Lieutenant Sierra Lancer left the special forces long ago, but the horrors of those years have never left her. When a former comrade asks for help, she must come out of retirement in Montana and step into the frozen hell of Bearcliff, Alaska. There, she uncovers a series of disappearances and a dangerous web of corruption that threatens to bury anyone who asks too many questions in the tundra. Soon, Sierra finds herself caught in a deadly hunt where the line between hunter and prey is dangerously thin. Lethal, unstoppable, and on the edge of the abyss, she will have to face not only unknown enemies but also her own ghosts. Because this time, the battle is not just for justice. Her survival is on the line. Although this book is a standalone novel, it is better understood if you first read Book 1 in the The Night You Disappeared.
This series is interesting. The characters are interesting and well developed. The bad guys are dirt bags there is no nice way to say it. I !I've seeing the good people win. Thanks
These characters, who are almost surreal, have captured my imagination and dragged me into their unrealistic (for most of us) world. The thought of the cold in both Montana and Alaska gives me chills in 80 degree weather, but hold my attention to the end.
