Three times best selling author Dawn Robertson was born and raised in Connecticut before relocating to Florida in 2013. The same year first novel, Hers debuted as an Amazon Best Seller. Replicating that success with two additional novels in the following years.

The Indie publishing world has grown to love her raw writing style depicting strong
women in real life situations, topping the charts in erotica, romance, and romance-suspense. Robertson has even insinuated that the female characters in her book mirror her real life. But, that I'll leave to speculation.

When Dawn Robertson is not writing she is a full-time Real Estate professional in Florida, and mother of three amazing children.

“Dominatrix, porn stars, strippers, bikers. . . . and a fuckin’ partridge in a pear tree.”

I am sad to see this series come to an end. It’s been almost a year to the date that I first meet this author when I was sent Hers to review, and I fell in love. I fell in love with this amazing author and her colorful characters. His is not as steamy as most of the other books in this series, but I feel the story line is strong and makes up for that. This book is a rollercoaster ride of “what the hell could possibly happen next?” Seven and Levi are bombarded with one anxiety ridden event after another. And in true Seven form, she dominates and pushes her way through. There is a part at the end that had me holding my breath and praying Ms. Robertson would not mess with me, but I can’t say whether or not she did. You will just have to read the book and find out. Trust me when I say, you CAN NOT make assumptions with this author, she has steamrolled me before with her “no she didn’t” twists. Again, I’m sorry to see this series end, but this book is a great conclusion. The good news is these characters will continue on in the next series Hells Renegades. I CAN NOT WAIT!! I give this book 5 stars.

“’You know you can’t just strip naked in front of me like that.’ Levi lets out a growl with his words.”

“I want to remain cold. Cold like I have always been until Levi ruined me. I could have done this so much easier a year ago before he waltzed into my life with his love and his emotion.”

Review to come...

**FULL REVIEW**

“Damned if I do and damned if I don’t. It’s the moments like this that make me regret letting my guard down enough to let him into my life in the first place. My heart is broken. My body is aching and my soul is definitely beyond repair this time. The one person I never thought would turn their back on me just did and I feel all alone in the world.” –Seven

“I’ve tried when it comes to Seven. I’ve tried everything: Bribing her, begging her, and threatening her. Nothing has worked. Nothing has changed. I feel helpless and I hate that feeling. I’m fighting and she just doesn’t care. Her selfishness is killing me.” –Levi

I can’t say that Seven and Levi have an easy marriage. When there is a power struggle between partners, someone always has to give…and when it’s the same person each time, well, they get tired. And soon the fight they once had for anything at all is gone. All that is left is resentment and bitterness.

That is Levi and Seven’s relationship.

Problem is, they have more than just themselves to think about now. Unfortunately, it takes more than just fights and empty threats to get through to Seven…and their daughter is what’s at stake. Never in a million years was I so happy to read that it was enough, that it wasn’t too late. I would have hated for this book to end that way…

No, Dawn had other plans on how this story played out. And while it felt a little scattered at times, mainly because every story has come full circle in the series, I was satisfied with how neatly (and I use that term loosely, because some of this stuff is straight-up DIRTY) this book tied everything together as well as introduced a voice for the next series Robertson is working on.

Back to the story…

I have a new found respect and love for Levi. As much as we wanted to see him as a pushover when it came to Seven in this series, he holds a quiet strength that is unique to just him. At the end of the day, he is exactly who Seven needed as her partner…and that says a lot. No matter how hard she pushed, he stood firm and although felt defeated, never let on and ultimately proved beyond any words that she has met her match. Hell. Yeah.

“I like to think of myself as a reasonable man. I put out what I want to get back in the world. I haven’t gotten everything I consider mine by rolling over and taking one for the team. Especially with it came to catching my stubborn ass wife and keeping her all this time. I am a smart man who knows which battles to pick and which to let go.” –Levi

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is perfect advice. Choose your battles wisely…and you’ll always win. Thank you Dawn, for bringing these characters to life; for showing all sides of the story, and for sharing with the world. I cannot wait to see what happens with Ryker in the next series (he’s the first book—SWOON)!

We’ve followed the journey of the HERS series from Hers, Finding Willow, Kink the Halls, This Girl Stripped, Seven’s Diary, and finally His. Whew – what a ride. Seven is the ultimate Domme bad-ass. Levi not so much. ;) Dawn Robertson brings us full circle with this final book of the HERS series.

This quote in HIS sums the characters up perfectly.

"Dominatrix, porn stars, strippers, bikers…and a f*in' partridge in a pear tree."

HIS took me a bit longer to settle into because the beginning of the book was dealing with the past instead of the present. I was trying to picture everything that happened in my head so it took a little while for me to find my reading groove. HIS actually takes place a year after the incident that happened in Star’s basement (you know the one).

All of our favorites show up in this final book of the HERS series. Seven, Star, Chrome, Levi, Diesel is there for a minute, but the one I want to know more about is Ryker. You remember Ryker as the one who had a thing going on with Diesel, along with others. But, I digress. Ryker. I want more Ryker.

A new character comes to play in this story as well, Lyric. I actually loved her character and I hope that she will return during Ryker’s story. The HIS storyline deals mostly with what is going on in the lives of Seven and Levi, as well as the state of their marriage. Chrome and Levi actually work together at one point and those scenes I found really interesting because Chrome is all biker bad-ass and Levi is a suit who is his total opposite.

Dawn Robertson wraps the HERS series up perfectly and gives everyone their just rewards. If you can overlook the fact that Levi really should man up, I’d say she’s done a terrific job with the entire series. Well Done, Dawn.

This book was absolutely AMAZING!!! Dawn did an excellent job of pulling me in and with all the action going on I could not put this book down!! Seven is always doing exactly what she wants even though most of the time she shouldn’t be. I like that her character shows that you can be a strong independent woman and have everything that you want, but at the same time you do need people to be there for you and look out for you. I am sad that the Hers Series is ending but I can’t wait to see what Dawn has in store for us next. If you haven’t read this series you don’t know what you are missing out on and I highly recommend that you that you read it as soon as possible.

His is another book about Seven James and Levi (The last book in the series..maybe ;) ) and how they are dealing with life with one baby and another on the way. Of course our amazing characters have a ton of drama, like always! It starts off with Seven realizes things must change and she cannot continue to live her life the way it has been going. She must take care of her relationship with Levi and her girls and most importantly, herself.

"She is fucking pushing my buttons. I say black, she says white. I say vanilla, she says fuckin' chocolate and I am losing my mind. She knows how I feel about her safety. She knows how I feel about her working after she has landed in the hospital two fucking times in the past month. But Seven thinks she is fucking Wonder Woman. Immune to the toxic reaction her body is having to the little girl she is carrying. It is all a joke to her, something she can micromanage from behind her expensive desk"

Throughout this book, the point of view is told from many different characters like; Seven's, Levi's, Chrome's, Star's, and Ryker's. I thoroughly enjoy Seven James and her point of view the most. She has always been such a strong character and I can relate so much to her, and the areas I don't I want to be like her.

In this book you really see Seven struggling with herself regarding the possibility of losing Levi with divorce, the struggle of not being her strong self anymore, and just trying to get through this pregnancy without ending up in the funny hospital...AGAIN! It just seems that once it is quiet and peaceful BOOM something crazy happens. Oh it's just another day at the office when you are getting blackmailed for money and you find out your hippy parent has a secret child you never knew about...or never told anyone about :) Of course you will have your kinky scenes (that's a given) and your chaos, so GET YASELF READY!

I was really surprised by how much I fell in love with this mystery sibling, Lyric. She is so perfect and innocent and I desperately was finding myself rooting for her the entire time. HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY HATE SOMEONE SO PURE!

"I'm sorry to stare. I know it is rude but, my god....You...we..." I pause trying to get my statement out, but I am somewhat in shock as we eye each other. "Look so much alike?" She finishes the statement for me with a shadow of a smile spreading across her face. "Yeah," I say in my daze."
Of course we hear more from Master Vince. yuck. That guy is such a douche.

The thing I like the most about this book is that it is believable and I don't care who you are, you are always wanting what is best for the characters in this book (Besides the bad guys obvs). I wanted this book to go on and on but alas it must end. You will not want to put this book down once you start it. Personally, I would rate this entire series a 5/5 because it got me excited about reading again and that gift is priceless my friends.

If you guys don't pre order this book y'all are crazy! It is so amazing!

We love this series but all good things must come to an end. His is told in past and present as well as a few POVs we dive into our favourite kinky expanded family. There is so much we could say but there is WAY too much we would give away. If you think you have this book figured out, think again.

Life hasn't been kind to Seven and Levi, they have been through a rough patch of late and past memories remind them of their struggles and where they are today. A lot of past fears are haunting Levi and the life he has with Seven. Making him a little more in tune with his emotions, those emotions aren't on show. He only has Seven and Marley's best interests at heart, they are his whole world.

Now we all know that Seven is a force to be reckoned with and no man will ever tell her what she can and can't do, including Levi. While she has her moments she will never fold and become someone she's not. Living a life she never wanted but is slowly coming to terms with isn't easy, being told to rest is a four letter word Seven isn't familiar with. She needs control in all aspects of her life but will she push Levi into making decisions he doesn't want to make but left with no choice?

Moments and events in their lives change their outlook on every aspect. Things are changing and moving forward for the better. But just when it appears that things are back on track and you are getting somewhere, your past always seems to come back biting you in the ass, and biting hard!

When people are out to ruin them, Seven does not take this lying down. She is ready with all guns blazing, Levi however would rather deal with this and get it over and done with. Although her bossy nature has him hard for her, the chemistry between Levi and Seven is still as hot as it was when they first got together. The hits keep on coming with one surprise after another.

Seven, Levi, Chrome, Star and the others are one big family, when you mess with one you mess with them all. The girls may have had a hard upbringing but they are now a strong family unit.

"When did he Seven James we all know and love return with vengeance?" Star asks with a smile.
"When someone decided to fuck with my family again."

There are so many quotes we would have loved to put in this review, at times we were laughing out loud but those quotes would have given things away.

Thank you Dawn Robertson for taking us on the Her's journey, Seven is by far one of our favourite female characters. For those of you who love the Her's series you won't be disappointed.

The author does a nice job of scaring you into thinking Levi & Seven are on the rocks in this book. Actually too good of job - I waited to buy this book because of that fear. Rest assured that the kinky reckless couple are as tight as ever. It is just a new balancing act between kinky crazy boardroom Seven & the new loving mother hen Seven. I was confused in the beginning because of the way it hops around in time - first we have Levi throwing divorce papers at Seven while she is pregnant with Marley. Then we have the present time where all of a sudden Marley is born & Seven is already pregnant again. Then we flop back in time a bit & relive the moment when Seven kills Zane & basically goes off the deep end. Understandably Levi is at the end of his rope trying to protect Seven & his unborn daughter when he takes the drastic road of divorce. Vince from the kink club is blackmailing Seven & Levi as well as Seven & Star, having videos of both of their sex sessions. When they all put their heads together they decide they want to buy the kink club instead & get Vince off their backs. You know Seven can't stay out of trouble & when she takes matters into her own hands with Vince she ends up in serious danger...again! Lyric, the newest member of this crazy family, is kidnapped by an unwanted member of the family. Seven becomes very close with her new half-sister who looks just like her but with a softness & innocence that Ryker can't resist. He is on the rebound after Journey moves away to chase Rider - are you following all this? And why don't we have a separate book about Rider?? Lyric & Ryker curl up in bed together after she is back safe & sound & I'm begging them, please hook up! In the morning Ryker is back on his bike with the wind at his back, breaking Lyric's heart. Favorite moments: When Chrome & his motorcycle club help Levi rescue Lyric, Levi says, "You call them criminals. I call them family." And of course I love the small level of kink that Levi & Seven have kept in their relationship, especially when Levi relives his submissive days with Seven using toys on him from behind - is there anything hotter than that? Well, yes, there would be. Star & Seven joke about how they'd love to see Chrome & Levi together - ME TOO!!

This is the 6th and final book in the Hers Series by Dawn Robertson. I've followed this series from beginning to end and I have to admit I pretty much loved all of the books.
This book is the conclusion to Seven and Levi's story but it does have the other characters from the series that I've grown to love and care for. When I first started this series I wasn't a fan of Seven at all in fact I found myself not really liking her but I was captivated by Levi and what he saw in her. Then there was her best friend Star who I found myself wondering about. Needless to say because of Levi and Star I decided to continue reading this series and I'm glad I did.
With each book in the series we delve deeper into the lives of Seven James and her friends Star and Paisley Bloom. Three women who grew up living in a bus together with their families. As the series progressed I found myself slowly feeling more for Seven but I still couldn't fully bring myself to fully like her but after reading this book I have a whole new level of respect and love for Seven.
There's so much that happens in this book that I really don't even know where to begin, so just let me say that from beginning to end you will be taken on quite the ride. Besides getting a deeper look into the past of Levi Parker we also discover that Seven has a half-sister but don't worry that's only a tad bit of what goes on in this book. This book was full of twists and turns I didn't see coming.
I laughed and cried as I spent one more day with Seven and Levi, Star and Chrome, Paisley and Diesel, Ryker, and meeting Lyric. It was nice to get an update on River. I miss him but he needs to sort out his demons. Journey made an appearance and I hate to say it but I really don't like her.

Dawn I couldn't think of a better way to end this series and to lead into your next series Hell's Renegades which is entitled Ryker: Hell's Renegades MC #1. Ok so if you haven't read the Hers series yet stop hesitating and go out and get this series now. You will come to care for these couples as much as I do once you read this awesome series.

His is the fifth and final installment in the Hers Series. While I am sad to see the crew go, it was done perfectly and beautifully. I have followed all of the books in this series. I love all of the characters and have enjoyed reading all of their stories. It was fitting to end the series with Seven and Levi. They were the start after all, and Seven is somewhat the matriarch of the group.
His is the back and forth with Seven and Levi. The troubles they have faced through their relationship and basically their relationship hitting rock bottom. We see a lot of Seven and Levi coming to terms with their own issues, not just their issues with each other. As is with any relationship, they begin to evaluate themselves and it was nice to see Seven’s evolution in comparison to when the readers met her in Hers.
Dawn Robertson did an incredible job with the end of the series. While there is sadness with any ending, there was closure with the crew. We say goodbye to them, knowing that everything ended for each character how it needed to. Thank you Dawn for writing such an incredible series, and allowing me to follow it from the beginning to the end and bringing such an eclectic bunch of characters to my Kindle and into my heart.

WOW, I am so sad to see this series end. I fell in love with the characters from the very start and watched them grow and transform into who you see in His.

Seven was, and always will be, my favorite kick-ass girl. I love the growth she showed in this book! She transformed into something even better that what she had been, and takes life by the balls. She has her own way of doing things, and everyone seems to fall in line behind her. However, they all have a place in that line and they work together like a well-oiled machine.

I am not going to ruin things for anyone but let me tell you, you will not be disappointed by the story. The group has to deal with treats, people from the past, and the introduction of a new character. Even though there have been five other books in the Hers series, Dawn kept the storyline flowing and the characters awesome.

There are things that happen in this book that you won’t see coming until the characters do. I was shocked when they happened and I wanted to cry right along with them. Dawn kept things well hidden until it was time for them to be revealed and as a reader, it’s refreshing to not who what coming next.

I cannot wait to see what Dawn comes up with next. I know we will be seeing these guys here and there in the next series, so thankfully I am not as brokenhearted as I could be. ~ Devlynn, 4.5 stars

I have always loved Seven from the very start or the HERS Series, she is such a badass, and I love her take no prisoners attitude. HIS is the end of the HERS Series that told from Seven and Levi’s POV’s (you also get a little glimpse of some other characters thoughts too). Seven and Levi are trying to put their life back in order, when a blast from the past tries to mess with them and their family.

This book was an awesome end to the series, I love that we got revisit with some of the characters that started the whole series. Seven and Levi have had a rocky marriage, but they totally complete each other and I am such a Levi fan. He is absolutely perfect for my girl Seven.

This book had my emotions on high alert and kept me guessing to what was going to happen in the end. There are some major twists in this book that I did not see coming and couple of new characters come into play, but I don’t want to ruin it for you guys, so mums the word!

Even thought this is the end of the HERS Series, I can’t wait to see what Dawn has in store for us in the future, more Ryker please! If you have not read the HERS Series, what are you waiting for?

Once again Dawn Robertson has written an amazing book!! This series is what brought me to love Dawn and I hate to see it end…Although I am excited for her next series the Hells Renegades!!!

This book had me going through a roller coaster of emotions!! Seven James has been a bada$$ from the beginning. I have seen her go through many up and downs and have some very vulnerable moments throughout the Hers series, all of which made her more likable. She is by far one of my favorite characters! In HIS you see her work through her weakness and come back to the bada$$ take no shit woman we have all loved from the beginning. Seven F-ing James is back!! She learns to open up and let new people in. The relationship with her and Lyric is sweet, super excited to have more of her story. I love the MC characters being brought more into the book and the dynamic with them all together is great. I was excited that Ryker is back into the story and cannot wait for his story to be out!! Great end to the series and transition to the next!!

If you have not read the Hers Series what are you waiting for?!?!?!

WOW!! Dawn Robertson is a genius with the Hers Series!! I loved all the books, but I think I really loved His. So many things happening in this book, some the same, some different. What I really loved was that we got to hear from Levi's point of view as well. His shows us so much into Seven and Levi's life. You actually get to see the struggles Seven deals with and she actually lets others see them as well. With Levi you find out so much more about him and his life. The love Levi and Seven share are amazing, erotic, and at the same time a little crazy, but that is what makes them work. Seven gets so many more surprises thrown at her; some of which she will do everything she can to try and kept out of the pubic eye. In His you also get to see the sensitive side of Seven as she juggles the life of being a wife, mom, an CEO. I can't write too much without giving things away. But this is a book you really need to read, just make sure you read in the Series order first.

**I received this book as an ARC, in exchange for an honest review**

What can I say about this series other than its one of the best. His is a great ending to this series. Dawn knows how to write a strong leading women character, Seven and Star are brilliantly written she can also can write a man with some of the best names out there (male names are my thing). Was sad to see the ending of this series but she sets us up for her next series Hell's Renegades with the first book being Ryker, If you don't remember Ryker she reminds you who he is and I want more of Lyric in his book. You will meet Lyric in His and love her as much as Seven well almost as much because no one is better than Seven James!

I think I knew going into this book that it was going to make me cry. Following Dawn's "Hers" series has been one heck of a ride and I, like a bazillion other fans, just wasn't sure I was ready to let Seven and the gang go.

But "His" isn't just an ending. It's a beautiful beginning to so many other amazing stories! It's a culmination of all the drama and upheaval that both Star and Seven have dealt with in their lives. It's a story of family, of a group of people brought together by more than blood and DNA. And you can't forget the sex. Dawn Robertson writes one hell of a sex scene and Levi and Seven surely know how to act it out.

This was a little hard for me to get into. Only because i haven't read the ones before this but,it was still a good book! The characters were spit fires like I have never seen before! The thing I took away from this book is to always be true to yourself! Always love your man like it's nothing else and treat your kids like you would want to be treated. No matter how screwed up your life is blood does not always make them family! It's the people you surround yourself with! I will definitely pick up the other books to read them!

Review by Natasha Gentile

HIS is the last book about Seven James and Levi. This story takes you into their lives. They are dealing with everyday life and now not only are they parents, but they are expecting another one. Obviously if you have followed them from the first book Hers, you know that there is drama. It wouldn’t be them if there wasn’t any drama.

The story starts off with Seven finally realizing that she must change herself, that she has to actually make changes and I have to say it’s about freaking time. She also notices that she must change her relationship with Levi, if they will remain together.

"She is fu#*ng pushing my buttons. I say black, she says white. I say vanilla, she says fu#*in' chocolate and I am losing my mind. She knows how I feel about her safety. She knows how I feel about her working after she has landed in the hospital two fu#*ing times in the past month. But Seven thinks she is fu#*ing Wonder Woman. Immune to the toxic reaction her body is having to the little girl she is carrying. It is all a joke to her, something she can micromanage from behind her expensive desk"

I got a little confused during the book because of all the different POV's throughout it. There are views from every single character in this series; Seven's, Levi's, Chrome's, Star's, and Ryker's. I understand what the author was attempting to do by incorporating everyone in the last book, I just thought it was a little confusing at times.

In the book you see Seven finally starting to realize that maybe there is a possibility that she will actually lose Levi; she also is having a inner fight with herself. You see she wants to still be that kick ass female who doesn’t bend to anyone, she just has to see that she can have it all, it’s right there in her hand, all you have to do is learn to bend.

And of course it wouldn’t be the same without finding out another secret from her hippie parents...

In the end it was just too much drama for me, but I am glad I was able to read the ending to this, or is it really the end?

I'm sad to hear this is the finale of the Hers Series. . . BUT Dawn couldn't have wrapped it up for us any better!! Seven, Levi and the crew are back for more and shit from the past haunts them and tests their limits (pun intended)! We see Seven in all her raw, steel glory take the reins to prove she won't let anyone step over, around, or through her! I feel Seven has come full circle (emotionally as well as her physical location) and is more complete as herself in this final novel. Levi is her rock, and as much as she tries to fight that truth, Seven knows it and accepts it. This may be the end of the Hers Series, but we meet new characters that I'm dying to read more about in Dawn's upcoming Hell's Renegade series. . . Ahem, Ryker!! I'm sad to say goodbye to this crew, but I truly feel Dawn left them in a place that was true to them, their needs, their sanity, and their happiness. I've been a fan of Dawn's and loved this series from the beginning. I feel as though all of the characters grew from their extreme family of origins to make their own adult lives more balanced and healthy. I'll always remember this family and what they grew from--their stories have stuck with me where I often need a refresher when reading the next installment in a series. Well, not this series!! With each new installment I was able to pick the next up and jump in right away because they're just there, in my mind, and that's because of Dawn's writing and how her characters speak, how they carry themselves, their back stories...that have just stuck!! Dawn has given us a little of everything in this series: Masters, a Domme, subs, porn star, loser brother, "taken care of someone", siblings, effed up parents, hippies, adoption, running away, CEO, kink, tops, bottoms, stripper, pregnancies, abortion, babies, fights, bikers, angst, love, rage, and trust. I could go on forever. Dawn has brought this all into one non-blood family, and because of all these experiences that have occurred they're a solid family, and I'll miss them! Thank you, Dawn...this was a memorable ride!! Give this a try and find your next book crush!!

His (Hers #5)
By: Dawn Robertson
5/5 stars

This is the conclusion to not only Seven & Levi’s story but also to the Hers series. I’m sad that it’s over because I’ve really enjoyed this series. However, beings that it’s over, I’m also sad that River (Chrome’s younger brother) didn’t get a story. He got the shaft with both Star & Paisley, so I really wanted a book for him to get his HEA. Maybe there will be a stand-alone for him…

We get to see what drove Seven to the mental break she had and it was a combination of events. First she was pregnant & was disobeying doctor’s orders to take it easy & take a break from work. Since she refused, thus putting her and baby’s life in danger, she drove Levi to his breaking point, until he was forced to go to the extremes to get her attention. Then, as we saw in Paisley’s book, she tied down, tortured & killed the man who had brutally beat & raped Paisley. The stress caused her to go into early labor & the health issues that their daughter faced was just too much for her to handle.

Then the book picks up about a year later and we see how Levi & Seven are working through their issues in order to make their marriage work & survive. There are twists and turns that are thrown in that could cause setbacks, but they both tackle them as a couple instead of letting it trip them up. Some of the twists only cause emotional strain, while others are more nefarious.

We do get to see more of Chrome & Star and more of Chrome’s motorcycle club, the Hell’s Renegades. We get to see quite a bit of Ryker, who will be the male main character in book 1 of the Hell’s Renegades series. So even though this series is over, the characters might be seen in the some of the Hell’s Renegades books.

~ Devlynn,

The end has come for the Hers series and I have to tell you, I was so heart broken hearing this. Knowing we will see more of Seven, Levi, MLP loving Star and the rest of the merry band of bikers in Dawn Robertson's next series takes the sting out of saying goodbye to this wonderful collection.

His was just flat out amazing. Dawn's story telling ability absolutely shined in this book. The different POVs were well blended into the story and I loved seeing Ryker's perspective, knowing that we will see more of him in the MC series. The characters stayed true to themselves throughout the book. She expertly wove a little bit of suspense, a whole lot of hot, comic relief, the introduction of new characters and BFF/bro-mance moments into an amazing piece of art.

I love, love, love that we see the return of balls to the wall, take no prisoners, all around bad ass Seven, instead of the watered down version of Seven she thought she had to be due to motherhood. Although it's titled His, this book is not just about Levi. It's about the whole Woodstock family, old and new and I don't think it could have been done any better. A great final entry to the Hers series, I will happily read the whole lot of them from beginning to end. I wouldn't change a thing!! Seven stars (ok, truly 5, but humor me) to His!!!

I really enjoyed His by Dawn Robertson. I think it takes off right at the end of This Girl Stripped. In fact Dawn even incorporated some of the end of the book into His, I'm assuming to kind of catch the reader up. It's a good idea to read Seven's Diary before His because you will understand it a little more. In his Levi and Seven are back in her hometown. They are trying to live a more quiet life and settle down a little. Seven has also agreed to find a person to help take over her company. It's really hard for her though. Oh yeah and she is pregnant.... Again... Also through in the owner of the club that she and Levi met in who is trying to get money out of them by threatening to release some video of them taken in the club. I think Seven handles everything like a champ and she doesn't even have a nervous breakdown. I think His is a good ending to the Hers Series and a good beginning to the MC series starting with Ryker.

The author redeems herself somewhat in the final book. Whether it's simply having read all of them, we finally have a smidgeon of understanding as to who these characters are and what their motivations are (which really should have been understood from the get go), or as she reaches the climax of her series perhaps it inevitable that everyone's stories conclude and resolve, and we as the readers can finally plug in for ourselves based on the "big picture" what structurally and stylistically the author was incapable of providing in regards to depth of characters in each stand alone novel.

The editing is terrible in this book. Misuse of words abound, back of book links to purchase appear at the end of first portion of the book (what I assume was originally a teaser chapter in the first one), and like every other book - there lacks continuity between stories that result in plot holes.

3.5 stars on this one. I love the characters in this series. Seven is kick ass! This book started out great and ended strong, but the middle felt forced. It didn't flow as well as the others did. I was torn on the rating...parts of this book I loved, but others just detracted from it too much. The middle of the book felt to me like a rough draft, or that last minute changes were made to either lengthen or shorten it. That being said, if another book is written with these characters I definitely want to read it.

Le'sigh...... I wasn't ready for this series to come to an end. I feel like these characters are a part of my family, and I don't want to say goodbye! With that being said, I think that 'His' was the perfect way for the story to come to an end. (if it absolutely had to) Levi is a such a strong and sweet man, who would do anything for the love of his life. <-and that he sure did! A side bonus to this book is you get to see a sneak peek into Dawn's next series......Ryker! <---Oooo la la!

I thought this was a great book to wrap up the series! I enjoyed this book the most out of the series. You know, I really didn't have a lot of love for Levi and Chrome in the beginning, they just didn't stick out to me. But boy did they change my mind in this book! There was a lot that went on in this book and I loved that Seven is and always will be badass. I totally want to be her friend! The delivery part was halrious. For me personally, I felt each book got better and better.

I am so sad that this is the end of the Her's series! With that said, this book was the best ending! I loved everything about this story! I was very surprised with some of the turns and was on edge most of the time! haha. I am so happy for Seven and the whole gang and the new addition of Lyric! Such an amazing series with the coolest, most badass female character and such an amazing ending!
