Tamara Ali is a Trinidadian writer and professional daydreamer. Although she publishes under her real name, Tamara also goes by girlwiththepurplepen. She uses her purple pen to express the things she cannot merely speak. Tamara wants to use her books to give the world a look into the hidden feelings that are so prevalent amongst Caribbean youths and women.
