I really liked how the story didn’t waste time and jumped straight into the mystery and tension. The idea that danger follows them even when they try to move on makes the story feel exciting and a little unpredictable.

One of the strongest parts of the book is how it shows trust and relationships. Everyone seems to be hiding something, and that keeps you guessing about who to believe. I enjoyed how the author mixed normal college life with magic, secrets, and unexpected twists. 3.5 ⭐️ I have mixed feelings about this book. I liked how it continued from book one with the story of Remy and Logan after they’re run in with Daniel. I’m already invested in the characters but the flow felt a little uneven at times, skipping ahead and parts of the plot and some information repeated. but overall, this book was pretty fast, paced always danger lurking with Logan trying to save Remy at every turn. there’s trust and loyalty woven into this story which is really great and made me stay engaged in the story. I will say the ending fell a little short for me although I can see where the next book is headed.

I went back and started with book 1. I’m glad I did or I wouldn’t have had the backstory of Logan and Remy. I love a good shifter story and wish we would get to her 19th birthday. This girl gets hurt or put in danger more than anyone I know. I’m glad she is always ok.

All of the family keep matching to their soul mates. It’s sweet. This is a good wholesome shifter book. If you are looking for action in relation to spice this isn’t it but it’s a great romance for sure. Ready for the next one to come out.

Logan and Remy’s story continues, and boy, are there some twists and turns in this….

Witches, vampires, dark magic, gods and goddesses. It’s still more of a YA/NA vibe, and this time they’re at college. An influx of new characters (like a lot), yet Logan and Remy are still the only ones awaiting their bonding!
