Elizabeth has always felt like an outsider in her own world—never quite fitting in, never truly belonging. Everything changes when an inexplicable force pulls her into an unknown realm, shattering everything she thought she knew.
In this strange, otherworldly place, magic pulses through the air, and ancient powers intertwine with the land itself. Lost in a world of danger and mystery, Elizabeth must confront forces beyond her understanding. Relying on her will to survive, the pull of a cryptic calling, and the awakening of a burning power within her, she is forced to navigate this new reality.
As secrets begin to unravel and enemies close in, Elizabeth struggles to find her place in a world torn by everlasting conflict, where nothing is as it seems. To survive, she must rise, adapt, and decide who she truly is—and what she will become.
She might lose her name, change her fate, and perhaps even alter the very future of this strange new world. The question will she find the path to salvation, or will she become the force that brings its downfall?
A gripping tale of survival, transformation, and the relentless pull of destiny.

If you are drawn to stories with rising action that feel like a dream, shadowed with mystery, and bound with the rhythm of myth—you’ve found the right book.
This story features moments of fantasy combat, emotional and psychological themes, and light romantic tension. Best suited for mature teens (16+) and adult readers.
Storytelling has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began painting, writing poetry and short stories back in school, often losing myself for hours and eagerly disappearing into imaginary worlds whenever I could.
Alongside writing, photography became another way for me to bring dreams to life. What began as teenage curiosity evolved into a career in editorial, cinematic portraiture and fantasy photography—each genre giving me the chance to empower others and explore beauty in all its forms. Over the years, I’ve traveled from the alleyways of Europe to the deserts of Dubai and streets of New York, always chasing stories, light, and meaning. Photography became not just a career, but a way of seeing the world—and through it, I met my husband Dillon. A fellow creative, he’s now both my partner in life and in our shared artistic pursuits. We work together on projects that blend vision, heart, and adventure, supporting each other as we grow, explore, and build something meaningful side by side.
Whether I’m writing, painting, photographing, designing, or dreaming up something new, I’m always chasing that spark—the thrill of turning imagination into something real. Creativity, to me, isn’t a job or a hobby. It’s how I live, grow, and connect—with the world, and with others.
It is the most beautifully written book I’ve read in years - the language is so beautiful and the story so captivating that I did not want this journey to end too quickly.
The fact that the incredibly epic cover is based on an actual painting by the author leaves me speechless!…
A really delightful and unique read - I 1,000,000% recommend it, it’s a stellar story!
Incredible! Exactly why I read a book. The world building is beautifully detailed, dynamic, cozy, and has characters you care about. If you love high fantasy read it, if you’ve never tried high fantasy read it.
Also super cool that the author painted the cover. Love visualizing the artistic direction straight from the authors mind.
I’ve finally found a book that I really have enjoyed. The authors flow of the story and characters is really done and I love some of the descriptions that she uses when showing us the scene that is unfolding. You get a good understanding of the characters and their personalities. I am looking forward to where the next book will take us. Wake of Ruin falls into my favourite genre.
Such an amazing, rich and beautiful story! You will feel transported to such a magical world and meet characters you easily fall in love with. The intrigue kept me turning my pages but at the same time I was trying to savor the beauty of the world! Can’t wait for the next!
