I liked this book, but that's about it. It was good enough to read, but it didn't make me feel excited or anything like that.
The story was easy to follow and the characters were fine. But I think something was missing. It was interesting while I was reading it, but after I finished, I didn't think about it much.
This book is okay if you want something simple to read. It's not bad, but it's not amazing either. If you have free time and nothing else to read, you can try it.
I would give it to people who like easy books and don't want something too complicated.

If you love Mafia romance, definitely try this series.
I already loved Rory from the previous book, he came across as this silent, intense type and in this book?..Kiara’s soulmate.
From the first meeting itself there was insane chemistry between them. It felt like them against the world.
I couldn’t stop reading their story.
This book had all the hit ingredients. Amazingly written, Yearning, drama, angst, obsessed hero, some push and pull, a strong plot and vile villain.
I especially loved Shane Gallagher. Even though I know it’s not going to happen but I hope he gets a book too.
Despite enjoying it very much I didn’t give it more stars because, although Kiara was innocent and very sweet, I was hoping for a little more fire from her during climax scenes.
I also wanted a better equation between Finn and Rory. Because there was so much tension between them, the friendship was lacking.
Ending felt a but rushed but you can bet yourself that I’m definitely going to read more from this author.

Mafia! Yes this is side character Rory’s story and follows the rival mafia gang that has been attacking the Kings. Rory is tech and love that he’s getting more spotlight and of course a twisty relationship! The story closes up the guesses of who was attacking the family (all for it) and just intense final chapters. Loved!

¿Que puedo decir de esta saga de libros? Me he leído los primeros 3 incluyendo este (la autora me los mando de ARC en español) así que los voy conociendo cuando llegan a mi bandeja, yo tengo claro que Riley & Finn son mis número 1 más que nada porque con ellos conocí este universo mafioso y eso es suficiente para amarlos además de que su historia lo es TODO
¿Pero que pasa con Kiara & Rory? Pues en pocas palabras los amo, enserio escalaron en el segundo lugar porque fueron muy importantes para mi y para la trama es que enserio la autora se dejo lo mejor para el final (like que aún faltan libros) pero quien cuenta….
Rory & Kiara tienen esa química explosiva que te atrae a ellos como un imán de verdad desde el momento en que lees su primer encuentro no hay marcha atrás lo que más desea uno es que acaben bien (esto es final feliz garantizado) este libro tiene de todo en especial uno de mi clichés favoritos que es captor/cautiva además de que Rory es un autentico caballero (dentro del mundo mafioso si pero el haría todo por su dama) este es el tipo de “dark romance” por el que yo vivo y el que recomiendo ampliamente
Todo el asunto del arte (que ella es Libertas) el maltrato que vive ella por parte de los de Luca (aunque es familia directa de sangre) como se maneja cuando el se entera me dolió poquito pero tampoco hizo tanto drama eso si, pero más allá la trama “principal” que sigue con los pasados dos libros (es que todo se va entretejiendo hasta consolidarse aquí) es por eso que si quieres leerlo debes hacerlo en orden para que no te pierdas ningún detalle
Yo ampliamente recomiendo este libro como todo lo que ves aquí en mi perfil, enserio ve y léelo ¡no te vas a arrepentir te lo prometo!

The story was okay, but could have been better.
Kiara and Rory's story is an uphill battle until the very end of this book. Finn and Shane's characters are as obnoxious in this story as they were in Harper and Cian's story. The only victim in this story is Kiara caught between a family that she has been trained to believe are pure evil and the DeLuca's that are pure evil. I grew weary of Rory trying to prove himself to the Kings while trying to find out who Kiara really is. She was understandably not forth coming considering that she was the bastard daughter of the dead Don and half sister to the now leader of the DeLuca's. She and her mother had been held hostages their entire lives, forced to forge artwork for the DeLuca's. Leo, Kiara's half brother was a monster that just kept growing heads.
There is allot of back and forth between are main characters while the King's and the DeLuca's keep adding to the drama. Communication and trust are tossed around like a ball throughout this book which grew tiresome for me because of so much interference from Finn and Shane. I disliked both characters in Harper and Cian's story which only grew in Rory's story. I think the story could have been much better if those characters had not been such a main part of the story. They interfered too much and were judgmental of not only Rory, but of a woman they knew nothing about, but considered an enemy. Their ride or die for only the King family was not only hypocritical but over stated throughout the book.

😍 Por otro lado, Rory es lo que yo llamo un protagonista roto, de moral gris, pero con un corazón noble que esconde para poder mantenerse fuerte y sobrellevar todo aquello que lo atormenta.
🤓 La historia se lee muy rápido, no sentí que tuviera relleno y, aunque todo se desarrolla un poco de prisa, no dejan nada inconcluso. Además de acción y romance, deben saber que, aunque es un libro de mafia, no contiene escenas de violencia demasiado fuertes; eso sí, es bastante descriptivo en las partes spicy. La verdad, fue justo lo que necesitaba, ya que estaba entrando en un bloqueo lector con otro libro y este llegó para despejarme la mente.

Leer los libros de esta autora son un viaje de ida. Ideales si están en bloqueo lector o no tienen ganas de leer algo pesado. Entretenidos, fáciles de leer. Hombres hermosos que son increíbles con sus mujeres.

Rory is stunned when the beautiful redhead he noticed at an auction suddenly runs into his arms asking for protection. Acting on impulse, he claims her as his own and convinces himself she might be the key to bringing down the Italian family responsible for killing his men.
The setup is tense and dramatic, built on fear, desperation, and fast decisions. Watching Kiara struggle to survive while Rory balances attraction with strategy gives the story a constant edge. It is a dark mob romance that leans heavily into danger and possession, with a heroine trying to stay one step ahead of a past that refuses to let her go.

Well, well, well… this series just keeps getting better and better.
I really enjoyed Stolen Temptation. Renee Parker masterfully blends dark themes with heart, and this installment hit all the right notes for me.
Kiara has endured a life of torment: used and imprisoned by her mafia family, the De Lucas, who exploited her and her mother. When her cousin becomes don, he plans to auction her off. So, she runs.
Straight into Rory, a hot stranger who kisses her breathless and helps her escape. But he’s no savior. Rory is a tech specialist for the Irish Kings, sworn enemies of her family. He was sent to steal a high-value target, and unknowingly finds it in Kiara.
Their story unfolds with twists, betrayal, secrets, and emotional firsts. I loved that Kiara didn’t trust blindly; she questioned, fought, and held her ground. Rory is loyal, protective, and beautifully broken. Their chemistry builds slowly but intensely.
As in the earlier books, some overthinking from both characters slightly slowed the pace, but the final chapters were gripping and emotional, with a satisfying conclusion. I also guessed the mole’s identity since Book 1 😉😉 but it was still a solid payoff.
📌 Minor inconsistency: In Chapter 9, Kiara assumes Rory and the Kings see her as weak—before she actually knows she's been taken by them. A small detail, but noticeable.
Overall, this was a dark, emotional ride about love, freedom, and survival. Solid 4.5 stars from me. I can’t wait to see where the Irish Kings go next.

I really wanted to love this book… but sadly, it missed the mark for me.
While the writing style was smooth and easy to read, I couldn’t feel the chemistry between Rory and Kiara. I was hoping for more emotional connection, but it never quite got there.
I started skimming around 60%, the abrupt “to be continued” ending — with no epilogue and only a HFN — left me unsatisfied.
Something was missing, and it just didn’t fully deliver for me.
While the writing style was smooth and easy to read, I couldn’t feel the chemistry between Rory and Kiara. I was hoping for more emotional connection, but it never quite got there.
I started skimming around 60%, the abrupt “to be continued” ending — with no epilogue and only a HFN — left me unsatisfied.

El ritmo es rápido, siempre pasan cosas y la química entre Kiara y Rory es una COSAAAA🔥 desde que se ven hay candela, chispa, fuego y llama.
Y aunque ella estuvo cautiva toda su vida, nunca se deja — siempre tiene “menudo” para Rory (respuestas), y eso gusta.

Wow!
Book 3 in the Irish Kings Series. Although it says it can be read as a standalone. The books must be read in order in my opinion. The ending of this book is so much sweeter when you have the content of the previous 2 books.

I was not disappointed in this book. I love a good tragic backstory. The harder it pulls at my heartstrings the more I love it. This book satisfied that craving.
Kiara, like her mother before her, is a Painter exploited by her family Forced to create works of art until her father dies and the new Don plans to sell her to the highest bidder. That is when she knows she has to escape. During her escape she asks for help from a stranger, only to get kidnapped.
Rory's assignment is to infiltrate the action and steal their rival's most valuable asset to use it as leverage. He ends up stumbling upon Kiara. He can't keep away from her. He knows she is keeping secrets and can't trust her but he can't help falling for her.
I liked that the Author balanced the love story with the underlying plot of the series. Trying to find the mole in their organization while going to war with the De Lucas. The pace was steady. The "slow"parts were necessary for the development Kiara and Rory's relationship. The Author also did and incredible job at showing why the characters are slow to trust in each other outside of being "enemies ". Rorys past failed relationship that ended is betrayal, and Kiara's abusive family where women are not treated as first class citizens. Not to mention the fact that she is hiding her true identity for fear of being killed or sent back to her family.

Stolen Temptation
Book three in the series has all the great tropes. Enemies to lovers, forbidden love, betrayal, virgin FMC, alpha protective MMC. Kiara and Rory are forced together as she runs from her abusive family, literally into the arms of Rory. Definitely recommend this entire series, you won't be disappointed.

The plot line and Kiara’s backstory were engaging, but I can’t with v-card spice.
All of the “to be continued” endings with no real follow up on the past couples without fully wrapping up their stories in their own books is starting to make me feel bamboozled by this author.

El tercer libro de la saga sigue a Rory, uno de los ejecutores de la mafia irlandesa y el más “nerd” del grupo. Siempre fue el que se encarga de la tecnología, la investigación y todo lo que tenga que ver con rastrear información, así que su historia empieza justamente cuando, investigando a la familia De Lucca, encuentra algo que le llama la atención y lo termina llevando a infiltrarse en una subasta organizada por ellos.
Ahí es donde aparece Kiara, y donde la historia toma un giro que sinceramente me sorprendió bastante. Dentro de los romances de mafia uno ya está bastante acostumbrado a ciertas dinámicas y tropos, pero la historia de Kiara es algo que personalmente nunca había leído antes. Todo lo que rodea su pasado, su familia y el rol que tuvo que ocupar durante años dentro de ese mundo es muy distinto a lo que suele verse en este tipo de libros. Especialmente todo lo relacionado con su madre y con la vida que ambas tuvieron que llevar es un concepto bastante original dentro del género, y fue probablemente una de las cosas que más me gustó de la historia.
El encuentro entre Rory y Kiara se da en medio de un contexto bastante peligroso, porque la guerra entre las familias sigue escalando y los De Lucca siguen siendo una amenaza constante para todos. A partir de ese momento ambos quedan atrapados en una situación complicada donde tienen que confiar el uno en el otro mientras intentan sobrevivir a todo lo que está pasando alrededor.
Me gustó mucho Rory como protagonista. Comparado con los otros hombres de la saga, tiene una personalidad bastante distinta: sigue siendo parte del mismo mundo violento de la mafia, pero su forma de pensar es mucho más analítica y estratégica. Eso hace que su dinámica con Kiara se sienta diferente a las parejas anteriores.
Además de la historia romántica, el libro también sigue desarrollando el conflicto general de la saga: las tensiones con la familia De Lucca, los ataques contra la organización y la sospecha de que hay un traidor dentro de la mafia que está filtrando información. Todo eso se va mezclando con la historia de Rory y Kiara y hace que el ritmo del libro sea bastante rápido.
El final vuelve a dejar algunas cosas abiertas, algo que parece ser bastante típico en esta serie, y el epílogo funciona más como una transición hacia el próximo libro que como un cierre completo para la pareja. Aun así, la historia de Rory y Kiara me gustó mucho, sobre todo por lo diferente que se siente el pasado de ella dentro de este tipo de romances.
