It is the most beautifully written book I’ve read in years - the language is so beautiful and the story so captivating that I did not want this journey to end too quickly.
The fact that the incredibly epic cover is based on an actual painting by the author leaves me speechless!…

Incredible! Exactly why I read a book. The world building is beautifully detailed, dynamic, cozy, and has characters you care about. If you love high fantasy read it, if you’ve never tried high fantasy read it.
Also super cool that the author painted the cover. Love visualizing the artistic direction straight from the authors mind.

I’ve finally found a book that I really have enjoyed. The authors flow of the story and characters is really done and I love some of the descriptions that she uses when showing us the scene that is unfolding. You get a good understanding of the characters and their personalities. I am looking forward to where the next book will take us. Wake of Ruin falls into my favourite genre.

Such an amazing, rich and beautiful story! You will feel transported to such a magical world and meet characters you easily fall in love with. The intrigue kept me turning my pages but at the same time I was trying to savor the beauty of the world! Can’t wait for the next!
