The orc king acts so grumpy. But I can read his mind… and it’s filthy!
Did I mention I’m a new witch with telepathic powers? Yeah. It’s a lot. Especially since every time I get near Aldronn, the commanding orc either wants to boss me around or bed me. Or boss me around while bedding me.
Ugh. Why does that have to be so hot? I can never let him know! He’ll be even more sinfully arrogant than he is now, and that wicked smirk of his already makes me want to scream… or kiss him. Or maybe both. Okay, it’s totally both.
I need to focus on our mission. My magic means I’m the only one who can talk to the goddess and figure out how to free her. We need her help more than ever, because dark fae have started to invade. But the mission means long nights alone with Aldronn, and there’s only one tent…

3.5 stars While I did enjoy parts of this book, it wasn’t my fave of the series. May and Aldronn were cute together and had lots of chemistry. They both saw good in the other that they couldn’t see in themselves. I feel like the violation of mind reading was really glossed over. It’s intensely personal and May did cross a clear boundary in the book. The resolution of the Moon Goddess plot line was unique and an unexpected twist.
Spice: 4/5
Triggers: mind reading, grief for death of parent (long past), feelings of isolation, violence, blood/gore, drowning, reference to genocide, bullying (brief, memory of), past dubcon (MMC felt obligation)
What starts as a spicy fantasy romance with a fated mates twist quickly turns into a layered, character-driven journey full of heart, humor, and world-saving stakes. May (h) doesn’t have her life together. No career. No big dreams. May is smart, messy, relatable, and just trying to figure herself out. Just a backpack and a sense that maybe she’s meant for more. That “more” crashes into her reality when she’s pulled through a magical portal into Faerie—and claimed by an orc king who insists they’re bound by destiny. Aldronn (H) is strong, serious, and 100% convinced that May is his moon-bound bride. She’s not buying it. Aldronn is a grumpy orc king with serious protector energy, but underneath all that muscle and duty he just wants to be loved for who he is. Between battling dark fae, unlocking her chaotic mind-reading magic, and catching unexpected feelings for the orc with a war-scarred heart… Amy might just find what she’s been missing. Dragons. Unicorns. Pizza-powered pixies. A found family of warriors, witches, and weirdos. And one very determined orc king. A steamy, orc-human, fated mates, fantasy adventure romance, exploring self-discovery, identity, healing, belonging, found family, choosing love on your own terms, and building something real in a world full of magic and chaos.
I was so lucky to be selected as an ARC reader for this book!!
Please please please read this series!!! It is so phenomenal you have no idea. This book, all of these books, suck you in from the first page and keeps you on the edge throughout the stories!! I wish I could give it more stars!! Everything from the plot, the characters and side characters personalities, are off the chart! Oh, and the spice 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Where can I find me some lonely Orc!!!!!! These Orc’s know how to care for and love their brides!!!!
Absolutely perfect for a fantasy romance!! All the feels and you will laugh, be moved, and fall in love with these characters. A lot of the things the human women talk about for their back stories are relatable. Krista takes the way most women feel and puts it into words with a twist of fantasy and romance. All body shapes, color, and depth of these women make them relatable. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the spinoffs!! We know it’s going to be good!!
It’s just as corny as the rest of the series. And it’s slow. It feels like it is twice the length it needs to be for what happens. And this book is unique in the series in that you expect a certain persona from a queen and May is cringy and annoying. Not Queen like at all. And that bugs me.
Honestly I’m glad this series is over. I won’t be reading the ferndale falls ones coming up.

This is the book where we finally find out why all of the lovely ladies have been brought the Faerie - no spoilers! All I will say is that it was brilliantly written and kept me absorbed. This book focuses on May and King Aldronn. I loved May as she is not afraid to give her opinion and gives as good as she gets. Aldronn is grumpy but also sweet and caring at the same time. They make a great couple. I will be sad to see this series finish, but this book is the perfect send-off!
Decent story, definitely would have made more sense if I had read the stories in order. I have read some of the books in the series and recognized some of the names, but it was a little fuzzy. So my advice would be to read these in order so you’re in the loop with what’s going on. Loved the fated mates (moon bound) aspect of the story and the characters realizations that they are worth love and respect. There are many magical aspects and all sorts of fun fantasy characters in the story. There’s knotting - who knew that’s something orcs did? Kind of a resolution to an issue that’s been building in this fantasy world for several books, and ends with an introduction to further development in this series. Decent read and would read more of the series!
💚 “I love you more than I ever realized I could love anyone. You have undone me and made me anew.” ~~~ May is so amazing! She might be a hot mess, but she’s also very kind, compassionate, empathic and caring. And she’s so sassy! Even more, I loved May’s curiosity, adventurous spirit, her ability to find joy in even the smallest things and her courage to face any challenges thrown her way. May is an incredible woman and I loved everything about her!
Aldronn is the Orc Daddy… *cough* (sorry, typo…) the Orc King of Elmswood Keep, the ruler of all the orcs in Alarria. He’s big, strong, confident, fierce, protective, honorable and a bit bossy (okay… he’s very bossy). And he truly and deeply cares for his people. Even more, Aldronn is so deliciously possessive and dominant. And that filthy mouth of his! The growly Orc King is one incredibly charming and utterly irresistible male and I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about him!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between May and Aldronn! The King finally meets his match and he and May together were absolute fire! Their chemistry was fantastic from the very beginning. I also adored their banters and teasings and I loved that both gave as good as they got. And they were such a badass team. Even more, I loved that they were so understanding and supportive of each other, but were also challenging each other in all the right ways. And when they gave into the undeniable attraction, the spice was absolutely SPICING! Magic made the passionate moments they shared hot, but when mind-reading was added to the mix, things got even HOTTER and I couldn’t get enough of all the naughty delight! May and Aldronn were absolutely perfect for each other and I absolutely adored both of them!
In addition, the storyline was phenomenal! Not only do we get to go on an epic quest where help will be needed from all allies in the realm, but we finally get to learn the answers to ALL the questions we’ve asked ourselves throughout the series. Moreover, now I have my eyes set to a certain shadow Daddy and I’m pretty sure we haven’t seen the last of him yet. With everything happening, I was glued to the pages till the very end, excited to see what more will be discovered and how everything will be resolved.
Overall, Bound to the Orc King is another remarkable addition to the series and the perfect series finale! It’s filled with adventure, danger, humor, non-stop action, magic, suspense, unexpected turns of events, smoking-hot passion and incredible characters.
I couldn’t put it down and absolutely loved every single page of it!
Gleeful Goblin Review: I don't think I'm ever ready for a beloved series to be over but man this one hits hard. I've loved every story in this series and I can't get enough of the universe that this author has built. But as they say, all good things come to an end. My two consolations are that I can reread this series whenever I need a comfort read and that I still have the remaining audiobooks to look forward to buying.
As always, this author has created such lovable and relatable main AND side characters that they feel like people (or magical beings) that I would love to be friends with. For this book especially, having allies is tremendously important because of the mission set out by the Moon Goddess. May and Aldronn have a very interesting dynamic since May can read Aldronn's mind from the very start. So while there's no language barrier or miscommunication issues, being able to read the mind of your very grumpy but appealing fated partner is its own set of complications.
Aldronn made my heart ache for him from the very start because of how he feels so responsible for keeping everyone safe and happy while also feeling incapable of love or even being able to receive love in return. "By the goddess, it’s an amazing power. She’ll be able to read any foe’s thoughts, allow us to counter any attack. With her by my side, I’ll be able to keep my people safer than ever. Yet what will it mean for me, for us? I’ve never shared the true intimacy of my innermost thoughts with a woman—or with anyone, for that matter. Yet May is my moon bound, my queen. If there’s one person I can share my true self with, it will be her. Still, whispered pillow talk is a far cry from her reading every stray thought that might cross my mind. And what will she think if she discovers my inability to love? I don’t like feeling this exposed. I am the rock my people depend upon. I am their king. My responsibilities were made clear from childhood. Letting anyone see me as less… No, I cannot bear it."
For her part, May has been feeling rootless and like the odd man out everywhere she's been and with everyone she knows, even her best friends and family. In a way, these two have hangups that are the two sides to the same coin of insecurity and anxiety. Which is why it's so lovely to watch them grow, together and individually, during this adventure. 5/5 Stars
💚 Touch her and 💀 💚 Grumpy x Sunshine 💚 Witch x Orc 💚 Forced proximity 💚 Age gap 💚 Talking animals 💚 Found family 💚 Orc village
If you’ve reached book six, you know exactly what you’re in for…..broody orcs, telepathic tension, and enough steam to fog up your glasses. Buckle up, because Bound to the Orc King delivers on all fronts: it’s spicy, swoony, and sprinkled with just enough magic and mischief to keep you turning the pages (and maybe even blushing a bit).
Meet Alarria and Aldronn—the kind of chemistry that could probably light up a small village on fire. She’s stubborn, he’s emotionally constipated, and together, they bicker, bond, and bang their way to happily-ever-after. And guess what? They’ve got telepathy—because why not hear each other’s horny thoughts in real time? Talk about romantic chaos with a side of psychic oversharing!
The world building continues to impress, though the magic system does sometimes feel a bit like it’s running on vibes. Plot-wise, nothing wildly unpredictable happens (evil god bad, moon goddess dramatic, the usual), but the characters and their growth carry the story like an orc carrying his swooning bride over the threshold.
Now, let’s talk about the standout moments. Alarria’s glow-up from hot mess to Moon Blade queen is simply epic, Aldronn’s internal “I’m an orc I don’t do feelings” crisis is hilarious, and Naomi is the ride-or-die bestie we all deserve.
In short, Bound to the Orc King has heart, heat, and hunky green men. It might not blow your mind with twists, but it might just make you text your ex and blame it on moon magic.
Final verdict: 4 out of 5 telepathic thirst traps. Highly recommended for readers who like their romance hot, their heroes horned (literally), and their fantasy with a cheeky wink.
I enjoyed the book and the series, but I'm sad that it came to an end. May was a tad immature with her rebellious streak, I get not wanting to be ordered around, but at the beginning she was being contrarian just to be contrarian ;) it got a little better later in the story, so I did end up liking her. May's sunny disposition and enjoyment of the adventure may have a part in it too ;) We've met Aldronn quite a few times earlier in the series, he was a honorable and very hands on ruler. He seemed a bit grumpy and too serious, so May was good for him. The poor guy was so dedicated to leading his people, that he never let himself slack off or even fall in love. When May met him he was 36 years old and thought that he was unable to fall in romantic love. Silly guy, he was falling for the fun loving human from the first time he saw her. The adventure they had together seemed like a very high stakes quest, there was the danger of encountering dark faes and a long way to travel through uncharted territory, yet at the end it all fell a bit flat. Aldronn almost died, so many people were killed in the conflicts during the last 300 years, people's souls were imprisoned by sluagh for that whole time, because the gods had a fucking spat. That made me irrationally angry ;) I'm sad that no more orcs got brides, I'd love to read stories about orcs from different villages, I was hoping for a Moon Bound Groom and a strong orc woman :( I'll see if king Severin's story will scratch the ich of silly fantasy romance for me ;)
The best monster romance I’ve read in years! The story, characters and world building are next level! So many books are kind of cookie cutter these days, but not this series! It’s so much more than saying the guys are orcs because their skin is green. There’s magic, history and world building. These last two books are so inventive, while still being funny and spicy!
Aldronn is our king daddy who’s used to giving commands. His dirty talk is next level, and he has two d_cks! Yes, two. He’s growly and possessive and perfect with May. May is a sassy and fun hot mess, and her growth in this book is beautiful. Their banter is the best, and the telepathic spice is spicing!
We get to see all the couples again and lots of my favorite side characters. As always, there’s so much fun banter with this group! The climax of the book is amazing! We find out who the Moon Goddess is! (No spoilers, you have to read it for yourself!)
This book is so good, I started rereading the entire series as soon as I finished because I didn’t want it to be over. I’m sad this is the last book but the ending is so satisfying that it makes me happy the series went out on a high note.
The final book in the Brides of the Moon Blade Clan is the perfect ending to the series. We discover why the human woman have been “gifted” as brides and the purpose behind releasing the magic on Earth. King Aldronn does not begrudge the happiness of the orc/human couples, but he can’t help secretly wishing for his own bride. When he receives the calling, he rushes to his bride’s side and finds himself captivated. May is a stubborn, hot mess who feels like she has never found her purpose or place in the world. Suddenly a large, hot and bossy Orc King is claiming her as his bride and her new power is allowing her to hear every dirty and sexy thought he has. How can she resist?
The book is fast paced and easy to read. The world building is amazing, the characters fun and relatable. I loved the humour and friendship that was throughout the entire series. The animals, now with dual forms were fascinating and the rivalry between them was amusing. I’m happy to hear the author is continuing with a new series and storyline from the same world. I will happily read everything and anything she writes.
Spice 3/5 This was my first Orc romance i was glad he spoke normal unlike a few alien romance where they speak choppy or almost cave man dumbed down. There was a lot going on ill admit I was fully ready to take on so much so be prepared there are a lot of characters from this realm and that one, world building I believe there are a few more books in this series but you don't need to read them there isn't a real cliffhanger but slightly.you will learn who her 2nd bff Hannah's mate will be and you can read their story.
There was a good balance between May and Aldaron's relationship, lots of needy sexy time and the sudden quest to free the moon goddess. Many details of what happened but they don't know why. The reason is pretty upsetting I'm with Luke the Dragon on that and the Dark Fae King, I think possible revenge could occur Might have to read more in the series just be prepared to have to invest in learning so many characters and realms etc. All in all I'm happy with it,both characters found internal growth with something they struggled with, and found it through one another.
4.5 Stars What an ending to the series. It was great "seeing the babd back together". After 7 books, it all came together. The brides and their husbands and allies working together for the final mission. There have glimpses of King Aldronn's longing for a Moon Bound Bride. It was nice that he got his. The king was so bound up in is duties that he thought he didn't know how to love and noone would see the man beneath the crown. May showed him otherwise. May was a woman who liked to pretend she was secure, but had a lot of doubts about herself. Aldronn showed his confidence in her abilities and knowledge. This pair really boosted each other. Aldronn was a really loveable man and leader. He led from the front, not the rear. May was okay, not a charactet I loved. Her steadfast determination to buck authority, for the sake of it came across as immature. Instead of being cute, it got old fast. I look forward to seeing what happens next in this world. The ending opened the door (pun intended) for a few possibilities.
After getting portaled to a fae world by the Moon Goddess, May finds herself rescued by none other than Orc King Aldronn. He says they've been fated together by the deity, but May isn't about to let some sky voice order her around. Aldronn may be the total package, but his thoughts are hyper-focused on her... and they're downright dirty. May's new telepathy powers let her hear the Moon Goddess' pleas for help. With the aide of the Moon Blade Clan, Aldronn's guards, some powerful allies, and their growing mental connection, May and Aldronn set out to free the Goddess and stop the dark fae from taking over all of Faerie.
This conclusion was worth the wait! We finally get the big reveal of the elusive Moon Goddess, and an explanation for the spontaneous portal adultnappings of the moon bound brides. I loved seeing all the previous stories' main characters, as well as the fantastic side characters, united on the adventure. The fun spice angle of the orcish anatomy is always a good time, too! I'm hoping that ending is hinting at some future returns to Faerie!
A thrilling end to the Brides of the Moon Blade Clan books and I really liked it.
I love the over arching world plot and am very interested in how the author continues into the next series. Although I'm glad she isn't beating the dead horse to death with this storyline and instead shifting it to a different arc.
I was not a big fan of the author really emphasizing how May was half Chinese. Mainly because it felt very forced (i.e. "Where do you think I'm from?" question). While I appreciate the author not sticking to only white female protag characters. For these types of stories, I feel like race shouldn't be a main focus just to prove that they're POC especially when race doesn't really matter given there's magical beings (orcs, sprites, water nymphs, talking animals. etc).
overall it was kind of an underwhelming ending but it makes sense I guess. I'm excited to read the next iteration in the "new" series. although I will probably eventually pick up this series to have in physical form.

I’ll be sad to see this series go, it’s been such a warm hug of a read.
Aldronn was maybe our grumpiest orc, but as King, he’s got so much pressure on him to lead and take care of his people. I can understand him being a little bossy (in and out of the bedroom…wink wink), and May is just the woman for that kind of bossiness. She challenges him in a good way.
Not only do they really talk about emotional issues, which is always wonderful…but can we discuss the spice? Let’s just say, Aldronn’s sex magic is one of the best ones yet.
This story gives us more answers about their home world and the moon goddess, and why all these witches have been systematically brought to Faerie. And after everything…I just want more. There are so many characters we’ve met, they all need their HEAs too, I have faith Krista Luna will deliver.
Aldronn has been this strong, even-tempered, ruling presence in all five of the previous books in this series. In each book, we got to see a little bit more of him, until all I could hope was he would get his own happy ending. Aldronn’s and May’s story is the finale to the series, and Krista made sure it goes out with an explosion rather than a whimper! I am in awe of her imagination, HUMOR, and the creativity it takes to craft these wonderful books into a series which has such a compelling arc. “I never saw it coming” is a phrase I say frequently when reading a Krista Luna book - in between the laughter, but this final book had me stunned! This finale was not only satisfying, but it set up the next series in a way that has me anxious for it to begin, even as I am sad to see the Brides of the Moon Blade Clan series end. Thank you, Krista, for always taking me on a FUN and captivating journey! No one does it better!
Aldronn and May round out this series really well. It fills in all the gaps and unknowns that have been alluded to over the series. May is one of Naomi’s friends who has been searching for her purpose all her life. So when she’s transported to the magic world, she actually settles in really quickly. She handled it better than anyone. Loved how she gave no shits about Aldronn and his status as well as how irreverantly she treated the moon goddess. But then again being tricked and yelled at to “find me” by the moon goddess will do that to you. Gotta say, it would suck to find out all the suffering and upset was because two gods had a marital spat. I think that while all the couples were good for each other and complemented each other, May and Aldronn really seemed to help each other be their best, healthiest selves. I do feel bad for the shadow fae and I’m curious how that will unroll in the follow up series. Heads up Hannah!
loved it !! love this series !!! love May and King Aldronn... waited so long for his story !!! this is their love story.. a fast paced fun action packed rom/com drama... May has travelled her whole life, looking for a place to belong.. she misses her mom, who was a wanderer at heart and told her stories of the land of Fairy... she gets a message from her best friend to come home asap... and she does but, she can't find her... she goes to her favorite place.. the waterfalls and ... ends up on Alarria with an orge on a standing stone and a guy with a crown on his head riding a unicorn.. is this real ? Aldronn is summoned by the moon goddess and goes to find his moon bound, he never thought he would get a bride ...and his first thought when he sees her ? well... so good !!! so funny !!! and we learn more about what really happened... this one is must read !!! and don't forget about Pizza !!! received this on an ARC, my honest review !!!
Oh what a way to end this series. I loved that we got to see everyone come back together for the big battle. I loved that we got to see Aldronn get his happily ever after. And I do love that the end of this book hints at more amazing characters and happily ever afters. Aldronn was simply wonderful. I loved his sense of duty and the care he had towards his people. And I love his whole hearted belief in May. May was also great. Yes she always had that instinct of “not obeying authority” but thankfully it never caused any major issues of safety and such. It was well written in my opinion. It just made her more determined on her course. But she had so much love to give and she really is a good match for Aldronn as she was able to show him that taking time for yourself? It isn’t always a bad thing. Great characters, love the story and the twists at the end. So looking forward to this next series hinted at!
Krista Luna never lets me down. I somehow got behind on this one, but I’m so glad I finally read it! The vibe in this book was a bit different and I loved that we got to see so many of our previous main characters more consistently 🥹
May and Aldronn are perfect for each other. I loved their chemistry and how May’s powers affected that. As usual, the others species in the series were lovable and entertaining. I can’t wait to see more of Severin!!
Read this if you enjoy: 💚 DP 🦄 Knotting 💚 Age gap 🦄 Talking animals
“There’s nothing that can’t be made better with potatoes, salt, and a shit ton of grease.”
“You’re the one who put the crown on me. Now obey your king.”
“You will always be mine. The stars can fall from the sky, and you will still be mine. A million suns can shine, and they will not rival the warmth and light you bring to my life. I love you with all that I am or ever will be. I’ll love you forever.”
This is another amazing read filled with all our astonishing orcs and their mates from previous stories.
I have read every book in this series and I am sure I am not the only one who was looking forward to seeing our grumpy king find his ever after.
This story though has the most umph. There's lots of a action and many moving parts that all need to intertwine. All the characters play an important roll but the most important ones are King Aldronn and May. There banter, innuendos and heat is off the charts.
This is a story that lures you in wholeheartedly. Page after page this intoxicating read will leave you wanting more.
Throughout this story, the action is overwhelming. Allies from all over the realm come together.
This is a story with a very HEA💜🔥 and a surprising twist/ cliffhanger 😱
I think that we all, to some extent have something of May within us. We project that we aee secure and yet the voices in our heads tell us different. While I do love a heroine who stands up for herself and won't let herself be pushed there are times when it seems as though May is being contrary purely for the sake of it. Aldronn is the grumpiest we have seen but he is not unlind or cruel. He hopes to lead by example and not from behind castle walls. He genuinely cares about his people which does put huge pressure on him.
This book had me in stitches too as the banter between these two was brilliant. I also didn't want it to end. This series was such a good one and if you haven't read the other books then please, please do. They are well worth it. There are also so many others who pop up and I want to know their stories as well. I hope that we have not left this world behind entirely.
This was so perfect🥺 All of my anticipation for the final book in Brides of the Moon Blade Clan series was done justice. I still don’t know who my favorite couple is. They’re all so special in their own way with different struggles. I really loved and related to May and Aldronn’s struggles. They made such an adorable couple!
Everyone coming together for the grand finale had my heart soaring! I loved seeing everyone again, and the over arching plot really picked up the heat. I was either swooning over May and Aldronn or on the edge of my seat through the action.
I’m SO excited for Faking With the Fae King! I cannot wait to read about Hannah finally. I’m hoping with my whole heart that we get an even bigger reunion eventually that includes Brokk. I’d feel like a kid in a candy store having all of my favorite Orcs back together again😍🖤
I absolutely LOVE this series! I get so focused while reading that I completely forget the world around me. I loose track of time. I enjoyed every single book in this series. Each story is so captivating and and unique! Reading it in order definitely helps follow the story along. This last book in The Moon Blade Clan series was just as good as the previous ones. I love how supportive is Aldronn of May and vice versa. They complete and balance each other out so well! They’re a team! I am so looking forward to the next series after this that will connect it to this one. I am super curious about the shifters and if they find their mates. I am curious as to what the next foe they all will face and what types of new alliances will be make. Amazing job Krista! Hands down has become a favorite series for me!
This was a great read! At this point I’ve read all of the books in this series so far — and been lucky enough to advance read most of them— and this one is most definitely my favorite!
I love May’s special power, it had me cracking up for most of the story. Aldronn is, by far, my favorite orc MMC in this series. And that’s really saying something because Dravarr was my guy for a really long minute! But Aldronn’s kindness and caring for others while shouldering immense responsibility as King really make him a great catch for May. His dirty talking abilities are just icing on that royal cake.
Per the author’s wishes, I won’t spoil anything about the story’s climax , but I WILL say that it is very creatively handled and had my jaw hanging open for a minute before it had me shaking my head and laughing.
I just love these books. If you like fantasy, romance, fae, orcs (and other magical creatures), fated mates, possessive and protective MMCs with spicy time skills and a commitment to the FMC’s pleasure, plus a happy ever after, then you will love these books, too.
I honestly can’t remember if the series will continue after this book but I really hope it does, because this one ends with a bit of a cliffhanger that’s SO good and just begs for more!
Each new release in this series has been better than the last, and this one is no exception.
Aldronn is the king of the orcs in Alarria. He always puts duty first and neglects his own wants and needs, as a good royal does. When he receives the call from the Moon Goddess to find his bride, he's ecstatic, but he's also worried. He's been lonely for so long that he's not sure he knows how to share his heart with another person, and he's scared he'll lose his bride because of it.
May is a woman with wanderlust running through her veins. No matter where she goes, she never feels at home. When she's suddenly uprooted from her life and thrust unceremoniously into the land of Faerie, she doesn't know what to expect. The handsome orc calling her his bride is something else altogether. At least she knows she can trust her new husband, thanks to her helpful power of telepathy. Will she be able to overcome her desperate need to wander and find a place in this new world at her king's side?
I really enjoyed how May and Aldronn communicated. They were able to discuss their feelings and help each other figure out how to work through things. It's a pretty healthy relationship, even if it developed quickly due to their mating bond. They were exactly what the other one needed, as has been the case in each book so far.
The plot of this one was really interesting, and I liked that there's a bit of a quest taking place! It helped to pull everything together. And, as always, the spicy scenes are really good. The telepathy aspect to those scenes is perfection. Gotta love a feedback loop!
Check this book out for yourself on Kindle unlimited. Happy reading!
*I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.*
Aldronn and May have officially claimed the top spot as my favorite orc/human couple in this series. He calls her “little queen,” and yes, I melted every single time. Their journey to love was slow-burn delicious, with just the right amount of tension, tenderness, steam, and some brat energy.
We finally get the full scoop on the Moon Goddess and her whole divine deal. It was worth the wait, and it tied all the books together in a way that felt magical and meaningful.
While I adored this book, a teeny part of me wanted just a bit more depth in a few scenes but honestly? It’s a minor thing in an otherwise epic ending.
If you’ve been loving the Brides of the Moon Blade Clan series, this one will leave you full of feels and hyped for the upcoming spinoff.
okay since king aldronn showed up i’ve been intrigued, but like i know we all were i really hoped it would be hannah, naomi’s main friend from the last book but it was may!!!! another friend of theirs who was traveling i loved the chemistry between them and finally getting an inside look to aldronn after 5 books, however i wasn’t a huge fan of may’s witch power, telepathy i think it was a neat way to wrap up the series with her being able to understand the elusive moon goddess (which like that ending??????? it’s so unpredictable but it makes sense with the humor and context of the story) but the intrusiveness and lack of boundaries was a bit crazy but as you all know, the orcs have magical studs above their genitalia and FINALLY and girly who wanted double P
