I'm in love. If you want a book with complex and layered situation and relationships, with a hidden identity and a scared and lonely but strong and smart FMC well I suggest tjis book. I usually complain about men getting off easy and not working for forgiveness and my god did Leonor Soliz not only live up to this but surpassed it. This is a story surrounded by hidden identity. To his credit Javier knew the imbalance of power would make any type of relationship flawed 🟢. He might have taken the wrong way around it but the way he goes around asking for forgiveness, getting back trust and proving his worthiness is sweet sweet perfection. This man is a flying green flag and Nora might have scars but she is a strong smart driven boss babe that has the world (and Javier at her feet)

Grief is a fickle thing, it can often get in the way of you living your life to your fullest. Nora’s grief attached itself to her for so long that she found nothing but loneliness around her. But when a billionaire man named Javier Pendleton steps into her life she finds that maybe it is possible to find happiness and maybe experience what it is to love someone.

Javier has gone through his life surrounded by loneliness. He struggles with the meaning of love and what it would mean to let someone in completely. He has family and friends and knows what it is to love someone, he just never experienced falling in love with someone. His world became brighter and lighter when Nora came into his life. Unsure with what to do with all these new feelings it leads him down a path that causes hurt. Though he fights like hell to prove to himself and to her that love and friendship can prevail!

A huge thank you to Leonor Soliz for allowing me to be apart of this ARC 🩵 I’m forever grateful for the opportunity!

I received the ARC for this book and this is my review.

SO good. Easily one of the top five best books I’ve read this year. Leonor is a wicked talented writer! The book is a modern retelling of the 1912 book Daddy Longlegs and she did an incredible job of adapting the original story into a modern day romance that features a strong, confident, curvy Latine FMC. She expertly wove in subtle nods to the 1912 time period throughout the book. It was also giving me Dirty Dancing Havana Nights vibes too. The slow burn between Nora and Javier made it so hard to stop reading, I love that their relationship was as much intellectual and emotional as it was physical 🤌🏼

Huge kudos to Leonor for a captivating, well-written romance with strong character development and a slow burn relationship that culminated in some spice. We love to see it! 🫠

I think there’s a new book boyfriend in the mix, Mr. Javier Pendleton.

✨ARC Review✨

Thank you for my digital ARC! All opinions are my own and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Summary:

Nora has been offered a spot in a prestigious mentorship program that will provide her all the tools necessary to successfully start her business, the only requirement is that she must write monthly progress emails to the unknown billionaire benefactor who is sponsoring her through the program. Thinking her benefactor will never read them, she uses the emails as though she’s writing to a close friend with updates about her life.

Javier is a philanthropist whose life goal is to use his wealth to support and uplift young entrepreneurs wishing to start their own business, but who are barred from the network and resources of the upper class. In response, he created a sponsorship program to connect people with an elite incubator program that will give his sponsee access to the best business mentors, networking events and investors to help them with startup development and funding for their fledgling businesses. The only problem, no one knows Javier is the creator of the sponsorship program, and if the incubator finds out, it could jeopardize his program’s future. What happens when Nora and Javier meet and become good friends, and she doesn’t know she’s been writing to him this whole time?

Review:

I really enjoyed Nora’s character. She is incredibly confident in her ideas, from the beginning, and doesn’t let anything get in the way of achieving her dreams. She is incredibly reluctant to let people get close enough to let her walls come down (rightfully so), but overtime she begins to appreciate the benefits that come with having people in your life you can be vulnerable with.

I also really appreciated how emotionally intelligent Javier is. He always knew exactly how to respond or act that would put Nora at ease or make her feel comfortable, and he also knew when to step back and give space so as to not overwhelm her. He not only told her that she could trust him and expected her to implicitly believe him, he let his actions speak for him and showed her that he was someone she could rely on. I think his groveling was written really well. He made sure to give her space to come to a decision about their relationship. He didn’t center himself or his feelings, but recognized he made a mistake and wanted nothing more than for her to be happy.

I personally have always been really interested in epistolary stories because I think it’s a really interesting way of storytelling and having characters interact. It allows them to be more open and honest with each other and really gives us insight into how the characters organize their thoughts and feelings. I was also so happy to see the rest of the friend group return from the previous books. They are such a sweet found family and they welcomed Nora with open arms. I think that this was a great end to the series and I can’t wait to read more of Leonor Soliz’s work!

This book was sooo much better than the previous ones. I can’t tell if the writing has improved or it’s just that the narrators weren’t horrible (or mix of both). But I enjoyed this one. I’m a sucker of epistolary romances. Plus I liked both characters. We actually got to know them more than just in relation to their relationship. Although they thought too much imo. They could’ve made their lives easier if they didn’t overthink everything so much, but they kind of had their reasons why. And I didn’t mind the slow progression because it made sense for this situation.

I’m still not in love with the dialogue with this author, especially because I just don’t find the men to be believable in how they speak/think and sometimes the dialogue in general seems off. And there were so many times in the series when I’ve thought “this book is too woke.” Not because of the values or their way of thinking but in the over explaining to show that these people are good. For example, when the friends meet Nora for the first time, Max joked that they would be making a case for Javier as his friends but then right away felt the need to say “but like in a polite not pushy way.” That wasn’t needed. Too much tell and not enough show. The author could’ve just showed us how the group treated her and acted and not have to say it. This happened quite a bit throughout the series, where I agree with what the author is trying to do but the execution feels awkward.

I was also annoyed (?) at Nora getting upset people were asking about her family. I know they were being nosy but like friends asking about your parents during an event where parents are normally present is pretty normal. If she had told them early on that her parents were gone or even said that it a tough topic to talk about, then it wouldn’t have been brought up during the dinner. I know trauma and grief can make people act differently, but her getting upset at people wanting to know her better was inconsistent with her also wanting close friends. It was just a weird scene to me that wouldn’t have had to happen, except the author needed it to push the characters together. Also, her giving back some of the money was BS. I know why the author felt it needed to happen (power imbalance/indebtedness) but that was just dumb of Nora. She’s an orphan with no family or friends (at that point) starting a business, she needed all the money she could save! If there’s something I hate, is a character rejecting money/returning money to a billionaire.

The narration was pretty good. Not just in comparison to the others in the series, but on their own.

I was so excited for this book and was thrilled to receive it as an ARC. I ended up starting this in the midst of a medical issue so I was welcoming the distraction and sure enough, the intrigue between both MCs was putting in work. I will admit that I am not a usual slow burn reader but the previous book in this series had me on my toes the whole time. These characters are very different, in a good way. Both are lost and truly expect nothing in the romance aspects of their lives, so when he started feeling different towards her just through emails, it was adorable. When she finally meets him without knowing exactly who he is and starts feeling that chemistry along with her own insecurities, you are already rooting for them.
Before you know it, the middle of the book is here and it's a different version of "I want to but I shouldn't" depending on the chapter. Now, I am also impatient so when it started slowing down for me, I started losing interest to the point I wasn't sure if we'd get a big moment.
Once we did, then the story took off again and the ending came quickly for it. Of the entire situation, my favorite parts were the friend groups trying to help them navigate through the big moment and what it could mean for the couple now and in the future.
I don't usually take this long to read a book but to keep myself from skimming, the slow middle portions took the wind out of my sails. For people who do enjoy a long and drawn out slow burn or stories with not much spice, this would be perfect for them. For me, unfortunately it dragged but overall still enjoyed the stories in this series and would still recommend the series and the author.

I have the best book hangover after finishing this last night! This was the best grovel I've read in ages. So perfectly done!

After being raised by a single mother who then died far too young, Eleanora has beaten the odds and finished graduate school with a goal of creating an educational enterprise that will benefit students without 'othering' them. When her proposal catches the attention of billionaire Javier Pendleton, she is launched into the orbit of the insanely wealthy. But she cannot know her benefactor, she must only send progress reports and expect no response.

When Javier realizes that Eleanora (Nora) is lonely and struggling to adapt to her new surroundings, he befriends her, but does not tell her who he is in her life. Wanting to protect his philanthropic efforts and Nora herself, Javier can't risk Nora knowing who he is. When she does find out though, Nora is devastated.

This relationship was so beautifully complicated. The maturity, the respect and love these two have for one another is so well written and their HEA is so hard fought and won. I am forever lamenting that there's not enough groveling in romance, that the wrongdoers are too easily forgiven. But Leonor Solíz understood the assignment! Javier's grovel was not one of forced expectations from Nora, but of learning and waiting. He sat with his wrongdoing, giving Nora space and time. He listened and learned and it was JUST. SO. GOOD!

Leave it to THE Leonor Soliz to just write the perfect slow burn with characters who are intentional in their communication and overly careful in their consideration of the other’s wellbeing. Love. Love. Love!!!! Javier is a philanthropic billionaire helping to fund the dreams and ambitions of disadvantaged students who may otherwise never make the right connections to get their business ideas off the ground while Nora is a beneficiary of one of Javier’s endeavors so he keeps his distance—sort of. Part of the program requires that recipients correspond with their benefactors and update them on their progress. Nora takes this part of the program and runs with it as she continuously writes email updates to her sponsor, who happens to be Javier. When they meet in person for the first time, however, Javier knows who Nora is but she does not know who he is.

Javier partially falls for Nora through the email updates that she writes, but they also strike up a friendship in real life and the combination of experiences makes Javier fall hard. Nora is attracted to Javier but hesitant. When she learns the truth, the slow burn continues as she tries to work through her complicated feelings of not quite betrayal, but the omission throughout their friendship rightfully bothers her. I loved the maturity of the couple, and I liked that we see Nora honor her hesitation and her ambitions. This book felt like such a warm hug. I loved it.

Listen, I love me some Leonor Soliz. This entire series has my whole heart. This is the last book in the Latine Cozy Billionaire series, and I am so sad it is over. This one has 2 MCs that are Latine. As always, Leonor delivers on the fat representation. Nora is confident and content in her body.

Leonor always has this way of tackling subjects in books that represent our complex feelings, life experiences and hardships without being heavy. There is a good balance. Nora has a lot of grief and struggles to really feel like she can open-up and share herself with others. That is made even more challenging when she is in the business program around others that have a lot of wealth, privilege and family support. She opens to this anonymous benefactor thinking he is an old rich man. On the receiving end is Javier and he struggles to see her loneliness and pain in her emails without responding. Javier also feels very lonely. He has a good support system, but he is also someone who does not always share all of himself with others until they get to know him.

The duplicity that occurs in this book is not glossed over it is flushed out. Talked through and something that is shown to impact the trust that was here with the couple. I appreciated that Leonor did that because I sometimes feel that in romances with a grand gesture everything is made right but the work to show that they are solid as a couple when the book closes is not always known. Here, I know they are together and thriving well after the book is over.

The friend group in this book and across the entire series makes me so happy and honestly, I cried a bit when I finished this one because I will not have a new book with them in it, but Leonor is releasing the series in audio and I have been re-reading them with my ears as they come out and falling in love all over again.

In Yours, For Good, Leonor Soliz gifts us a swoon-worthy finale to the Cozy Latine Billionaires series, blending hidden identity, billionaire romance, and a festive sprinkling of found family. Our plus-size, bi/pansexual heroine, Nora, is fierce, ambitious, and unapologetically herself—a refreshing departure from typical Latine romance stereotypes. Javier, a “secret billionaire” with a soft heart, funds young entrepreneurs but keeps his role under wraps. Sparks fly when Nora unknowingly befriends him and their chemistry, fiery yet sweet, is electric.

The representation here is truly a win: it breaks down traditional machismo, showing love through mutual respect and emotional growth. Javier knows that he needs to come clean because the unfair power dynamic he holds over Nora as her secret benefactor gives him an unfair advantage in their budding relationship. When he finally comes clean (breaking my heart in the process), Javier’s groveling is top-tier, reminding us why second-chance and hidden-identity tropes always hit the spot. With tropes like friends-to-lovers, billionaire romance, and hidden identity, Yours, For Good is a perfectly spicy, heartfelt send-off to a series that defies stereotypes and celebrates love in all its forms. If you crave romance with depth, humor, and a refreshing take on Latine culture, this one’s for you!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you so much for sending me an ARC of this book!!

I enjoyed this book so much!! What more could I ask more for? A billionaire romance, with an MMC that GROVELS, written letters, dancing, and a plus size FMC. I love that Leonor's books are relatable, cozy and make you feel fuzzy/happy inside while reading. AND as a plus-size person, it is always amazing to see representation in books.

While it is s slow burn, it is SO worth it. I loved the letters so much (don't get me wrong I also love group chats in books) but having letters was different and was refreshing to see in a book. I enjoyed the characters and their story. Seeing Javier's and Nora's story come together was *chefs kiss*.

Favourite Quotes:

"Join me in the water Nora. Let me hold you and keep you safe."

"Let me make it all about you. Who says I didn't get please? Let me be desperate for you. I deserve to suffer."

"Anchor me, Javier. Let your body be my tether- I need to get out of my head. I've been here all alone for months. Get me in my body again. Get me feeling something other than what I've been feeling."

Tropes:
Strangers to friends to lovers
Class differences
Secret identity
Found family
Latinx rep
Letter writing/Epistolary
Groveling
Dual POV

Another swoony, cozy, romance that highlights diverse characters and is delivered in an uncommon style for romance books. I loved the epistolary style! Nora was so vulnerable in her letters/emails, and it just brought back all these feelings of when "passing notes" or keeping a friends journal was a thing. We reveal so much when we write to someone we trust which is why the secret identity added so much tension and angst... but of course, we get groveling. And aside from his massive mistake (that had good intentions), Javier was such an amazing partner and friend.

Just like any interconnected series, I love seeing previous characters make cameos. I'm sad this series is over, but I'm excited to see what's next for Leonor Soliz.

Highly recommend for anyone who loves cozy romances with diverse characters. Also, the spice was spicing in this one, but it did feel like a slow burn lol 🫠

Javier is a Billionnaire financing in secret a business incubator program. Elenora is working through her gradate degree to start her own business. She wasn't able to get financing for her business but was given a leg up with accepting the entry into the business incubator program instead. She starts writing email to Javier's alter identity, except it's more than just weekly or monthly reports. Javier doesn't respond to Nora, but he does read her musings like its diary entries. He starts to fall for her as she is coming into her own, but his guilt is racking his body.

The emails written in the first half of the book were a little too much and could have been cut down. The last 3rd of the book is when the plot finally gets going as they both start to come into a relationship together, but even that portion was still too angtsy for me. There's more story than smeggsy. I probably won't recommend this book to others. The concept for the story was on par, though.

Thank you, author, for the ARC!

What I loved is how Leonor portrays the inner turmoil and growth of individuals, making them feel real and relatable. The narrative’s pacing is deliberate, allowing for emotional depth while still maintaining an engaging plot. What I really enjoy was how Nora was having conversations through email and sending them to Javier and calling him Mr B and thinking he is this old man with a lot of money but you can see the grow in the two characters and how they learn and develop and how Nora want to be this strong women even when she lost her mom and has no family and Javier is trying to make his grandmother dream of giving someone freedom. **I beta read and also read an ARC**

Even though I had the benefit of talking through the vision of this book with the author, there are things as a reader that need no explanation. One of which is that this book is really centering finding your place and an unintended outcome is finding a rich partner. Nora spent quite a bit of time figuring out who she is...her ethnic identity, how she contributed to her environment, and what it means to be in community. Javier has the resources but also doesn't want to talk to people. As a reader we are really taken on a journey via emails and stolen glances. It's a slow burn because both characters are sorting things out along the way. The last 25% is where it all comes together so keep an open mind especially if you want lots of spicey time. This book takes its time to get to the HEA.

This book is part of the Cozy Latine Billionaires Series (book 4)
This is the story I’ve been waiting for!!!
Nora is 26 and alone when she’s given an opportunity by an unknown benefactor. She doesn’t know who he is but is required to write him monthly progress emails that she doesn’t even know if he reads them, so she ends up using it like diary. Javier is the billionaire trying to spend as much of his family’s money as he can by supporting different causes but also giving people chances they wouldn’t have had because they weren’t born into money like him. Breaking his own rule he meets Nora in person not as the billionaire benefactor but himself. They grow closer and start to develop feelings for each other but there’s one huge problem that could ruin everything she doesn’t know he’s both men….
Thank you for the opportunity to read the story it was beautiful and amazing!!

I really really liked this book!

I was introduced to this author via social media and received an ARC. I always love reading authors I’ve never read before. This book was such a great treat.

Nora and Javier’s story had me go thru so many emotions. I couldn’t wait to go back to reading it. So much anticipation. And I have to admit a few tears were shed as well.

This book was a slow burn. But man oh man it was still hot. So much longing. I love some good longing. As long as there is a good payoff. And there was!!!!!

I don’t want to spoil anything but if you like a book with a strong female character who overcomes a lot and is smart and gets s$@t done. You should check it out.

It was part of the Latine Billionaire collection. After discovering this gem of a book. I look forward to going back and reading the rest of this series.

Javier is a Philanthropist, using the billions he inherited from his grandmother to try to do some good. Nora is a promising new graduate who he is secretly sponsoring to an exclusive incubator.
No one can know that he sponsored her. When Nora started writing to his anonymous email Javier learns how lonely and out of place she feel. Can he become her friend without jeopardizing his work or her place at the incubator? Can he be her friend without jeopardizing his heart?

I received an eARC from the author but all opinions are my own

Light Spoiler: Javier need to do some groveling in the end and I loved the balance of respecting Nora’s space while doing so.

Content warnings include: death of a parent, grief, alcohol use, classism, and sexual content

I cannot say enough how glad I am that I discovered this author. I absolutely love her books, more than I can say. This book was no exception. It’s part of an interconnected standalone series and the author included a timeline at the beginning so you could see where this fit into everything (this was very helpful)! Javier is a bit of a black sheep in his family, although he uses his money to help people get a leg up in the world of haves vs have-nots. Nora is one of those have-nots that becomes Javier’s beneficiary. When they meet (without Nora knowing he was the benefactor) and fall in love, things get complicated to say the least. I wanted to hug them both several times in the book, and I was very, very happy with how it all ended up.

*** ARC REVIEW ***
I truly loved this beautiful story! I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump and took my time savoring this love story. I’ve always been a fan of epistolary and while not completely written in letters, I enjoyed having them added to the story. Nora’s openness and raw truth in her letters, Javier’s personal struggle in helping but not wanting to cross the line, their personal individual growth…just loved every detail of their story. I fell in love with both Nora and Javier.

This is my second ARC from Lenor Soliz and noticed growth and depth in her writing. Looking forward to reading more of Soliz’s work.

It is finally Javier's turn!  I have been waiting for this since it was alluded to in the previous book.

I always love a good pen pal romance, and while this is not a traditional pen pal story, it delivers similar vibes, and I enjoyed how it played out.

I recommend this book and the whole series to anyone looking for cozy billionaire romances full of heart with a diverse cast and featuring a fantastic found family.

I absolutely loved this beautiful story! While the whole story was not completely written in letters, I really enjoyed them and love a good pen pal romance (even though this was not the traditional pen pal story) I really enjoyed how they played out. Leonor portrays the inner turmoil and growth of these two characters which made them feel so real and definitely easy to relate to. This story had such emotional depth and kept pace with an engaging plot. This book was a slow burn, but totally worth it!

I think this is the perfect last book of the series because only Javier can grovel like that.

If you have read Leonor before, you know she loves to write about latine main characters, plus size FMCs and cozy slow burn romances with CinnamonDom MMCs and this is not the exception.

This story is a modern retelling of Daddy long legs but as I didn't read it this story is new to me and I really enjoyed!

With this book we say goodbye to the billionaires group but something makes me feel like we'll see them making cameos in some future stories.

The build up was incredible with this one! The emotional risk led to a helluva pay off. Having Javier fall for Nora through emails pulled at my heart strings. We barely got to experience Javier’s closed off icy exterior because he soon became a puddle from Nora’s light. The author also did an incredible job of show casing Javier’s privilege from sharing Nora’s experiences with his (and others) philanthropic efforts. I loved how Nora rocked his world with those little mic drop moments! I’m sad to be at the other side of this novel because it was just that good!

I simply adore all of Leonor books.
But this one was very dear to me. I didn't know I would enjoy a story with hidden identity as much as I did this one. The final book in the cozy Latine billionaries series. This was my first epistolary story and love it. There will be no spoiling from me. If you love books, journaling and dreaming of having your own library then you must read Yours, for good.

i can’t believe i’m finished with this series??? i went into this book expecting to love javier just as much as the other mcs and not being able to choose but he exceeded my expectations and is now my favorite! when we finally got to the very slight downfall i was scared to see how nora reacted because i knew that whatever reaction she had was valid but still, seeing how javier was in shambles BROKE ME but it was well deserved and yet i kept talking to nora as if she was real saying cmon give him a chance YETTTT i also sided with her!! also seeing how he was satisfied with the crumbs she gave him made me love him sm more cause he NEEDED her so bad. anyways when i got to the second epilogue and saw that vi was pregnant made me so happy because this whole family is growing and i just love to see it and saddens me cause im gonna miss them sm😔

I absolutely loved this story. I think this once has become my favorite. Love how this story went about. I got all the feelings with it, from being curious, to excited, to a little angry at Javier 🫣, loving everything they had together. Nora, you are the sweetest, and I love seeing you grow through the whole book. Love love this one so much!

I loved this book definitely one of my favs. I always love her books because of the plus size rep. I definitely felt all the feels while reading this book. This has been my second arc for this author and I have to say she’s becoming one of my favorite authors.

This is basically Jean Webster’s Daddy Long Legs…. Down to names. Loosely based is one thing and something I can get behind. But when it’s pretty much identical, not so much. I was only a few pages in and could not finish was so disappointed.
