Stellar Heritage #1–4 omnibus

Stellar Heritage Boxset: The Complete Space Opera Series

It started with a single discovery. It ended with a war for humanity’s place in the galaxy.

When Simon and Katherine Hawke uncover a downed alien shuttle on Earth, they set into motion events that launch mankind into space. With a derelict ship in orbit and evidence that humanity is not alone, they rally a coalition of scientists, soldiers, and visionaries to form the Terran Alliance—a bold leap into the unknown, and a defiant stand against what’s coming.

As the Alliance expands, so do the threats. From brutal alien species like the Korvil to political sabotage from Earth's fractured governments, the fledgling interstellar power is thrust into a storm of interplanetary politics and intergalactic war. These are the early days of a galactic civilization—built by brilliant minds, hardened soldiers, and bold leaders who aren’t just fighting for survival, but to shape the future of humanity itself.

Through exploration, warfare, and fragile allegiances, the Terran Alliance pushes beyond the edge of known space—risking everything to stake a claim in the stars. One mistake could doom not just a fleet, but the future of Earth. With each victory, the danger grows and not all doors lead to peace.

For fans of The Expanse, Babylon 5, and classic Heinlein-era sci-fi, Stellar Heritage is a best-selling space opera box set packed with military action, alien encounters, and the birth of a new civilization in the cosmos.Contains all four books in the Stellar Heritage Legacy, Spheres of Influence, Far Horizons, and When One Door Closes. Join the Terran Alliance and forge a legacy among the stars.

About the author

Bob lived in Montana for over thirty years, since late '85. He fell in love with the state almost instantly (who wouldn't after spending the previous twenty or more years trapped in Houston, Texas). Out in the Big Sky Country, he found the “elbow room” he didn't even know he was looking for. He lived quietly with his two cats and library of nearly two thousand books--about ninety-five percent sci/fi. He discovered that he liked to write as well and could often be found doing just that. Bob passed away in November of 2019 and is survived by his younger brother. Before he passed, he finished his writing project of more than a decade, The Stellar Heritage series, and he will live on in the hearts and minds of his readers.

liked the characters development

liked the plot overall.

the scenario of the Alien's was good

for better or worse this author very (don't mean this in an entirely negative way) narrow mindedly gave the perspective of an American who was heavily influenced by 911.

I don't like that there was no closure on what one character did towards the end without being discovered by her friends. so that was a let down.

the lack of showing and kostly telling made me back away from the world building and made it harder to enjoy.

this read more like a report instead of a novel.

not enough humor in this book i think. would have loved more comedy relief and in the end the characters got stiffer and felt more distant than in previous chapters.

overall i enjoyed it

Extremely pointless and lacking sci-fi. This book was 90 percent anti American and anti male. The men were jerks or wimps. The US government was never to be trusted and the enemy. I kept waiting for the writer to get over the political nonsense and get on with the space story. There’s a few good science fiction chapters that are drowned out by useless dribble. They hate the military but then create their own without a single pilot or naval officer. As far as sci-fi it is weak and fails to well known established canon and science. There’s basically no point to the series other than girl power.

Boring

Daytime soap opera in space with a wagon train thrown in. Any bit of actual drama was stomped by innuendo and verbose pettiness including the bad guys who ultimately ran away to hide in a galaxy far far away to avoid the nauseous ending.
