Will they finally make it to the big day? Of course, what could possibly go wrong? 😉 Reuniting with their friends and their partners you will see the trials and tribulations that Tania and Trey encountered prior to their big day. Lots of laughs, some enlightening moments and some difficult decisions to make.

Tania woke up on her wedding day feeling a sense of doom, little did she know. One disaster after another makes you wonder if the ceremony will even happen. I enjoyed the characters and their collection of very interesting suggestions.

One disaster after another threatens to destroy Tania and Trey’s wedding day. Tania begins to feel that maybe, they weren’t meant to get married, after all. Trey just wants to make her his wife, no matter where the actual ceremony takes place. Just when things seem impossible, Tania realizes that she needs to pull up her big girl panties and pull off, not the perfect wedding but the one for her and Trey.

Trusting Trey is the 5th book in the Love and Other Calamities RomCom series by Cindy Proctor-King. While I enjoyed Trusting Trey, I found it a little slow. The characters are great and the story has its funny moments but it’s basically a lot of different characters scrambling to make a wedding happen, after the church burns down. There are some super sweet interactions between the two main characters, and the ending is satisfying, I just kept thinking if they were ever going to get married.
Apparently, this book is the culmination of the first four books in the series, which I wasn’t aware of and, I expect that readers will enjoy it more if they’ve read the others first. That being said, I would still recommend Trusting Trey as a fun, engaging read but I need to go read the first books now.

This is a very sweet story! I haven't read other books in the series, which I believe may contain a build up of Trey & Tania's relationship within the other couples' stories, but I wasn't lost at all.

Tania gets some unexpected news at the beginning of the story & she & Trey have quite a bit of calamities to navigate before they say "I do!" I love the way they work through each unexpected event. Their love for each other shines through & it was a fun read!
