This was compelling. The author has a way of drawing you in emotionally to the story and the tension of mother daughter relationships. It flows easily and was a light read that also made me think. To know that it is based on her family made it even more real. I really enjoyed it and hope she publishes more!

I just finished reading Author, Sandy Branna's first book, ‘Becoming Invisible.’

It was very heartfelt and very moving. It really made me think about my relationship with my own mother. And even with my own children. Although, I don’t have a daughter I could relate in a lot of ways.

It really makes you think about life and how every moment is precious and seeing how the beauty of making memories that will stand the test of time is a true and valuable gift.

Such a profound read that reminds every mother of the unwavering, undeniable, and the unbreakable bond of a Mother and her love for her children.

Thank you sharing your heart and your story Sandy. ♥️

I received a free copy of this book for my review.
This book just broke my heart in two! This hits home for me because I have 2 daughters and I personally know how important communication is. Many times during this book I found myself telling Ella and Catherine to just talk to each other! I love how the author takes the reader back in time as she goes through old photos. This book did leave me wanting a little more at the ending. I felt that I needed to know a little more about the meeting with her granddaughters at the end but overall I enjoyed this book.

This is a beautiful debut novel from Sandy Brannon, full of the very poignant love between husband and wife, mother and child. It addresses the questions many moms ask at times...am I doing enough? Am I doing this right? This book is emotional and heart-wrenching at times, but I finished it with renewed determination to appreciate my family life and create the mother-child relationships I really want.
