Rock-hard abs. Cocky smile. Sculpted hipbones that scream filthy sex. Liam Cage is walking torture for any girl in New York, but especially me. He’s my stepbrother and on top of that, I’m living under his roof. I’m following his rules. I’m nothing but his good little girl and so I can’t want him. I can’t tempt him.

I can’t bait him into touching my half-naked body while I lay "asleep" on his couch.

… About that.

It was every kind of wrong but I couldn’t help myself. I stripped down for my stepbrother. Tortured him. Forced him take out years of pent-up lust on my body in one sticky, sweaty shot. Long story short, I made the hottest mistake of my life, and I know there’ll be consequences, especially with a past like mine. But now that I’ve opened up Pandora’s box, there’s no going back. Basically, I’m screwed.

But when it’s with a man as painfully sexy as Liam, screwed has kind of never felt so good.

IT'S LIVE NOW ON AMAZON!

Ok so I can't understand why authors starts a books referencing the hero's past sex life!? This almost had me stop right there cause I HATE that.
However, that would have been a real shame because this story ROCKED!
Honestly, it had it all.
A SHARED PAST
LOVE AND DEVOTION
PASSIONATE AND HOT (smoking hot)SEX
THE PERFECT COUPLE

The story starts off with the hero Liam inviting his stepsister Sasha to live with him after she had a spectacular break up with her one and only lover/fiancé Ethan aka the egotistical dick or the erectile dysfunction or ED for short.
(The name Ethan is way too nice for this asshole).
Seriously here the heroine been with him since college and she has never had an orgasm. Now there is a reason to leave his controlling ass.
The hero is complicated as he seems to be so cold to her at first. Him being an MMA fighter/gym owner was always in control of his emotions. He could not afford to let his feelings for her show.
She was not having that so to push her step brother's buttons, she gets naked and while she is fake sleeping, masturbates in front of him. After a heated passionate exchange:
His response is
"I've wanted this p*ssy since you were 17....I f*cking hated myself for it."

So obviously he was conflicted by his feelings but you can honestly tell he really loved her. Every small or big thing he does is for her or in order to protect her. Yes, he is often misguided but he really does love her and has done so for over 7 years. Once you understand his motivation, He is just the perfect guy here.
And HOT did I mention that?
Now the heroine Sasha has also always loved the hero but she was sending out mixed signals here for me. She wants him but she won't tell people they are together or tell her nightmare of a family about their relationship.
Heroine to the hero quote
"You are such a miracle for me...you were the only person I could rely on"
Hero back to the heroine quote
"You're the single most important person in my life...I'm here to make you happy".

They had to face many challenges and haters. I don't want to reveal too many details here. But these two are just the perfect couple.
Now with all this going on for this book why the 4 stars? Well two reasons for that
Reason 1- the heroine. I hated how she allowed for 10 years of taking the blame for her mothers lovers bullshit! I mean honestly no one is that good. She allowed others to say hurtful things to her like her "slutty friend" Jenna, her ex ED, her worthless mother, and she bitchy sister.
You can tell I really loved these secondary characters here.
Honestly, she does grow a spine here and In the end it was "Liam was strong. I'd become stronger and together we were bulletproof".
Reason 2- the hero sleeps with others at first while the heroine is living with him. That is a big no for me here. Now, they are not together and he did not know she wanted him. He was just trying to keep a distance between them because of the whole taboo stepsister relationship.
They had not even kissed here yet.
Nothing!

He was respecting her wishes and not pushing the issue. So I can't really fault the hero but I still don't like it.

Enjoyable and I would recommend it.
Worth a read and yes even a reread for me.
Those scene were HOT!
Safety: no cheating they get together stay together, OW/OM drama in the heads of others but not for them, they stay faithful.

DNF @ 25%, at which point I'd wanted to do this: 🙄🔫

Not much of a plot; childish characters; improbable and ridiculous dialogue and to top that, unnecessary female bashing. Note to authors: enough with the blonde stereotypes. Just saying

This story started off with a bang and never stopped going. From the first page the author throws sexual tension out from every turn and I loved every second of it. Liam was by far the sexiest stepbrother there is and I'm actually a little sad that his story is over. I need more of him in my life!

I almost passed on this book because I'm not a huge fan of the stepbrother books. Ever since the trope blew up there have just been too many similar stories so I tend to just avoid them now. But something about this blurb drew me in and I just had to meet these characters. And I'm really glad I did because I thoroughly enjoyed their story.

I'm not even kidding when I say Liam was the quintessential Alpha Hero type. He had the bad boy thing going for him and on top of that had the growly, I'll-kill-you-if-you-hurt-my-girl thing going on too. I couldn't get enough of him and how he was with Sasha, all sweet and yet never without that dangerous undertone. I could probably go on and on about how much I loved Liam and set the record for longest review in history, but I'll save you and just stop here. But seriously, read this book and meet this man.

The story had a lot of intrigue that wasn't just in the bedroom so I never found myself bored or wishing there wasn't so many sex scenes without any story. There was actually a lot going on with Sasha that was brought into the story and kept my attention. I liked how the author added a lot of depth into the book and kept it constantly going, without any parts that slowed down.

Overall, I definitely recommend this book for every lover of the erotica. Even if you aren't a fan of the stepbrother books I still urge you to give this book a try.

I'll keep this as short and sweet as I can. If you're looking for a guilty pleasure read with plenty of hot sex, this is certainly worth checking out. Every girl needs one of these every now and then.

For this girl, however, it's hard to enjoy a guilty pleasure read with that much drama present. Don't get me wrong, I love me some angst. I live for angst. But there's a line for me where angst becomes too much drama for me to enjoy and this book unfortunately had that. The drama was one cliche layered over another and that was a turnoff in and of itself.

The heroine was simply too much of a doormat for me to have any semblance of a liking to her. She takes sh*t from everyone; her crazy and selfish family, acquaintances, and the horde of ow that are after her man. She had one point of assertiveness in the very beginning and then nothing. Her constant back and forth with Liam drove me nuts. She wants him, but she doesn't want to publicly claim him, she wants him, but she can't have him, rinse, lather, and repeat. Le sigh.

The hero was a delicious mix of manwhore and alpha that I usually drool over. But the ow drama and all the other drama that was going on, it overshadowed any of the romance this story had going. Add into the mix the hero.

The pacing was off, too. After the first 15%, the book dragged, unnecessarily so. It was much of the same drama being repeated over and over. It just felt forced. This book had more of a feel of a novella for me and after a while I found myself completely disconnected from the story and the couple.

I don't typically gravitate towards the step-brother trope, but the synopsis here intrigued me enough to give it a shot. I can't resist a manwhore in any shape or form it seems. Had it not been for the overwhelming drama and what I felt was a lack of true relationship development (outside of all the sex), this would have been a solid 3 star read for me.

Don't let my opinion keep you from reading this. I tend to be on the pickier side and the things that bothered me, you may not even bat an eyelash at. So I suggest you give it a shot and see for yourself.

OMG!!!!!

This is very possibly one of, if not the best Stepbrother book I have EVER read! I'm not joking when I say that I put it up there with Penelope Ward's Stepbrother Dearest and Need/Take by KI Lynn ad N. Isabelle Blanco. It was freaking phenomenal.

description

I have only read one book by this author before and that was Dare Me and I fucking loved that one too. So fucking hard. It was incredible. So quite naturally, when I was very generously offered an ARC of Wrong by the author I fangirled the fuck out. #SorryNotSorry

Wrong had so many elements to it that made it incredible that I'm starting to believe it's just the authors writing style. It's blatantly obvious that I'm kinky as shit and LOVE the forbidden, taboo stuff so a good, well written Stepbrother book takes the cake for me. Liam and Sasha had some of the HOTTEST sex I have ever read.

description

However, it also had its funny moments that were downright hilarious and had me laughing out loud. It had a great plot and seriousness to it that made it worth reading and not just one giant sex fest. I felt like I was actually in Manhattan as I was reading it and for a girl that's never been to the US before, that's saying a lot. The writing was so descriptive and vivid but didn't bore me at the same time. The whole crew, the guys, they all felt like one big, giant family (And I don't just mean that cause of the whole stepbrother thing, LOL.)

"So if I'm fucking you, Sasha, everyone's going to know it." And boy, oh boy, do I know it! These two were as smutty, filthy and as hot as they fucking come! (See what I did there? << ;) )

"No running from me like you did tonight," he grinned against my neck. "Chasing only makes me fuck harder, babe. And I promise I'll be fucking you hard enough as it is." Nuff said.

Liam is one of the hottest, biggest alpha males ever written. I love him.

"Uh. You mean that's your girlfriend?"
"As far as you're concerned, she's my wife,"
But he's also extremely sweet and romantic without being cringe-worthy too. Always a nice trait to have ;)

I am so rooting for AJ and Aria. Them two are soulmates and they sure as shit better get their own book. So should Max. I'm torn at the minute between Liam and AJ cause I love them both so much. We shall see who wins my heart if AJ gets his own book....

"Hey, you're not allowed to get that cowboy dick if I'm not."
"Oh, really. You're married!"
LOL. I promise there were no cowboys in this story if you don't like them!

I really kinda hated Jenna. And Riley for a long while too. And Bree. And fucking Pamela. I fucking hated Pamela with a passion. (Pamela is Riley and Sashas' - they are sisters - mother.) I also hated Ethan and Owen too. Read the freaking book to find out why! I promise, you'll agree with me. ;)

description

This author is a phenomenal writer. Each character has a little story that is expertly interwoven into Sasha and Liams' life. Her writing style and vision creates almost another world that you feel you're experiencing rather than just reading. It was fan-fucking-tastic. Well done Stella Rhys on another well deserved and well earned 5 stars from me. This story and the amazing characters and world you created more than deserve it. With Stepbrother books becoming all the rage right now, this is one I strongly recommend you one click. You won't regret it, I promise!

P.S. That cover is fucking magnificent. I wanna lick it.

P.P.S. I'm also a full on stalker of this author now. Just ask her. I'd read anything she writes.

This h was such a wuss. I hated her. She let everyone in her life shit on her and NEVER fucking fought back. She just ran away and CRIED. She took seriously crazy-stupid mental abuse from her mother, emotional abuse from her sister, verbal abuse from her best friend's cousin, physical and verbal abuse from her ex, and anyone else who wanted to dump on her. They treated her like shit and she let them. Like, let them walk all the fuck over her and made her say thank you for the privilege of the experience. She could have said "fuck you" and lived her own life at any point...but instead she was unsympathetically weak and wallowed in her situation accomplishing nothing but making it worse.

Until some MAN solved her shit.
Fuck that bullshit, right there.

Seriously.

Fuck. That.

Weak women who never change are not interesting heroines. Period. And they should be a turn off to any decent H. I'm not saying your man can't make you stronger or help you out, but seriously...she goes from crying, fluffy marshmallow "woe is me, everybody is a meanie face and my ex was abusive" to letting her man solve her problems at every turn...and she still let her family walk all over her.

I call bullshit.

I know many will love this because the H is a super, sexy, alpha badass (who fucked OW off page for a month in the apartment he shared with the h whom he "loved") but I don't even care he did that yet only wanted the h, CUZ SHE'S NOT WORTH IT!!!

Most of the drama was because the h wanted the taboo but wouldn't allow it to be public. While I get that, all of their friends knew and couldn't give a fuck. And the ones that didn't know, but would be pissed, yeah those were the ones that walked all the fuck over the h...so...

Yeah. I got nothing.

2 stars for no OW sex scenes or OW after the H/h get together and the writing was better than others I read this summer.

Oh boy. Just when I think I’m out, they pull me back in!!!!

Between going back to school this fall, work and the blog, I decided to cut back on the number of books I commit to. But then this gem came along. And it hit me right in my Achilles heel…Stepbrothers. What’s a girl supposed to do!? I HAD to read it!!!

And I’m definitely glad I did. I had the hardest time putting it down. It was a rollercoaster of twists and turns and OMG. THE CHEMISTRY!!!!

I have to say that even though the blurb is very honest and said “I can’t bait him into touching my half-naked body while I lay "asleep" on his couch. … About that.” And was labled as “raunchy”…I still wasn’t prepared to be hit with it on literally page 1. It’s not a bad thing, I was just surprised. (and not in a bad way)

Liam and Sasha definitely had chemistry…out of this world chemistry! I thought the author did a good job weaving the history Liam and Sasha had throughout the story. I never felt like they were just in it for the sex. And I have to say that it was refreshing that Liam didn’t want to hide. In a lot of stepbrother books, they’re always hiding their relationship, but Liam was ready to shout it from the rooftops. All his friends knew and he didn’t care who knew. I loved that.

I’ll admit, even though I loved this book, Sasha and I had some issues. I would kill for a guy like Liam. Or even Liam. So when she kept telling him they had to keep their relationship a secret, I wanted to shove her off a cliff. Liam loved her, and that’s all he wanted to do. He wanted to do the normal things couples did, go places together, be able to hold her hand and touch her, and instead, he had to watch as other guys hit on her and he couldn’t do or say anything about it. I just wanted to hug him.

This book was definitely filled with angst and drama. I knew that things would go wrong, especially with Sahsa’s sister. I saw that a mile away. I also saw the ex drama a mile away. I wish Liam hadn’t gotten in trouble the way he did, but he did the right thing, a) standing up for Sasha and b) taking responsibility for his actions.

There was one huge thing that bothered me…what happened to Daisy!?!?!??! I really wanted Sasha to end up with her at the end. I assume she stayed with Sasha’s ex, and that distresses me because with the way he treated Sasha, how was he going to treat that poor sweet innocent baby!? (Daisy was a puppy)

Overall, I would TOTALLY recommend this book! It was beyond awesome! I can’t wait to read more from the author :)

(ARC kindly provided by author in exchange for an honest review)

I really thought I was done reading Stepbrother themed novels, but that was until I read Wrong's blurb. Something about this book called to me, and boy, was I glad I listened to my gut and read it.
Wrong was as sexy as I was expecting, but I was pleasently surprised by how much heart this book had. It did have a lot of thrilling sexy times, but the relationship between Sasha and Liam was so much more than just passionate chemistry. The book is very well written and it delivers a good 'Ol time. I loved it!

 photo image_zpsxfbsxeq6.jpeg

Liam is Sasha's stepbrother but also her savior. Ever since their parents got married, Liam and Sasha had a special bond. Liam is a total Alpha Male, and he is always ready to fight whoever wants to even think about hurting Sasha. Even though he has a tough exterior he has a soft spot for her, and it just made me swoon for him, to see how there wasn't nothing he wouldn't do to make her smile.

Sasha has had romantic feelings for Liam for a long time, but she's always been worried about what her family and other people would think about her if they knew her real feelings for her step brother. She has a complicated relationship with her mother and Sasha is always wanting her mother's approval. So Sasha is terrified that her relationship with Liam will further disappoint her mother.

Liam and Sasha's relationship is raw and explosive. The sex; hot to the max, they need to be together and touching one another constantly, which makes it difficult to hide from everyone else. Will they be able to be together no matter the concequences, or will they simply give up on love and just remain being step-siblings forever?

I dare you to give this book a try, you will be pleasently surprised by how exciting and entertaining it is. I'm ready to read more books by this author.

Wrong hit all the strong points I like in a book of this genre:

1. Super steamy
2. Lots of steam and a little bit of plot thrown in
3. Strong supporting characters
4. Deep and swoon-worthy confessions of love
5. Taboo romance

That all said - something was missing. I'm not sure what it was but I wanted some "oomph" and I didn't find it. At many points throughout the book I thought, "Okay, this has to be the ending", but it kept going and going. While I enjoyed the overarching plot line, I just thought it dragged a bit.

On to the next!

Started off promising until it went off the rails.

Yes, this is a step-brother romance. I have a rule about books with tropes that are fad-ish like stepbrother romances: smutty and fun.

In other words, I enjoy more when books like this don't take themselves seriously. Unfortunately, this was smutty with a unhealthy amounts of drama, drama, drama. Miscommunication, jealousy, manipulation...not my cup of tea when it comes to step-brother romances.

Well. Hell. 🥵

Starts off suuuuuper spicy 🌶🌶🌶
Tapers off a bit (spice) but I didn't mind because at first I thought it was going to be pure smut with no story 😅 (It wasn't!)

Taboo 'fell for your step sibling' story. (Not super taboo in my book- they aren't related and they didn't 'grow up' together (H: 21/ h:17 when their parents married) 🤷🏻‍♀️

He was super protective and possesive over her and I loved it! Hated the reasoning behind the protectiveness though 😞

I also wish we didn't have so many references to his man whore ways with people she knew. If he loved her so much why would he bring so many girls back to let her hear him with them so often 🤔 (before they got together)

Single POV (h)

⚠️TW: parental abuse, prior reference to rape (h), violence

Ok it’s 6 in the morning because I spent all night reading, thanks Lexapro for keeping me up. I loved the first half, but the drama kept piling until it eventually came to a devastating crash. Nevertheless, our MC’s persisted through their struggles and loved each other more.

tropes: taboo romance, soulmates, and step siblings to lovers

5 Sexy-&-Naughty-Stars! ☆☆☆☆☆
I love Stella Rhys! I love this book!
“Take it… that’s good, baby, suck it nice and wet for me.  F#%k, just like that… swallow it, baby.  Don’t you waste one fucking drop.”

This is what my fantasies are made up of.
You know a book is good, when you wake up from dreaming about it... ;) The first sex scene that smacks you in the face when you start reading is f#%king insanely hot as hell! :)

“Liam pressed me hard against the wall as he thrust his fingers in and out of me with ruthless abandon, muttering the sexiest filth an inch from my face as he got me to come.  The orgasm ripped from my lips.  He clamped his hand over my mouth, snarling with satisfaction as hot pleasure shot straight to my core, crumbling me against the wall.”

If i had to describe the story in a few words, it's taboo, rough, passionate, daring, shocking, sexy & funny.

The sex scenes are to die for! They were arousing and seductive and oh so Hot! I loved it when Liam went all Alpha Male on Sasha. He is one guy you don't mess with. Every time he commanded Sasha to take her clothes off or touch him...i lost my horny mind! :)

“His bicep flexed under his shirt, stretching his sleeve completely taut. I watched, still transfixed by it when I felt his thick, swollen tip push inside me. My jaw dropped.
“Liam – ”
With a grunt, he yanked me down to the base of his shaft.
“Oh God!” Half my moan was swallowed in a gasp”

I also cant believe how much anger this story brought out in me towards Jenna's character. I despise her with every cell in my body. How can a person be so evil? ...worst part is, i think we all have a 'Jenna' in our lives that makes us want to scream.

I liked that there were many plot twists and climaxes. Sasha was battling issues with her evil mother, than her stupid sister, her friend Tuck and on top of that, she had another set of problems with Liam. There was always something that had me hooked till the end.

PS: the cover had me hooked before i even opened the book.

I loved the last stepbrother romance I read so I was hoping to like this one just as much.
I’ve got to admit I cringed during the scene in the first chapter when sasha pretends to be asleep half naked and touches herself whilst her stepbrother, Liam, tries to wake her. I’m not a prude in any way, far from it, but I just felt embarrassed for her. It seemed quite a juvenile way to get a guys attention.
It obviously worked for her though!

I have a few dislikes about this one so far..
Number one, I just can’t get into it as much as I’d like! So that’s a biggie. I think it’s maybe right book wrong time.
Number two, I don’t understand why Sasha’s sister, who is married, would be upset about her erm..relations with Liam. She’s married! She’s not allowed!
Number three. I feel like the author went overkill with the sex. The effort was too obvious.
Number four, I don’t really like the characters. Sasha is immature, her sister is immature, aria and her cousin are bloody annoying and Liam, well, see point three.
Therefore this is another dnf for me. I hate to dnf but it’s not for me right now. I will keep it on my kindle though for a later date. No rating for this one yet.

Not fond of heroines who withhold info from the heroes and then we have to wait for the other shoe to drop. Plus the heroine was wishy washy and I just didn't enjoy her. And don't get me started on the whole pretend taboo issue. It is totally asinine to believe that a couple who meet when their parents marry, who are 17 and 21 at the time and never live together would in any way be considered siblings. So stop telling me anyone would care.

Stepbrother romances are a dime a dozen these days so they don't really get my attention anymore. But I knew there was something different with this book because I was reading it as soon as I had it on my reader. No, it wasn't because of that cover. Nope! (But hot damn!)

And yay for me because I got myself a nice surprise with this book. This was actually a full-length novel (I thought it was another of those novellas floating around) with a really good, well-developed story. These types of plots are all exchangeable in my head but I think this book may just stand out from the rest. I loved Liam from start to finish. Oooh, that man! I liked Sasha but I got frustrated with her on more than one occasion. Woman, you wanted Liam and when you had him, you didn't want to go public? Or something like that. Hahaha! It wasn't cool going cray while reading at way past midnight. No, ma'am.

I am not over this book yet. I want more, more, more of this couple. I thought their circle of close friends was pretty cool, too--although the jury is still out on Riley, Sasha's sister. I'm not a fan. But I will get my hands on anything faster than when you can say spinoff novel.

Ahhh. Thank you for this wonderfull naughty read, Ms Rhys!

Really loved this one! Sasha is determined to seduce her stepbrother and he is equally determined not to be seduced by her. But of course where would the story go if he remains strong against her? But once they cross that boundary Liam wants everything out in the open and Sasha can't handle what her family will say. (I have to admit, why she longer for her mother's approval was beyond me, the woman is pure evil!)

Liam's career as a former MMA fighter is going to come back and haunt him. Sasha's ex-Ethan (agghh!!) is not going to go away quietly and an alpha Liam won't sit back and do nothing. The steam in this one....get out the ice cubes 'cause you're going to need them!

Lots of drama, lots of heartbreak and angst. Right up my alley!!

I received this eARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

5 Seriously Naughty Stars!
Smart writing, an all consuming romance and fiery sex scenes. Trust me when I say, this book rocked my world!

The Review:
This story! These characters! Temptingly taboo and shamelessly erotic! And absolutely irresistible! I MELTED! Seriously ... like, totally puddled out right on the freaking floor. This read was HOT HOT HOT!

Stella Rhys delivers a power-punch trifecta with this read. Scorching sexual chemistry, grueling angsts and a fabulously romantic love story that will enthrall you!

Story/Characters...
From the very first page, this read drew me in and held tight. It was insanely hot and that theme didn’t let up until the last page. There was also a solid, beautiful romance as two people who should never have had a chance, fight their pasts, their inner demons and public objection, to be together.

Sasha has been secretly in love with her step-brother since she was a teen. She has a shaky past filled with betrayal from the people who were supposed to protect her and when Liam Cage steps into her solemn world, he’s just the lifeline and ray of hope she needed. She’s stood in his shadow for years, letting his strength carry her forward. As time passes with her watching him bed the multitude of girls that cross his path, knowing her familial connection to him won't allow for her to be more than a step-sister, she decides enough is enough and in a moment of weakness, she devises a plan to provocatively seduce him.

Liam Cage is a dirty talking, smokin’ hot MMA fighter and all the girls want him, including me! Liam decided from the first day he saw Sasha that he would protect and shelter her, even going so far as to protect her from himself as his feelings deepened with each passing year. She was the one thing he vowed not to corrupt ... that is, until she splays herself out before him and he can resist her no more.

These two... WOW! They were so epically taboo and so wickedly naughty! The way this author writes Liam, you can’t help but pant after him. The man is a sexual powerhouse. He’s intense and bold and doesn’t care what others think. When he decides he’s taking Sasha for himself, he’s confident and dominant and doesn’t care if the whole world turns against him for loving someone he’s not supposed to. His love and devotion to Sasha was unrelenting and outstandingly sexy.

Sasha was beautifully free with Liam but she let the world and the people around her, who didn’t have her best interest at heart, rule her. Being step-siblings had enough obstacles to keep them from finding their happily-ever-after, but Sasha also let her insecurities and troubled past put an extra strain on their already overburdened relationship. She let fear rule her. Then, add in the hordes of girls that wanted Liam for themselves and the people opposed to them being together for one reason or another, and their struggle was real, heartfelt and flooded with angsts. I loved it! I loved every, heartbreaking, soul shaking, sizzling hot moment of this read!

Watching them overcome, was spectacular and the author plays out their story brilliantly. And that epilogue? Perfect!

The Wrap Up:
Wrong was so incredibly right! It had a swoon-worthy hero and an insecure but strong heroine. It was insanely HOT with scorching sex scenes and a kick-you-in-the-feels angst. There was also a bit of drama as Sasha’s past comes back to haunt her. Simply put, this was a FANTASTIC read. It gave me laughs, tummy flutters and those chest pangs I love so much ... and I’m suggesting it to all my friends!

This book was amazing, with little thorns.
First thing first: it's my personal opinion but I don't find the relationship between step siblings a necessary taboo, apart from the fact that the whole family might get hurt if it doesn't work out. To be honest, there is no blood relation.
Now as for the thorns: Liam's sex life, however, I'm more pissed at him not because he acted like a manwhore, but because I REALLY can't blame him. He's in love with Sasha since she was 17. As far as he's concerned they are siblings. She doesn't have feelings for him and she was in a long term relationship. He clearly couldn't get over her, thus the lack of relationship and increased number of whoring. He's only human, so I really don't see how I can expect celibacy and that's what's been driving me mad!
Now the pluses for the hero: he's honest, it's not just lust. He's in love and he is man enough to admit it from the moment he acknowledged the feelings. He didn't wanna hide from the world and didn't care for useless public opinion. His intentions were always honourable, whether it was as a stepbrother or as a boyfriend. He didn't do anything by half! As a matter of fact, a lot of the dramas could have been avoided due to his determination for making Sasha happy and make things right for her, and if our heroine wasn't a doormat!
That brings to the second thorn: Sasha is a fucking doormat! Her mum was abusive, her mum's ex boyfriend was abusive, her sister was psychotic, she had a nightmare of a "friend" called Jenna, who was a whore, and her ex was abusive and also a psychopath.
Did she do anything about it? No! If she did, if she just talked to Liam about any of it, a lot could have been avoided, even Liam's sentence.
I can't completely blame her, as a survivor of abuse she had a natural knack for not trying to be anyone's burden, specially not Liam's and she was worried (justifiably) about Liam losing his cool and doing something stupid, BUT it was still selfish and idiotic. Specially when Ethan (ex) threatened her she needed to tell Liam and go to the police! That was a serious offence.
Then there was her secrecy about her and Liam's relationship. It was almost insulting to Liam when she kept on refusing to tell people about them whereas he's ready to name their relationship as it is not his dirty little secret. He gets it that it's wrong, but it is neither immoral nor illegal and they're consenting adults and they should live the life to fullest with each other.
I was also surprised Ethan wasn't arrested and convicted because his and Jenna's little social media stunt was definitely convict-able crime.
I understand Riley was a stashed and she was heartbroken but seriously? The stunt she pulled was unforgivable. All because she was jealous and couldn't get Liam! She shouldn't have been forgiven at all.
Sasha' mother: don't even get me started. It was a too right picture of how some mothers DO react when their spouses molest their kids. She's a monstrous bitch who shouldn't have been allowed to have kids. She's too selfish and attention seeking to be a parent.
In this note, I loved the fact that Liam's father Vic decided to divorce Pam (Sasha's mother) after realising what she did to her kid. I suddenly had a little more respect for that man.
All these aside, this was a wonderful read. I'm a sucker for guys fighting for a relationship, instead of the girls. And despite or may be because of all the above issues, the book was what it was. It was really wonderful to read about how people can fight for their love, and how that ends up as a beautiful story.

Not your typical Stepbrother Romance

about the book

Rock-hard abs. Cocky smile. Sculpted hipbones that scream filthy sex. Liam Cage is walking torture for any girl in New York, but especially me. He’s my stepbrother and on top of that, I’m living under his roof. I’m following his rules. I’m nothing but his good little girl and so I can’t want him. I can’t tempt him.

I can’t bait him into touching my half-naked body while I lay "asleep" on his couch.

… About that.

It was every kind of wrong but I couldn’t help myself. I stripped down for my stepbrother. Tortured him. Forced him to take out years of pent-up lust on my body in one sticky, sweaty shot. Long story short, I made the hottest mistake of my life, and I know there’ll be consequences, especially with a past like mine. But now that I’ve opened up Pandora’s box, there’s no going back. I’m screwed.

But when it’s with a man as painfully sexy as Liam, screwed has kind of never felt so good.

**Wrong is a raunchy, angsty standalone novel with a HEA.**

Review, more on like opinion...

Sasha's character annoyed me too much, thankfully she redeems herself. I cannot stand her mum, sister, and Jenna's stance towards her. And she's like I can't deal with confrontation (insert eye-rolled) and oh? how can I forget the douchey ex-boyfriend? Liam on the other hand was a sweetheart, I adore how he supported and deeply love Sasha.

And thankfully the story picked up, I just wish to see more action than just telling us that and this - mainly when the turning point happened and we got an Epilogue instead.

I was expecting more but the author decides to load everything up...
