
And I can see some part of myself in her, it makes me like her even more.
I love how this series end with good HEA and without cliffy!
I'm soooo looking forward to read the next book because it's Nik POV! OMG!!

You know, I didn't even think I was really all that interested in Shane. Seriously. It's nothing personal against the guy. It's just that I never really got much of a feeling for him, or, probably more accurate, I've been so fixated on Drake since Book 1 (point out the damaged boy with a drinking problem in any room, and I'll have him moved in with me in about two hours - this is an absolute truth about me - feel free to cast your judgment down upon my horrible decision making) that I may not have really paid much attention to Shane.
So that was a really long-winded way of saying Shane and his book surprised me. The love story takes an atypical route with the manwhore archetype and provides an intriguing foil in Harper as his romantic partner. The author's continued ability to propel and elucidate all of her principals' stories in each installment delights me as well.
The sly reference to Shane's inability to deal with anyone's blood but his own and the bachelor party shenanigans were faboo too.
Highly recommend.

I gave this one a shot even after reading Book 11 in which I hated the H.
But this was a cute little love story. The reformed manwhore H had eyes only for his h from the moment he meets her.
He's unlike most of his sleazy bandmates which is ironic because Shane is considered the biggest manwhore out of all of them and yet he showed genuine loyalty to his feelings for Harper by focusing on her & them as a couple and not continuing to whore around for years before he made his move (unlike his sleazy bandmates Wroth/Nick/Zander who did not earn their girls even a little).
So yeah, rockstars can keep it in their pants when they meet the one!

Without a doubt this is my favourite rock star series EVER, so when Terri Anne Browning messaged me after she saw my reviews of the first 2 books and asked me if I would beta read for her, you can imagine how excited I was. So being the crazily lucky girl that I am, I got to get up close and personal with the very sexy Shane Stevenson as Terri Anne was writing and I just couldn't get enough!
Demon’s Wings aren't just a band. They're a family. And Terri Anne has such a way with writing about this close knit group of rockers that she makes you feel like part of their family and she makes sure that each member finds a place in your heart that you will never want them to leave. We've had Emmy's story, Jesse and Layla's story, Drake and Lana's story, and now it is time for Shane and Harper's story.
Throughout the series so far, Drake has been my favourite Demon. I was convinced that there was no way that any other member could even come close to me loving them like I love Drake. And then came Shane. Though he doesn't seem to be as tortured by his past as Drake is, he still has his battles and there's one particular scene that was handled beautifully regarding this. My heart broke for Shane as we learn what he went through and how he dealt with these things in the only way he knew how.
Harper has been faced with constant critism from her Mom and step sister because she's "not beautiful enough" and it's had an effect on her whole life, leaving her feeling insecure and not worthy. She is such a sweet girl that I am SO glad she was the one to catch Shane's attention and his heart because their relationship is just beautiful and they really help each other when it comes to their troubled pasts.
Now, Shane being the sexy rocker that he is and Terri Anne being the great author that she is, there is some seriously hot scenes that will get you all worked up and flustered as Shane works his magic. *fans self* That Demon certainly knows his stuff!
Not read The Rocker . . . Series yet? PLEASE do! I love my Demons so much and I just know that you will too.

My heart broke for Shane as we learn what he went through and how he dealt with these things in the only way he knew how.
Harper has been faced with constant critism from her Mom and step sister because she's "not beautiful enough" and it's had an effect on her whole life, leaving her feeling insecure and not worthy. She is such a sweet girl that I am SO glad she was the one to catch Shane's attention and his heart because their relationship is just beautiful and they really help each other when it comes to their troubled pasts.
Now, Shane being the sexy rocker that he is and Terri Anne being the great author that she is, there is some seriously hot scenes that will get you all worked up and flustered as Shane works his magic. *fans self* That Demon certainly knows his stuff!
Not read The Rocker . . . Series yet? PLEASE do! I love my Demons so much and I just know that you will too.

If you have never read this series start immediately. This book is an amazing continuation of the series this one is about Shane and Harper. Harper is a girl who has never truly felt loved and can not believe a beautiful rock god like Shane would ever want someone like her. Shane takes one look at Harper and knows he wants this woman the problem with that is the more he gets to know her the more he realizes he wants more than her body. This is a great story about falling in love and finding that love that will last a lifetime. I would so recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

Fun, quick read. I love all the characters from past books. It was great to see how they were. Harper and Shane aren't my favorite couple but I do love these books!!

Sobre el drama con eso... no me gustó la actitud de Harper!! Entiendo que se sintió traicionada, pero nc... me dio la impresión que se salió de mambo.
En todo caso, me sorprendió porque esperaba el mambo por otro lado.. pero no fue tan cliché (al menos, en eso) la autora jaja

5 Stars (Thumbs up!)
This might be my favorite book of the series so far! For me this series was starting to go down in ratings – still loved it, but I felt Mrs. Browning was rushing the story and character of Emmie was starting to bother me (which was disappointing). This book, however, pulled me right back in – in a great way! Thanks Mrs. Browning. At one point I even felt like Mrs. Browning may have read my reviews and addressed a few concerns I had (obvs she didn't, but I like that the author is in sync with her fans/readers).
Okay so my review:
This is my Harper: (Bar Rafaeli)
What I loved about Harper was her outlook on things. Even though she was verbally & emotionally abused her whole life, she was still extremely sweet, kind & loving.
My Shane: (unknown hottie)
What didn't I love about Shane? Even though he lived an “sexually adventurous” lifestyle he was still extremely sweet, kind and respected women. His love for Harper was unconditional and the way he continued to build her up was so tender throughout the book - sigh
Overall, I didn't get the “rushed” feeling I expected to get form this installment. Book 1-3 at times were so rushed it threw me off. But this one I thought was well passed. I also like that Emmie redeemed herself in my eyes in this book. I think she may have done that in the 3rd book, but I was so pissed at her then I couldn't let it go.
Overall I think this might be have favorite. I love these two together. Loved their openness and that they communicated with each other…I also loved the story line – S.E.X.
Off to the 5th book – Nik’s story…

A cada livro, fica melhor... ♥
Este livro conta a história do mais cafajeste e "piranhão" da banda Asas do Demônio, Shane é o típico rockstar, que pega geral, que vai a todas as festas com bebidas e muito sexo. E Harper é a menina bonita e doce com uma grande baixa autoestima. Sim, é o típico romance clichê, onde o homem sexy se apaixona por uma mulher doce e pura. Aquele lance de "os opostos se atraem", é isso mesmo, ambos se apaixonam e então muda tudo.
Acontece toda a atração inegável entre eles, mas pode funcionar. Harper se sentindo inferior, sabendo que Shane nunca iria se sentir atraído por alguém como ela. E Shane se sentindo indigno da beleza imaculada de Harper. Os dois constroem uma amizade e que em pouco tempo avança em um caso de amor. Acontece todo um drama perante a insegurança de ambos, porém Shane mostrou a Harper de que ela é verdadeiramente linda e única para ele. E Harper transformou este deus-do-sexo-roqueiro-cafajeste em um homem digno de seu corpo, alma e mente.
E vamos lá de novo, e o final, já tinha chorado horrores no terceiro livro (The Rocker That Needs Me), e nesse não foi diferente, Shane me surpreendeu totalmente, fiquei apaixonada por esse menino! ♥
Adorei que a autora mostrou mais uma vez os personagens dos livros anteriores e dos próximos da série, Terri Anne exibiu também algumas partes que nos livros anteriores não foram capturadas detalhadamente.
Mais uma vez estou apaixonada por todos esses personagens incríveis, esta banda, e principalmente por esta autora, sem sombra de dúvidas necessito ler os próximos desta série!

Been waiting for this story, ever since I realised that Terri Anne wasn't just going to do a stand alone book.
Loved it! Especially because she was able to release it a whole day earlier than anticipated.
So... story - Man whore guy meets girl who thinks she's ugly. Fairly typical set up, I grant you, but there's abuse in both backgrounds. This plays a big part in why both girl and guy are the way they are now. Therefore, there's a bit more depth to what's going on than the usual 'innocent girl redeems man whore guy'. They end up helping each other with their respective demons, which is a lot more balanced, I think.
Anyway, if you've only just stumbled across Terri Anne Browning, and her books, please start at the beginning, with The Rocker That Holds Me (Emmie and Nik's story, which will be re-done soon from Nik's POV). Then move onto Layla and Jessie's Story (The Rocker That Savors Me). Then it's The Rocker That Needs Me (Lana and Drake). Not that you NEED to read them in order, but the stories often overlap, and refer back to stuff that's happened previously, so it's just A LOT easier if you read them as they're intended to be read, other wise you get dumped with characters who you really don't know/understand - especially Emmie. She's important. If you're going to only read one other book from this series before diving into any of the others, you MUST read The Rocker That Holds Me FIRST. It explains how/why the relationships in this series are they way they are.
So, all in all. I like. Lots. - She writes sexy rock stars.... sexy. :D Enjoy.

Perfection is the perfect description of this book. I feel lost already now that it's over. This group of people will just consume you.
This was Shane and Harper's story it was truly beautiful. Shane is a typical Rockstar sex, booze and rock n roll was what he survived on. Harper a beautiful girl with low self esteem. There attraction is undeniable but can it work. Shane feels unworthy of this untainted beauty. Harper knows that he would never be attracted to some one like her. Their friendship quickly progresses in to a love affair. He has opened her to desires she never though were possible. No relationship is free of its drama and believe me they go through it. The best part about all the drama is the making up. Shane has made Harper realize she's truly beautiful and the only one for him. Harper has changed this rocker sex god into a man worthy of her mind, body and soul.

I have to say going into this book I probably liked Shane's character the least. That's not to say that I didn't like him, just up until this point I hadn't connected with him yet.
By the end of this book though, he solidified a huge place in my heart for his character. This book gave a real glimpse into Shane and his history, and it truly made me understand him and all his previous actions. Throughout this book you get to see his relationship with Harper grow and develop, and it is truly beautiful to read. I absolutely loved seeing Harper and Shane together, and the events that surrounded their relationship were very grounded, which was fantastic to read. I also loved that once again this book shows you all of the phenomenal characters of this series, and keeps you updated on all them. By the end of this book you will once again realize why you love all these amazing characters, this band, and you'll know without a doubt that you have got to read more of this series!

To be honest, Shane is my least favorite Demon Wing's member but after reading this book.. well, he's still not my fav but I see him differently now.
Shane might be the biggest man whore but behind this is a broken man. I find it adorable yet heartbreaking that he thinks he's undeserving of Harper who is sweet and innocent. He's afraid to taint her with the things from his past...

Overall, I liked it. Not the best book in the series but it's cute and sexy!

I totally LOVE this series. Hot scenes and HOT Rocker!!! Out of the 4, this book contains less drama. I would've love to see some more action between Harper and her mom and stepsister, nevertheless I was psyched with this book. It is a parallel story of Book 3, seeing Shane and Harper's love story brewing while Lana and Drake are having their drama. I love how this books intertwine with each other.
I'm really excited with Nik's book, the first book was too short and I need me some Nik and Emma!
