FORBIDDEN by Amy Miles, Bestselling Author:
Roseline Enescue didn't ask to become an immortal, to have all of the guests at her wedding slaughtered, or be forced into marriage with a man whose lust for blood would one day ignite the vampire legend.
Willing to risk everything for a chance at a normal life, Roseline escapes to America, but her transition into the human world isn't easy. Mortal men flock after her while cutthroat girls plot her demise. Yet she remains relatively unfazed until she meets Gabriel Marston. As their lives entwine, Roseline realizes he is more than he seems. His ability to grind concrete into dust pales in comparison to the glowing cross tattoo that mysteriously appears on his forearms.
Despite the forbidden bond between them, Roseline can't help wondering what Gabriel is. He's not human. He's not immortal. So just what is he?
SHAKEN by Susan Hatler, New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author:
High school junior, Kylie Bates, can suddenly read minds. When she touches people’s hands, she’s able to see their deepest thoughts. As if that’s not freaky enough, her dad sends her to help hottie detective, Sam Williams, track down a missing girl. Way too much pressure, especially for a girl who can’t watch Scream without getting nightmares.
Then, finding the missing girl leads to much more than Kylie’s prepared for. Like discovering that her dad has been lying to her. That she has a family she never knew about. That the girls have powers similar to hers. Oh yeah, and that someone is out to get her.
When the detective’s teenage wanna-be-cop cousin, Trip Williams, approaches Kylie at school insisting she help him solve the case, she discovers Trip might be the only one she can trust, and the only one to help her unravel the secrets behind her mysterious gift.
MY WOLF’S BANE by Veronica Blade, Bestselling Author:
Autumn Rossi thought she was a normal teenager. Suddenly, she can outrun every critter in the forest, making her wonder if she’s even human.
When the new guy at school, Zack de Luca, witnesses a questionable scene, he unfairly pins her as stuck-up. He acts like he hates her, yet he keeps bailing her out of trouble. Not only is Zack both insufferable and irresistible, he seems to sniff her anytime he gets close.
As passion flares between them, Autumn isn’t sure which is more dangerous: her psycho ex-boyfriend, or falling for Zack — who’s risking his life just by being near her.
RISE FROM DARKNESS by Ciara Knight, Bestselling Author:
After witnessing the death of her mother, Gaby Moore suffers with psychotic delusions. When fallen angel Alexander Lohr reveals she’s been marked by a demon, she must make the ultimate choice or lose her mind. She can fight alongside her father, an earthbound hunter killing fallen angels and demons, give into the demon blood coursing through her veins and join the underworld, or save the man she loves from both.

This is a fantastic collection of four full length novels by different authors, all of whom have published other best selling books in their own right. The books are all written for the teen and young adult market, with main characters of this age range. In each book at least one character is known to have paranormal abilities of some description and the storylines revolve about how they adapt to their abilities and hopefully find true love. Some of them leave you looking forward to reading sequels involving some of the characters.
The books are each well written, with strong characters and edge of your seat action, mystery, twists and turns or suspense - and great value as a boxed set! Whilst targeted at Young Adults they will also appeal to others who aren’t quite so young!
Thanks to the authors, publishers and NetGalley for letting me read an ARC of this collection. I’ll certainly be looking out for other works by these authors, especially sequels to some of the stories. A brilliant collection for anyone who loves paranormal stories!
There are at least two out of the four stories in this collection that I've read and loved already, so I'm half way there!
I have read everything My Wolf's Bane has to offer. The Shapes of Autumn series is already a favorite of mine, so I knew I was getting a good deal by getting this collection!
Shaken is another of the four that I've read and it was quite enjoyable! I love the idea of mind reading.
The other two books are still on my TBR, but they will be next! I'm excited to read them knowing they've been bundled with other great reads :)
I LOVED THESE BOOKS SO MUCH! Sadie was my favorite character. She was much like myself in many ways. The mast important way though was that she's not afraid to speak her mind. These books had so many amazing twists and turns through out it all. They were definitely an edge of your seat kind of books. I'd recommend these stories to anyone who loves supernatural romance.
Absolutely loved this box set. I read this over a weekend amazing read. Loved each book... Each author was able to spin their own style into the story lines... Well worth the read.
Forbidden - 1 star. I didn't enjoy the book at all.
My wolfs bane - 5 stars, bought book 2 on kindle one click straight after reading. Its totally addictive, loved the story line, the characters, everything. It was a great read.
Romance, action, intensity, intrigue it had it all.
Read from cover to cover in one sitting, refusing to let sleep take me.
Brilliantly entertaining
Shaken 4 stars. An enjoyable read, a good storyline, likeable characters. Not too deep or heavy.
A few twists and turns, not 'WOW' but still worth a couple of hours of my time.
Rise from darkness 3 stars. An okay read.
The book felt rushed with no chemistry between Gabby and Alex there was no build up to their romance. There was little intensity between them.
Beautifully Unnatural is a interesting YA collection of four books by A. Miles, S. Hatler, V. Blade and C Knight. All the novels hhave paranormal character or characters, who fall in love, but also deals with other life complications. The books have great relatively complex characters, and plots are well written combaning romance, action and suspense. Personally I liked best first story – Forbidden. I definitely recommend this to every YA and paranormal novels lover, who will find here four amazing stories.
---I received a copy of this book from Netgalley.---

This is a definite buy for lovers of the paranormal genre. Each story was unique and being a boxed set made it hard to stop reading. Read this set over the weekend and enjoyed every page.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review via NETGALLEY.
I really enjoyed this set. It was very well written and the characters were amazing. I loved most of the stories, one of them was a bit slower then the others but overall I would recommend this to all my friends. Amazing, simply amazing.
These four books are a great introduction to either new worlds, characters or authors. If you are not familiar with any of these authors, you will be very happy to have a chance to read their stories. They are very suitable for young adults but will have enough to keep those not so young adults entertained. I really enjoyed this entire set of stories and they all deserve 5 stars, I loved them all. I am going to review each of them separately, the length of the review does not mean that one is better than the others, they are all great. I just had more to say about some.
Forbidden by Amy Miles
This is very suitable for YA, it is full of teenage angst and I really enjoyed that along with the trends of high schoolers. The story starts out grabbing you right from the beginning with Roseline’s birth to immortality. What is interesting is watching her adapt to life in Chicago as a real teenager.
The story keeps you guessing about a lot of things, you wonder what is going on with Rose and Gabriel, especially Gabriel. You struggle to try to figure out who Nicolea is and why does he bother Sadie so much. You have a lot of questions and when one is answered to some degree, another one pops up. The author keeps the reader wondering and guessing right to the very end of the story.
Speaking of the ending, the last chapters move so fast and have so much action in them that you want to read faster to find out what is going to happen. It keeps the reader on the edge of their seat wondering what the outcome will be, who will live and who will die.
I have to say that this story made me want to read more about Rose’s life and find out exactly what the prophecy is since that and other questions were left open. I am totally hooked on reading more of Amy Miles’ stories.
Shaken by Susan Hatler
I started to read this and while it was well written, I thought “this is not my cup of tea”. But I kept reading. Soon mysteries started to mount and the action became more intense and I found myself really enjoying the story. There was just enough mystery and action to keep my interest but it is a very suitable book for young adults.
My Wolf’s Bane by Veronica Blade
This is a pretty fast paced story. I really enjoyed it because every time you thought you knew the answer to the questions in Autumn’s head, you find out that you are wrong. Also, there is a lot of mystery still to be uncovered even by the end of the story; there are so many things I still want to know.
There were times; I wanted to just smack Zack for being so clueless. But that also goes for Autumn who would over think almost everything to do with Zack. Of course, a lot of that probably comes from her sheltered life. Her parents are still a big mystery and I will be curious to see if my assumptions about them turn out to be right. I am very much looking forward to reading the next book of Zack and Autumn’s life.
Rise from Darkness by Ciara Knight
As usual, Ciara Knight’s story takes you through a lot of twists and turns and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I really liked how she used real life medical situations like depression to relate to the Angels and Demons. It is strange to think about this but you can really only talk about werewolves, vampires, angels and demons in the context of a book or show. If you were not referring to them in that context but claimed to see them in real life, you would be considered to be a bit crazy. This correlation between a psychotic episode and demonic possession is not something new but Ms. Knight brings it into the story in a new way that makes so much sense.
I see that there is the epic battle of good vs evil going on in this story. Like most good vs evil stories, there is the biblical dimension to it. Having read many stories using this theme, I really liked how she handled it. It is not cookie cutter but has different elements that make you want to know what is going to happen and who will really win especially since it was clearly stated that evil won the last time.
I didn’t enjoy these short stories. I felt that they were either too short to really convey the story or that they just didn’t really able to catch my attention. I mostly ended up skim read through them just to finish them.
