From the cult horror film comes a chilling novelization filled with suspense, action, and undead vengeance-Maniac Cop is back on patrol.
I don't know how he keeps doing this, but Christian has managed to turn what I'm sure is a garbage movie into a very interesting nostalgia tale.
You can visualise the terrible 80s makeup effects and prosthetics and far too pink blood that the movie likely used, and all of that because of the imagery and scenes that Christian sets with his detailed words.
As a fan of 80s slashers, I really enjoyed this novelization.
Maniac Cop has never been a great movie (even by 80s slasher standards) but nostalgia plays a big role here, and you can picture Tom Atkins and Bruce Campbell as you read through this book.
Great violence and gore and suspenseful sequences.
I love that older horror movies are getting novelizations. Please do Waxwork next.
This was a ‘break neck pace’ read for me. I loved the action and the kills were so horrific! I love slashers and this one did not disappoint! I’m definitely going to read parts 2&3 soon!
