Dead Fall

Rate this book
Clyde Ferguson is of Social Security age. He owns and operates a window-washing service in a metropolitan city. He finishes work early one Saturday, and stops for a bite to eat after work. While there, he learns some tragic news.

One of his friends has suffered a terrible accident; the incident is so serious that word of it travels to the ears of nearly everyone who’s familiar with the local tavern called The Legless Horseman.

When word of the accident reaches Clyde’s buddies, shock turns to confusion, and then their grief spurs them into action. Learn how they bond together and promote the memory of their beloved friend, another city dweller who thinks hardly anybody knows or cares about his existence.

In this short story, you’ll discover how each urban resident’s life has a direct effect on others who live and work in the same busy neighborhood and share a familiar haunt.

You may know somebody who’s an easy fit for a lifestyle like this…perhaps it’s you.
