“Honor the Code and you’ll rest in your next life!” they said...
“It’ll be fun!” they said...
Now why didn’t they tell me I’d have to get married and be responsible for a whole Noble Family of my own, with a bunch of obligations and all the crap I have to deal with now!? Could I get reborn back into a Hunter again, please!?
The only review and complaint i have with this series....Never Enough!!!! and...too long for next book. -sad- But seriously, it is a great series. Humor, adventure, op pets, more threads than a 1000 count Egyptian sheet with a hole in it. Here is to waiting patiently for the next book to release by checking on it every week.....day or so. -grin-
I have read a lot fiction in my day and enjoyed this series quite a bit. That being said, I will never start another of this authors sets again. 8 buck a pop is beyond the pale. When print books still cost 8 dollars each I winced but understood the cost of creating and binding to paper and taking the chance of selling off produced stock. Ebooks are not held by these limitations and conditions. In the days of print: authors made from 35 to 55 cents a paperback book sale at 8 bucks a pop. Ebooks have the most negligible costs for production, i.e. website distribution, and no real overhead. Most of the profit goes to the author unless they are being raped by the editor/producer. 2 - 5 bucks at a maximum for a good product. Check out BAEN publishing. The early days of their startup website set my values in stone. Everyone has gotten too damn greedy. Yes the works are good. Hell, better than most mainstream crap I've read lately! But y'all done priced it beyond me. I'll wait for the pirated copies. Good luck!
The MC continues to be under attack from many different places and has to fight off the people who don’t wish for him or his line to succeed. Another interesting pet is added to the mix with the rat commander. And the MC seems to finally be settling down with his proposal to Anna. He of course goes into a rift where all hell breaks loose and he has to protect his team. While he’s trapped in the rift his close friend is under attack and just as things seem to be calming down he gets news that his manor is soon to be attacked as well.
The story has plenty of action and adventure, plenty of fantasy and sci-fi elements with humor as well. I will definitely continue to read this series.

This is the seventh in the series and I got to say I love how this author's tells a fantastic story. The MC is great and I love his style and charisma. But his supporting animal menagerie, will blow you away from a Honey Badger "Dumbass", and a One Eyed Rat "le général", and of course his trusty sidekick Shnoop "i eat cream". If you want a good laugh I highly recommend this series.
Good action, but some questionable decisions by the Mc, who constantly runs of to have „fun“ in a new battle, but leaves his people behind while still in a war with a count. Anna and Alex have finally started dating! Two books too late, but better late than never. Only for some reason he seems to be afraid of having sex now. Katarina got introduced. Interesting character. This time Alex quickly escalates the relationship. Talk about personality inconsistencies…
One of the few series where each subsequent book is better than the last! We start with a bang and end with one too! The next book can’t come fast enough!
I just feel like he doesn't get rid of enemies, he gets more enemies, and no real progression in that department. Which is really annoying. Love Odin though
Love this series yet hate it at the same time. Love reading the series. I hate waiting for the next book! This book is fast moving. If you occasionally skip paragraphs, you will find you have missed a crucial point,. Be warned.
I think every reader needs to start doing this to force authors to write a quick Recap chapter, which readers can skip if they remember, and those who don't won't stop reading the series.
This book had a TON of action and adventure! Really fantastic. More creatures. More characters, a heck of a lot of intrigue. I could not put this book down. On to the next book!
Another outstanding read. Looking forward to book 8 currently scheduled to be released in March. Hopefully sooner. His other series are also worth reading.
Wow! Amazing progression in this book. We have future marriages to discuss and as well Alex is being attacked on many fronts. He would love to protect his family and is having a hard time of it.
The plot thickens. I found it hilarious how many mighty enemies Xander attracted by now and how he kept dealing with them.. There is so much action in this book! It makes me thirst for the next book already..
Just finished my arc of this particular book, I completely understand Why the other guy give it 3 stars. It ends right as the action starts picking up. It is a good piece of the series, It puts out lots of threads for future books. I look forward to the continuation of this series.
I sent in my list of corrections, hopefully they'll all be fixed before publication and you will enjoy a smoother read. As you may know I only check for how good the translation is from Russian to English, so I probably missed some mistakes. If you find one just let them know and it will get fixed.
I received a review copy of this book. The Hunter's Code book 7 is the next book in the series, and it's a good one. Not to mention the ending promises us lots more adventure in the next book as well, so I have no complaints. This is turning out to be a very good series.
