Good story but not great.

Dimitri and Hannah's story took a bit of time to get into. Dimitri is tortured, broken and left for dead before he is rescued. Hannah is tasked with becoming his nurse and physical therapist at his home. He and Hannah have a tumultuous relationship for a period of the book because of the long recovery that awaits him. All he can focus on and think about is getting revenge against the man who did this to him.

I had issues with timelines in this story. The author leads you to believe that Dimitri's recovery could take up to a year and yet he and Hannah are having sex in his bed at the compound, a short time after being discharged from ICU and the hospital. The time frame from start to finish is perhaps a two plus month time frame. The author does slow down the recovery process with Dimitri by the end of the book which made his recovery somewhat believable.

It wasn't a bad story but I grew very weary of Hannah and her sister. Hannah had been nothing but a doormat for years and when given the opportunity to get out of the clutches of her sister's wrath, she once again falls into the old pattern. Initially she doesn't answer her phone calls but then not only answers her calls, but gives her money (again) and then walks into a trap that nearly takes her life. Her character could be strong in some aspects, but just stupid in others. Her sister was toxic and dangerous with Hannah still caving to her sister.

The love story or relationship between Hannah and Dimitri was pretty standard for this kind of plot but was entertaining. I really wish that authors wouldn't end all these stories with an oops baby and just let the couple be a couple for a while.

This was a good story but i felt the end was rushed . There was an opportunity to develop the characters and their relationships more in the book. Seems that part was overlooked. Overall not a bad read.

It would be beneficial if you read the books before this one, to understand book 5 better.

I just love all these books, but this one really pulled me in, I could not put it down, read it in one sitting ! So packed with detail of a brutal, beautiful tale of redemption, survival and love born from wanting vengeance and salvation! Dimitri found that he could not hide his weakness for his nurse any more than Hannah could for him!
What a romantic conclusion! ♥️.

You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Hannah works as a nurse, long hours, tired all the time, she doesn’t mind her patients but coming home to a sister that makes her life stressful she is manipulative especially since their parent’s death. Hannah has been working since she was fifteen but heartbroken when she finds out her sister took every penny she worked long hours to earn leaving her broke with nowhere to go. Her friend offers her a place to live and a job working as a live-in caretaker. Dmitri sexy as all get out bratva who was held hostage by the bratva but while being held they did a lot of damage by the time he is rescued he needed a live-in nurse to assist with his recovery although, he fought it every step of the way but revenge kept him on the recovery track and he didn’t expect his nurse to capture his attention in a way that has him rethinking everything step he makes. Neither of them expects the magnetic pull between them the harder they try to stay professional the stronger the pull grows until the point they can’t resist each other but when her sister comes begging for money only it is a set led by the man who Dmitri wants revenge on he now has his girl that brings out another side of him will he save her in time, will he get his revenge as planned, will her sister get what she so much deserve, and are these two meant to find peace along with happiness?

I jumped into this series by Ava Gray with this book and realized it’s the last in the series. Dmitri and Hannah actually go through something tragic and meet for the first time in a precious book but I think the author did a good job revisiting what happened so you don’t feel like you’ve missed something. I did find it a little hard to keep up with Dmitri’s brothers and which spouse they had since I hadn’t read the other books but I am intrigued to go back and learn what happened to all of them!

Hannah is in a lose-lose situation with her living situation and abusive sister who keeps stealing her money. She keeps trying to find a way out and save money for her hopes and dreams to be crushed by her sister. And then she gets an offer she can’t refuse from an old friend who shows up unexpectedly! She decides to take a chance and work as a caregiver and rehab this patient that’s also given her a way out from her sister.

Enter Dimitri. Angry at the world and out for revenge! After getting beaten and tortured he only wants to focus on getting better and taking out the man who hurt him. And then Hannah becomes his nurse and he feels like he got gut punched. I like their banter and how she gives him sass and focuses on his physical therapy and tells him how it is. I like that she gets under his skin and makes him feel. The push and pull between the two is off the charts and he tries to intimidate her emotionally but she’s so innocent that she just wants feel and experience his touch. But his anger gets the best of him sometimes and I want to smack him! There’s no reason to be mean and take out your rage and hate on Hannah. That part I will say I didn’t particularly like. I feel like Hannah got away from her sister and that turmoil and ended up with a somewhat toxic relationship with Dmitri as well with his ups and downs until he gets it together.

As the story progresses, Hannah and Dmitri get closer together and she becomes more than a means to an end and he realizes he wants what his brothers have found. But Hannah’s sister is like a thorn that won’t be cut and keeps showing up and asking for more from her. You think Hannah’s done with her and then pop there she is again. And in one final hurrah she makes Dimitri’s enemy her friend and tries to bargain her own sister for her gain.

I did like watching Dmitri when it was time to finally go to war against the man who hurt him and finish it. He finally made a choice about what was important to him. And I liked to see him recovering and becoming a better version of the man he once was! In the end, he earned Hannah as his better half and the happily ever after they could have. But I wish we got to see more in the future with an epilogue!

Hannah continues to think about him months after the attempted abduction.
She is being dragged down by her elder sister who is involved with drug dealers, she refuses to get a job and makes Hannah's life miserable.
The final blow is when Melissa steals all the money she has been secreting away to finally leave her sister and their apartment.
She encounters Becca as she leaves the hospital who offers her a job taking care of Dmitri who was captured and tortured. He needs rehab and nursing care.
Dimitri and Hannah have a rocky start. He is not interested in rehab at the pace recommended. He only wants to get his revenge and kill Erik Avilov.
Hannah sticks with Dmitri despite his abrasive demeanor.
They end up becoming intimate, but she sneaks out of his room while he sleeps. They continue to bicker about everything,
She finally confesses to Dmitri that she is lonely and what her issues are with her sister. This sets the tone for the rest of their relationship.
She tries to help her sister out one last time, but it is a trap for a rival Bratva to kidnap Hannah.
There is a HEA ending with a twist.

This story had a complex plot with twists. The heat between Dmitri and Hannah is off the charts.
I could not put this one down.

Hannah and Dimtri

Hannah was mentioned in a previous book, she was the babysitter for Becca. She and Dmitri met when someone tried to takevthe baby she was watching. After this event, they both thought about each other at different points in their lives.

However, Hannah was dealing with a sister that took advantage of her financially and Dimtri is dealing with the fall out of the life he is living. Becca pops back into Hannah's life to ask fir help in providing medical assistance to Dimtri.

Dimtri is angry about what was done to him and is not cooperating with the medical staff as they try to help me. His behavior doesn't run Hannah off. She sticks with him and helps him as best she could.

They are attracted to each other, but they keep waiting on the other to make a move. They both want to be chosen. They both want to be loved and cared for. As, they grow into this they both adapt and change their wants, Dimtri believed he wanted revenge, but he chose differently. Hannah believed she couldn't find her voice with her sister, but Dimtri's support showed her just how wrong she was.

This was a really good series, however it covered topics and situations that may be taboo for some people.

This book starts out with an explosive beginning. The main character, Dmitri Valkov is an enforcer for his Bratva family. No one would imagine he would be kidnapped! For one week he was held, beaten within an inch of his life - broken bones, disfigured, two fingers removed, deep lacerations all over his body. He would survive but his recovery/recuperation would be lengthy. He was angry, violent and a rotten patient. Hannah is a nurse and a friend of Nadia’s. When Nadia sees her again she offers her a position taking care of Dmitri for an enormous salary and room and board. This answers Hannah’s dilemma with her sister; so she accepts. As I said Dmitri is angry, short-tempered, aggressive, intelligent, confrontational and heartless. Hannah is hoping she can hang in and collect her salary and move away when done. She is sassy, feisty, opinionated; but also compassionate, tender, caring, funny, skilled but a little naive or inexperienced in certain aspects of life. These characters bring a lot of emotions to the storyline. They are both strong individuals. You will feel their passion, steam and their eventual love. The story is filled with action, death, deception, suspense, secrets, manipulations and twists and turns. It is a really great story. I totally enjoyed it!.

Ava Gray has done it again with Trapped by the Bratva!!! This book was exciting, suspenseful and filled with angst and spice. I devoured this book in one day and was sad when Hannah and Dmitri’s book vance to an end. I have enjoyed to the Valkov Bratva serious and this book has to be my favorite in this series. The storyline was heartbreaking, original and page-turning. The angst and spice in this book was face fanningly hot!!! The characters were complex, had heartbreaking backstories and an intense and undeniable chemistry. The conflict in their lives was better than All My Children!!!

I loved both characters strength and determination. Hannah was strong and independent. I loved her quick wit and sassy attitude. Dmitri was stubborn and broody. He was gruff, scary and had a dirty mouth. I loved their chemistry it was like a powder keg exploding there was not fuse just an explosion. I loved their banter and clap backs they both have each other. What an exciting and fun book!! I can't wait to see what chess next from Ava Gray!!.

Hannah's life as a nurse is hard, long hours and always tired but that doesn't end when she arrives home.
Malissa has manipulated her life since there parents death, sending Hannah out at the age of fifteen to find work.
Hannah finds out Malisa had emptied her back account leaving her with nothing and nowhere to go.
Bumping into a good friend friend who offers her a live in job as a live in nurse is a life line.
Her patient is the one man who was kind to her months ago but now knows his name Dmitri.
He had been held hostage he was rescued but not before the damage to him was severe, and although he didn't want a nurse he really needs help to recover so he can get his revenge.
Hannah has a hard job to to but they settle into a routine that led to them sleeping together but was it love or just sex.
Hannah's sister is back begging money again but she has set her up, money means more to her than a sister.
Men lay in wait for her to turn up led by the man Dmitri wants revenge on, he now has Hannah.

may this love never find me.

Honestly it was not honestly it wasn’t an awful story up until about the 210s as he literally assaulted her and she just wakes up cool with it… I mainly read this due to the pregnancy but I’m disappointed with how late in the book it occurred. I would’ve much rather seen more pregnancy and less assault but I guess that’s just me. The author also mixes up characters at times and the fact we don’t see him apologizing about how he’s treated her is just disappointing. Like why is there the promise of her leaving her abusive family only for her to settle for a different person who is toxic. If the author could learn how to properly warn people that mmc graphically assaults fmc that would be cool because I wouldn’t have read the book had I known. ESPECIALLY since you see mmc having guilt over “potentially taking advantage of her” when she is very clearly consenting but then he is just really cool about taking advantage of her not being able to fight him or tell him no?!

Hannah is having a hard time in life. Her sister is terrible to her and steals from her. She was studying to be a nurse when she was knocked out during a babysitting job. Dmitri finds her and takes her to the hospital.

Hannah's sister has stolen all her money so she is desperate. She sees an old friend who tells her about a job as a live in nurse. She takes the job and sees that it is the man who was kind to her before. She now knows his name is Dmitri. Dmitri had been taken hostage and damage was done to his body. He can only think of getting his revenge.

Hannah works to help Dmitri recover and they become closer since they are having to live together. I love how they had so much chemistry. I love how he would do anything to protect Hannah. She brought out the good side in him.

You will enjoy this book if you love action and suspense as well as romance.

I don't think this title fits the book but i got over that really quick. It is the story of a young woman who was going to nursing school until someone tried to kidnap the little girl she was babysitting and gave her a nasty hit to the head which caused severe headaches. Once they went away she started working as an nursing assistant at the hospital so that she could support her older sister.
Dmitri is one of the Volkov Bratva and after he was captured and severely beaten but an opposing family. When he insisted he could heal better at home he was released. But was so grumpy that all of his therapists quit.
In comes Hannah. This is great for her because it is live in and she can finally get away from her lazy thief of a sister.
Great storyline and characters that keep you involved in the story.

When revenge gets complicated

Trapped by the Bratva is the sixth book in The Valkov Bratva series. Hannah Durmont and Dmitri Valkov are on fire from the start, and they may just burn everything around them before the book ends. He has revenge on his mind and is plotting it all the time. She just wants to escape her manipulative and thieving sister, making a life for herself that is peaceful. Hannah is hired as a live-in nurse and therapist for Dmitri, as he is not able to take care of himself and needs assistance in his healing process. What sparks between them burn bright from the start but will they be able to have any type of future when all he wants is revenge, and there is still danger surrounding them. There is a surprise from their time together that will make Dmitri change in ways he had not thought before. Hannah is his and all that that future together will bring he is not about to let slip away.

Wow wow wow what a read, this book was so good. I was hooked from the beginning, I liked how this book seemed to continue from the end of the last book. I remember when Dmitri was missing and found again. The things he must have been through and through Ava's writing you can feel what state of mind he's in. You feel like you are there as this book was so well written. I totally understood why he was so angry. I loved that Hannah and Dmitri had met before so they both remembered each other and there was an attraction there too. I like how Hannah gave as good as she got and how she didn't let him get to her too much, and never quit like others had before. Hannah and Dmitri are so good together the chemistry was on fire. I loved the twist at the end, I didn't see that coming at all and neither did Hannah until it was too late. This is such a great book. Highly recommend.

I've only read one other book in this series and now it's finished Ill have to get my hands on the rest of the books now.

Hannah (FMC) is working all the hours she can to keep her head above water and take care of her lazy, money grabbing sister - Melissa. So when a job offer comes her way with great pay she jumps at the opportunity. Only the job is taking care of Dmitri who is living with the aftermath of being tortured. Which has left him gruff, grumpy and anti-social to everyone apart from his family. So he's not a great patient but I loved the back and forth they had together with the smart remarks between both of them. I actually liked their relationship.

For me though Hannah and her sister, that dynamic brought the story down for me. She just did my head in to be honest. I just wanted Hannah to completely cut her out of her life from the start of the book but I understood why she couldn't. Overall though this was a great read.

Trapped by the Bratva delivers exactly what dark romance lovers crave. Dmitri Valkov is cold, lethal, and emotionally wrecked. Hannah is the nurse who saves him, challenges him, and ends up carrying his baby after one unforgettable night.

Their chemistry is immediate and electric. Dmitri might be a spy for the Bratva, but he’s also a man who will raze the world to protect what’s his. *SWOON* Hannah is no shrinking violet. She’s smart, resilient, and surprisingly bold once the stakes rise.

This book packs in everything. Forced proximity, enemies to lovers, surprise pregnancy, and a forbidden bond that turns into something real. The action is sharp, the emotion runs deep, and the heat? Absolutely feral in the best way.

Hannah never forgot the man who saved and baby Emily from a kidnapping attempt. Dimitri is recovering from being tortured (Captive by the Bratva), his thought is not of recovering but of revenge against the man who did this to him. He has gone thru several home nurses and his brothers are concerned about him. When Hannah is suggested by Becca, little does she know it comes a time when Hannah needs it.

Hannah is broke, her sister found a way to get into her hidden bank account and cleaned it out. A live in nurse position with the Valkovs is just what she needs to get away from her.

The attraction between her and Dimitri is there from the first meeting. He is angry and at times cruel to Hannah, he feels guilty afterward. This was the last in the Valkov and a great end to the series.

Hannah and Dimitri

The final book in this series. Hannah and Dimitri had previously met in the 2nd book, Becca’s and Ivan’s story. Hannah was Becca’s babysitter friend who Dimitri helped and took to the hospital after she was attacked. Then Dimitri was taken, tortured and mutilated and Hannah was hired to take care of Dimitri during his home recovery.

I eventually loved these two together but I didn’t like how needy and really clingy Hannah was. I get that she had no one else in her life she can depend on but at times, she got really pushy with Dimitri. Dimitri was a grump and focused on revenge so it took time for him to think more of Hannah as just his therapy and f*** buddy.

This was a good book to end the series, but I just wish Hannah was a little stronger and less needy.

Hannah’s life is hell, her sister, steals from her and that is the not the only evil thing she does to her. Unable to finish her nursing degree due to headaches caused when she tried to stop a friends baby getting kidnapped.
Dmitri has been just rescued by his brothers after he was nearly killed and badly hurt. He has gone through so many carers there should be a revolving door. That is until Hannah is recommended, the woman he saved months ago.
She has sass and stands her ground to his surly and hostile ways. He is the man she wants and he finds Hannah is his light, and does he fight it.
These two are steamy, have angst, drama all in one hour.

Perfect.

This is the final story in the Valkov Bratva Series with Dimitri finds himself injured almost beyond repair and Hannah the physical therapist his family hires to help him recover. Being friends with Dimitri’s sister in law gets her the job and a way to escape her controlling and horrible sister is just what she needs expecting a patient who is not happy being told what to do. Dimitri is a proud man who takes what he wants even injured and Hannah becomes his and their steamy relationship is one to worship, keep and protect. When danger and chaos finds the Valkov family and those they protect and love the brothers do what is necessary for justice and sweet revenge! victims? some spoilers

Both main characters were victims of themselves. If the MFC was smart enough to be in nursing school how could she not protect her bank account from her sister. If the MMC was so injured he couldn't cut his chicken how did he have the strength to pull her into bed and have oral sex the first time they met, trashy. The author seem to have a hard time linking this juvenile story together. It did not hold my interest and I scrolled through the book. Although I do like the Virgin trope in this book it was just rushed over so quickly it was lackluster. Just my personal opinion I really disliked the word darling it seemed like a French preppy high schooler rather than a mafia man. I really didn't care for this book that someone else might like it.

Trapped By The Bratva is book 5 in The Valkov Bratva series and is Dimitri and Hannah's story. This relationship begins as a means to an end for both of them but fate had other plans. Dimitri comes to Hannah injured and at deaths door and her sole job is to fix him. As a "nurse" that's a tall order but she does her best and succeeds. Hannah is already an accepted member of the Valkov family and she's also forbidden. But that just makes things all the sweeter when Dimitri finally does get what he wants. Their journey is full of excitement, drama, danger and chaos and sooooooooo much heat between these two. Trapped By The Bratva is a fantastic wrap up to this fantastic series

I am in love with the Valkov brothers. This is sad because this was the fifth and final brother's story. But we'll worth the wait and the read.

Hannah is mentioned in a prior story and she gets her own HEA with Dimitri. The passion between them is hot as is the bantering and arguing.

All of the storylines are wrapped up with every brother getting his HEA. Even though this is the fifth story, it can be read as a standalone. Past story info os given when needed.

Trapped by the Bratva

Dmitri and Hannah

Both MCs have their own hell to escape--Hannah from her sister and Dmitri from his anger over his broken body. Hannah is hired as a physical therapist and nurse to help Dmitri who resents feeling helpless and has gone through numerous employees. Hannah is strong enough to put up with Dmitri and Dmitri is sensitive enough to know what she needs. A fitting finish to this series about the five brothers of the Volkov Bratva.

Dmitri and Hannah's story may be the last in this series, but it has just as much if not more drama and action packed into it as in the previous books. As one of the Valkov brothers, he's been recovering from injuries and Hannah has been picked to nurse him back to health. With the other brothers and their families too, this is an action packed read with enemies and plenty of steam and grumpy/sunshine energy.

Dmitri was taken hostage and beaten close to death when he was recused. Now home with his family he was miserable and just wanted revenge. He was bitter and chased any medical help away until Hannah was recruited to help him. The job for Hannah came at the right time since her sister stole all her money and she no longer had the cash to get away. Seeing each other was a shock as neither of them could get each other out of their heads since that one night.

The whole series should be read as the plot was continuous throughout. Ever since Hannah was rescued by Dmitri from previous book, he was all she can think of. Now he is back in her life as she nurses back to health after he was finally found. The plots and characters were good. It was the ending that was a bit anticlimactic for me. Still a good series.

Dmitri Valkov was tortured and meant to die - Nadia saved him. Countless surgeries later he is focused on vengeance and getting better for vengeance. Hannah is desperate to escape and when Becca offers her an opportunity, she is grateful for her friend and amazed to find the man who protected her when she was attacked during Emily's kidnapping. Together can they save each other or will vengeance win?
