”Lucas makes me feel like the luckiest girl alive in ways I never expected. It’s in the little things—how his smile lights up when I walk into a room, the way his hand finds mine without thinking, like we were always meant to be. Lucky for us, we finally are”.
Thank you to Valentine PR and Carly for an ARC of this book, in exchange for my honest opinion. This was such a sweet ending to this series, that I’ve loved so much!
I have been waiting for Lucas and Charlotte to get together since the moment we met them!! It was so much fun to see them go from friends to lovers, with all the banter and adventures along the way. I love how Lucas was constantly building Charlotte up, and helping her to believe in herself. And the way he was so protective, but also respectful of her glucose monitoring was so sweet.
Their relationship was definitely the ultimate slow burn, but I just wish it all happened sooner so that we could see more of them together. It felt like by the time they finally ended up together the book was already ending.
It was so much fun seeing glimpses of this whole friend group, as they traveled the world together. I really enjoyed this series, and the characters Carly created and I am so sad it’s over now. If you’re a Sports Romance girlie, I def recommend adding these to your TBR!

Some of my favorite quotes:
“Like we’re magnets with no hope of fighting the pull, Lucas closes the distance between us, and when his breath ghosts over my face, I know there’s no maybe about what’s going to happen.”
“And fucking hell can Charlotte kiss. Her lips have haunted me for years, and now that I’ve had a taste, I’d give up a championship win for another.”
“I like you, Charlotte Grace Walker. I like you so damn much that somewhere along the way, I fell in love with you. And even if you don’t want to be mine, I’ll always be yours.”
“I mean thank you for being you. I’ve been to over fifty countries, but I’ve never felt more at home than I do when you’re around.”
