Falling Apart and Other Gifts from the Universe

Rate this book
Two disparate people—lost in their own way—find an unexpected healing connection in a poignant novel about redemption and chosen family by New York Times bestselling author Catherine Ryan Hyde.

An army veteran with a career as a beat cop behind her, security guard Addie Finch is tough—on the outside. Internally, she’s in crisis mode. She’s lonely, introverted, struggling through AA, estranged from her son, and, at sixty-two years old, questioning her role as a protector. She also has a soft spot for the underdog that’s about to change her life.

Addie finds Jonathan, a homeless teenager abandoned by his mother, holed up in a warehouse and vulnerable to the elements and to predators. Touched by the boy’s gentle nature and a wisdom beyond his years, Addie offers him temporary shelter in her garden shed in exchange for maintaining the sprawling property. It’s an act of kindness and purpose that means the world to Jonathan. But when Addie faces a situation that sends her internal world tumbling, the emotional connection with Jonathan, once the unlikeliest of strangers, becomes her lifeline as well.

As both process past traumas, Addie and Jonathan forge a surrogate grandmother-grandson bond—a chosen family that could restore trust and heal hearts they thought were broken forever.

EXCERPT: ' . . . you can't sleep here.'
She could hear the young man breathing, but for a long time he said nothing at all. He moved his arm away from his eyes, and Addie saw he'd been crying. A lot, from the look of it.
'Have you ever been just completely at the end of your rope?' he asked her after a time.
'More than once,' Addie said, 'if I'm being honest.'
'I have no place else to go. I just had the worst night I ever had in my life. Literally. And I've had some bad ones. Please. What am I hurting if I sleep here one night?'
'You're hurting me. I need this job, and the gist of the whole gig is making sure you don't sleep here, and I could lose my job for letting you. And I can't let that happen.'
'Who would even know?'
'Honey,' Addie said, 'there are cameras everywhere.'
'Oh.'
Addie holstered her gun while he struggled to his feet. She watched his movements carefully, and they confirmed her suspicion that he was in pain.
'You get beat up tonight?' she asked him.
'Something like that,' he said, his eyes cast down toward the concrete floor.
That was when Addie did something she normally would not have done. She did it with little thought, if any, though she would later look back and wonder what had changed in that moment and why.
'Come with me,' she said. 'It's nothing bad.'
He followed her out into the parking lot.
She led him to her aging SUV and unlocked the back door, holding it wide for him.
'You can lock it from the inside,' she said. 'One night. But wait. Before you get in . . .'
She took hold of the sleeve of his sweater and pulled him under one of the light posts. Then she took a picture of him with her phone.
'What's that for?' he asked.
'If you steal my car in the night I'll have this to show to the police.'
'How can I steal your car without keys?'
'The fact that you don't know that makes me feel more secure.'
They walked back to the SUV together, and he threw his backpack in first. Then he gingerly climbed in, easing himself down onto his belly in the back seat.
Addie was helping him bend his legs so she could close the door when he spoke. 'Wait,' he said. 'Lady.'
'What?'
'Do you believe in Karma?'
'I don't know. I don't suppose I do, no. Why? Do you?'
'I'm not sure,' he said. 'But just now I got bowled over by how much I want it to be true right now. I want the universe to give you some big, wonderful thing as a reward because you were kind tonight to somebody who really, really needed it.'
'Just get some sleep,' Addie said, and closed the SUV's back door.
But inside her very tired brain she could feel herself clinging to the idea of a big, wonderful thing from the universe.

'I really, really need it,' she thought.

MY THOUGHTS: There's nothing quite as nice and rewarding as a Catherine Ryan Hyde book when you want a read that will restore your faith in humanity. As always, she handles any potential triggers with sensitivity, and she warns readers of them in her preface.

The author is a skilled storyteller and imbues her characters with common and very real flaws making them relatable and realistic. I was certainly rooting for the big-hearted Addie and the homeless Jonathan right the way through. I liked the way Jonathan never wanted to take advantage of Addie's kindness yet knew she was a safe bet for help when he most needed it.

Addie has had her share of struggles over the years, and her story is slowly revealed to the reader through her conversations with Jonathan and also via her brother Bill whom Jonathan calls on for help when he becomes concerned for Addie.

We also meet an addict named Jeannie whom Addie and Jonathan take under their wings and provide a haven for. And just in case you are thinking that this is a simplistic story that turns out well for all the characters, I'm going to disabuse you of that notion right now.

Yes, this is a heartwarming, feel-good read for the most part, but it is also a realistic one which makes the point that people have to want to be helped before that help has any chance of succeeding, and that the road to recovery from any addiction is a rocky one with as little as a 3% success rate.

I loved this book. It is filled with kindness and hope. Catherine Ryan Hyde has touched my heart and my soul.

I combined reading with listening to Falling Apart and Other Gifts From the Universe written by Catherine Ryan Hyde and narrated by Michael Crouch and Colleen Marlo. I loved both formats.

Addie Finch is quite a character. She is an army veteran who has spent time in the police force and is now making ends meet working as a security guard. She is also a 62 year old alcoholic, staying dry with the aid of Alcoholics Anonymous, whose son will not speak to her. So when she meets Jonathan, a homeless teenager, she takes him into her home and eventually her heart as well.

This is a beautifully told story of two lost people who eventually save each other. I only discovered this author fairly recently and I am continually surprised by her imagination, her story telling and her ability to capture the essence of the people she is writing about. Highly recommended and five stars from me.

Ex-army veteran and LAPD police officer Addie Finch is her early sixties, she’s working as a security guard, and she’s intimidating and you wouldn’t expect her to have a soft spot for anyone. Addie's a loner and introvert, a recovering alcoholic and attends regular AA meetings, she’s been estranged from her son for eleven years and her brother lives in Texas.

Addie patrols a storage facility, they have a problem with homeless teens breaking into the units and an old warehouse. One night she comes across Jonathan, he’s been hurt, Addie helps him and she finds herself worrying if he’s safe and unharmed.

Jonathan is seventeen, his mother kicked him out because she had a new boyfriend and his dad is an alcoholic, that's how he ended up on the streets, and he can’t believe it when Addie offers him a safe place to sleep, in exchange for tidying up her huge and overgrown garden.

Her brother Bills thinks she has lost her mind, it’s an act of kindness and it means the world to Jonathan. But when Addie faces a situation that brings everything back, her dad being an alcoholic and what happened to in the military and she has to fight her demons and the three people help her are Bill, Wendy her sponsor and Jonathan.

I received a copy of Falling Apart and other Gifts from the Universe from Lake Union Publishing and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Catherine Ryan Hyde is the bestselling author of stories about people who are down, struggling and facing hardship and adversity.

Addie and Jonathan forge a bond, an unexpected one, and she didn't judge him on being a homeless teenager.

Five stars from me, I highly recommend if you like narratives about overcoming challenges, second chances, relationships and found families. It does mention addiction, the importance of attending AA meetings and having a sponsor, sexual abuse and this could be a trigger for some.

As Addie Finch struggled with her AA visits after her sponsor had died, she requested Wendy, a thirty five year free member, to be her sponsor. Addie had been alcohol free for eight years, but was struggling with much more. Wendy's wisdom and caring lessons would be up against the proverbial brick wall. Addie worked as a security guard, overlooking an old warehouse which usually housed squatters; young people who were homeless and desperate for somewhere dry to sleep. It also housed a predator. When Addie first met Jonathan, he'd been in that warehouse and had been beaten and abused. Taking him under her wing felt right to her...

Jonathan was a gentle, kind young man who'd been treated badly since he was young. Finding Addie felt like coming home to him, and they formed a friendship which became a grandmother/grandson bond. But between them both, they had things to overcome, hearts to heal and past traumas to forgive. Could they both do it? A sixty three year old woman and an eighteen year old teenager?

Falling Apart & Other Gifts from the Universe is another spectacular novel from Catherine Ryan Hyde, an author on top of her game. Jonathan and Addie were special, though I was beginning to think Addie wouldn't pull herself out of the mire. Wendy was an exceptional sponsor, while Bill & Spencer played their parts well. All in all, a brilliant novel, though I've come to expect nothing less by this author. Highly recommended.

Catherine Ryan Hyde is a skillful architect of storytelling. Her powerful and much-needed spotlight on homeless youth, a part of society that many would rather ignore, showcases her ability to tell a story with tremendous heart and astonishing reporting skills. This heartfelt story is a call to action.

If you haven’t experienced this author’s stellar work, what are you waiting for?

Addie Finch has a big heart. She also needs to be rescued. So do two at-risk youth she meets while at work. The three of them save each other…in many shapes and forms over multiple occasions.

💜 This is the book I didn’t know I needed.

I’m forever changed. Thank you.

I received a free copy of, Falling Apart and Other Gifts from the Universe, by Catherine Ryan Hyde, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Addie Finch has been through a lot in over 6 decades of life, army vet, former cop, AA member, Addie has a lot going on, and some lingering anxiety. Addie meets a homeless teenager who needs help. This was a good read, but a heavy read. Addiction, homelessness, low self esteem, and more. I enjoyed this book, more than I thought I would.

Thanks to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for access to this title. All opinions expressed are my own.

Catherine Ryan Hyde's stories always leave me with a smile from ear to ear. Falling Apart and Other Gifts from the Universe brings Army veteran, ex- police officer and recovering alcoholic, Adele, to cross paths with Jonathan, a runaway teen living on the streets. When Adele offers Jonathan a place to stay, the two begin a pathway to healing the hurts of their pasts.

Look, there is a big reason that Catherine Ryan Hyde has her own shelf on my Goodreads page. I don't just read her stories. I fall into them for a few hours, and I walk along with her characters who all, in their own way, touch my heart. I always feel a little sad when I come to the end of her stories. Not just from an emotional level, but one in which I know I am going to miss her characters very much.

If you haven't read one of her titles, what are you waiting for?

3.5 stars. I've been slowly making my way through Catherine Ryan Hyde's many books, and enjoying each one. This one is not my favorite of what I've read so far, but still very strong. Two very broken people come together and help each other heal, and I come away much inspired and feeling much more hopeful. Looking forward to more from this author, both from before this latest book and those that come after.

Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for a digital ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinions.

Falling Apart and Other Gifts From The Universe is a novel by award-winning, bestselling American author, Catherine Ryan Hyde. At sixty-two, Addie Finch should be just about ready to retire. But despite two tours of duty in Iraq and eleven years as a beat cop with the LAPD, she can’t afford to give up her fairly new job as a night-time security guard at a self-storage facility.

Addie is a recovering alcoholic, eight years sober, with only the house she inherited from her late parents to her name. The storage place is near an abandoned warehouse that is used by the homeless as shelter, and Addie brings her own gun to work for protection.

Her new AA sponsor has recommended she do another Inventory of her life, which is what she’s writing when she spots someone entering an empty storage unit on the monitor. The teen is cold and distraught, having just escaped a violent assault in the warehouse: she lets him sleep in her car. His heartfelt gratitude for this small act stays with her, and after a second encounter, she hatches a plan to keep him safe.

Jonathan Westerbrook, almost eighteen, has been homeless since not long after his mother sent him to live with his father, a mean drunk: Jonathan was in the way of her new relationship. He’s truly grateful for Addie’s kindness, but doesn’t want to press his luck. He’s tentative when he brings Jeannie, another almost victim of the violent predator who randomly attacks at the warehouse, asking only for cups of coffee.

The arrangement Addie and Jonathan make sees him doing gardening and maintenance in exchange for the refuge and facilities of her garden shed. He sees home-grown vegetables in their future, but before that can eventuate, Addie will face an internal crisis that precipitates what is almost a role reversal. The mature young man is more than equal to the task, while not hesitating to connect with others who care about the woman who has become his informally adopted grandmother.

Addie fears turning into her violent father, feels guilty for the lack of support she gave to her older brother, his regular victim, and the action she took against the warehouse predator sits uncomfortably inside her, but reconnecting with family presents another perspective. Much of Addie’s backstory is told through her inventory, and Jonathan’s, from what he shares with Addie.

Ryan Hyde prefaces the story with a trigger warning about the mention of assault on the vulnerable homeless, but in the story, she handles it with care and sensitivity. Her characters have depth and integrity along with some very human flaws, and she gives them insightful observations and words of wisdom. It’s almost impossible for the reader not to cheer them on, to want them to overcome their challenges and succeed. Thought-provoking, but also hopeful, moving and heart-warming.

Addie Finch, a retired cop and Army veteran, is working nights as a security guard at a storage facility. As a recovering alcoholic, Addie feels lost and alone, especially since she is now estranged from her only son. Then she finds a young unhoused boy, Jonathan, sleeping in the abandoned warehouse next door, scared and running from dangers that are far worse than Addie has ever faced. Feeling an immediate connection to the boy, Addie gives Jonathan a safe place to sleep in the garden shed on the back of her property, hoping that if he’s given a safe space for a night or two, the danger that haunts him will move on. But both Addie and Jonathan end up providing each other with far more than expected and end up forming a relationship that changes both of them for the better.

Catherine Ryan Hyde is the author of the novel, “Pay It Forward”, which was turned into a movie starring Helen Hunt and she hasn’t slowed down since. Now the author of more than fifty heartfelt and emotional novels, her newest release, “Falling Apart and Other Gifts from the Universe” is both charming and tearjerking all at once, taking on serious themes such as addiction and childhood abuse and neglect.

“Falling” is narrated in turns by Addie and Jonathan, and readers get to appreciate a little more about their lives from their own perspectives, forming an understanding as to how the two lost souls connected. “Falling” is about the power of human kindness, and how one seemingly small action can literally change the course of a life.

Hyde’s novel is easy to read in one sitting. Although the subject matter is by no means light and fluffy, the plot itself is also full of hope and positivity, the seemingly easy juxtaposition of these two ideas is exactly how Hyde has become the underappreciated and underrated writer she is today.

Even though the novel had a happy ending, for the most part, there was a devastating component to it that, as heartbreaking as it was, was absolutely necessary in order to add realism to the plot. Hyde portrayed her flawed and human characters with grace and humility, and depicted their struggles with realism and honesty, which makes it easy for readers to immediately sympathize with her characters, regardless of their imperfections.

I am always shocked by Hyde’s books, in a good way. For some reason, even though I’ve read many, the raw emotion in her novels always catches me off guard. I find myself instantly charmed by her characters and delighted by her well-formed, authentic plot. “Falling” is powerful and it will definitely find a way to stand out among the crowd, as Hyde’s books continue to do year after year.

First and foremost, I am a big fan of Catherine Ryan Hyde (CRH) and her work. This is the ninth book of hers that I have read and all of them are 4-5star reviews. CRH is such a great writer and storyteller. I’m also not ashamed to say that so many of the ones that I’ve read have been tear-jerkers for me. All of her stories are just so poignant and meaningful with such strong messages that revolve around some really tough topics. I’ve found myself relating to some of her stories on such a personal level.

The book summary introduces the primary storyline of Addie meeting Jonathan when she finds him taking refuge in an empty storage unit at the storage facility where Addie works the graveyard shift. Jonathan, who had been staying at the abandoned warehouse next to the storage facility, is suffering from a beating from another homeless person, Skate, who also stays at the warehouse. Skate had attacked Jonathan and tried to molest/rape him. Jonathan soon befriends another homeless resident at the warehouse, Jeannie, who Jonathan rescued when Skate tried to molest/rape her too.

There is also a secondary storyline of Addie, a recovering alcoholic with eight years of sobriety, working through her AA steps with a new sponsor after her previous one passed away. This exercise has Addie looking a lot more closely at her childhood, upbringing as well as her relationships with her brother and son, who she is still estranged from.

It's not long before Addie offers Jonathan a job cleaning up the grounds of Addie’s large property in exchange for room and board. We also find out how Jonathan ended up homeless and on the street; his mom’s new boyfriend didn’t like him and told his mom to get rid of him. It’s deep in the second half when the story takes a sad and melancholy turn. Addie’s past starts to catch up with her after a scary and unexpected incident and the fallout from it. Loved the ending! Once again, CRH has me tearing up.

The character development of the MC’s was very well done. The pacing was steady, and I never felt like it dragged. The storyline was interesting, and the writing was classic CRH. I’m looking at an overall rating of 4.3 that I will be rounding down to a 4star review. I want to thank NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for sending me this eARC in exchange for my honest review.

Connection

A lot of Hyde's novels seem to have a similar recurring theme with unorthodox relationships and friendships, but yet I never tire of her novels. They evoke a lot of deep feelings and glimpses into true human connection and goodness.

Like other books by this author, she takes a relevant subject and writes a story around it. This time it’s addiction, recovery and depression.

Addie is the main character, a middle aged recovering alcoholic. She is struggling even though she has been in recovery for eight years. This is a demonstration that the recovery journey never ends. Addie takes in two young people off the streets, Jonathan and Jeannie. Jonathan earns his keep by taking care of the property, Jeannie struggles with drugs.

The storyline is good. The battle with addiction is well represented. I struggle with Jonathan's character. He is a major influence in Addie's life. He is a very nice young man, very observant and intuitive, to the point where it doesn't seem realistic . But, I was able to get past that. The other characters are well developed, including Wendy, Addie's no-nonsense sponsor at AA.

This story is the embodiment of the Serenity Prayer, which was adopted for use by Alcoholics Anonymous. By dropping one word, this prayer can be used by all of us as words to live by.

“Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference".

Catherine Ryan Hyde has become one of my favorite authors. There’s a comfort factor when I read her novels and I trust her formula will generally be the same each time. Her latest book is entitled “Falling Apart and Other Gifts from the Universe” and it was another solid read for me.

Addie Finch is sixty-two years old. She’s currently working nights as a security guard for a storage place. Previously, she had served in the military and then worked as a cop. She’s been sober for eight years and regularly attends AA meetings.

Addie meets Jonathan one night. Jonathan’s seventeen years old and homeless. He stays sometimes in an abandoned warehouse next door to where Addie works. Addie offers him a safe place to sleep, at first, at her work or in her vehicle. As she gets to know him better, she soon offers him a place to stay at her home, in a shed, in exchange for him doing yardwork.

Addie and Jonathan form a surrogate grandmother, grandson bond. As each other’s chosen family, they navigate life’s up-and-downs. There was one part of the book that was left open-ended, but it made sense based on the nature of the book. Also, I appreciated the author including a trigger warning at the beginning of the book for those who may need one and/or find them helpful.

Overall, I recommend this book. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for my ARC.

“Falling Apart and Other Gifts from the Universe” by Catherine Ryan Hyde is an absolutely stunning novel by one of my favorite authors. It is a highly emotional story of two people; a young man discarded by his mother and living on the streets, and a recovering alcoholic with reoccurring demons of her own. Slowly they learn to trust each other and the world they live in, and ultimately become the family they each always wished for. The story is raw, emotional, and authentic dealing with addiction, homelessness, and abuse, but at the same time offering a powerful message of redemption and second chances.
Ms. Ryan always draws her readers into her stories but for me this book was totally immersive. I felt like I was standing right along side the characters in every beautifully written chapter.
I could not put this book down and finished reading it in one day. I would give it 10 stars if I could and I’m convinced this book will be on the top of the list for the best books of 2025,

A sweet and sentimental book about some very difficult subjects: homelessness, sexual abuse (not graphic), depression, and alcoholism. Addie is a recovering alcoholic who decides to help a homeless boy with excellent manners. Then he ends up helping her when she becomes depressed. It’s a very uplifting tale that focuses on “doing the work,” being grateful, and acknowledging that we can’t help people who don’t want to help themselves. Family and created family play important roles in our lives and should not be undervalued. Lots of positive things to say about AA and the role of the sponsor. The audiobook is well-narrated.

Emotive, raw, and heartwarming!

FALLING APART AND OTHER GIFTS FROM THE UNIVERSE is a poignant, thought-provoking novel that follows Addie, an ex-veteran and recovering alcoholic grappling with a life marked by disappointment and heartache, and Jonathan, a homeless teenager whose world is upended when a violent bully leaves him scared, vulnerable, and in desperate need of protection and love.

The prose is sincere and affecting. The characters are flawed, troubled, and genuine. And the plot, told from multiple perspectives, weaves a gripping tale of family drama, unlikely friendships, poverty, homelessness, motherhood, compassion, addiction, honesty, survival, mental illness, and the harsh realities of life.

Ultimately, FALLING APART AND OTHER GIFTS FROM THE UNIVERSE is a moving, powerful, pensive tale by Hyde, where the space between the words resonates as loudly as the words themselves, and is a beautiful reminder that forgiveness, in all its forms, especially of oneself, is essential for true healing.

Another heart jerking story, filled with great characters, from Catherine Ryan Hyde.
Addie is a 62 year old woman, ex military and police, working as a security guard and a recovering alcoholic. Addie cares about people a lot and wants to help and protect others from the world.
Then there is Jonathan a 17 year old homeless boy, abandoned by his mother, his father an alcoholic, he has been living on the streets, sometimes using a squatters warehouse, where there are unsavoury characters, putting himself at risk of harm.
The squatters warehouse is close to the the security job that Addie works, she comes across Jonathan looking for somewhere to rest, she sees he is cold, hungry, tired and hurt, she allows him to sleep in her car , it is warm and dry, he strikes her as a gentle soul, he is so grateful for her kindness. Over the next few days they build a trust and she offers him shelter in her garden shed and in return he can do some gardening. It is not long before Addie invites Jonathan in to a room in her house, they are developing a grandmother/grandson type of relationship.
Jonathan can see that Addie is also struggling with life, she has a new sponsor at AA who is setting her tasks and challenging Addie to dig deep. Together Jonathan and Addie work through their struggles.
Addie has been estranged from her brother and her son, she would occasionally speak to her brother on the phone, but has not seen or spoken to her son in years. Jonathan makes a phone call to her brother which starts a further healing process for Addie.
This book is thought provoking, small acts of kindness can go such a long way, provide hope, healing and new beginnings.
Many thanks to NetGalley & Lake Union Publishing for an ARC of this book in exchange for a review, another 5 star read from this renowned author.

Catherine Ryan Hyde is one of my favorite authors. She creates believable flawed characters and puts them in situations in which their best qualities shine. Falling Apart and Other Gifts From the Universe follows this pattern highlighting addiction, teens, homelessness, and dysfunctional families. There’s Addie, a recovering alcoholic who suffers from low self-esteem. There’s Jonathan, a homeless teen with a surprisingly good attitude, despite his messed-up family background. Somehow, together they each bring out the best in each other and in those around them.

Thank you to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for the opportunity to read an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thanks to Netgally and the publisher for an advanced copy of the audio book in exchange for an honest review!
I really enjoyed this story. Its about redemption, karma, and family (blood related and otherwise). I didn't really care for either narrator, unfortunately. In my opinion if you're able, this book should be read and not listened to. In all fairness, I am very picky with narrators so this could definitely be a "me" problem. I didn't like how the male narrator didn't alter his voice for other characters. It made the story hard to follow when a conversation was happening. As for the female narrator, I just didn't feel like her voice fit with the character, if that makes sense?
The story itself was fantastic and I highly recommend it!

First, thank you to Net Galley and Lake Union Publishing for the digital ARC.

Classic CRH with a story of redemption, found/created family, and an unlikely bond between a younger person and an older person each with their own troubles and history.
This story includes teenage homelessness and a 62 y/o lonely (by choice) alcoholic who has been sober for eight years. The way CRH explores how people need one-another, flaws and all, is always an enjoyable read. Something about the homelessness of teens reads very timely.
Authors note at the beginning warns of attempted sexual assault of two unhoused teens. “There are no graphic details, but the attempts fail, and the close calls happen, for the most part, off the page.” Thoughtful writing, and thoughtful warning.

Catherine Ryan Hyde's stories often mirror societal issues and are not always "pretty" She cautions in her Author's Note "that the book contains references to a subject sensitive to many..." Her style of writing draws the reader immediately into the story and I eagerly look forward to each new release. She is my go to writer for a feel good book even though the subject matter can be dark or good versus evil. There is always a redemption and a fresh start. This book is an excellent one for discussion for a multi-generational Book Club. I highly recommend her books and devour them in two days, and can't wait for the next one. Her characters come alive and Addie's challenges are universal as well as endearing in her personal internal struggles with helping Jonathon and Jeannie. I love this author’s books. And this one did not disappoint!

Addie is a flawed character but I loved her dearly. She lost her career as a cop to alcoholism. But she has been sober now for several years. So, when she does something terrible to protect Jonathan, it sends her into a spiral.

Jonathan definitely didn’t deserve all that has happened to him. I loved his strength and his desire to “pay it forward”. I could say so much more about him..JUST READ THE BOOK!

This is an emotional read you do not want to miss. Heck, all of this author’s books will send you into emotional turmoil. My favorite is Just A Regular Boy, just in case you want to add that one as well!

Need a story that will keep you emotionally hooked from start to finish…THIS IS IT! Grab your copy today!

I received this novel from the publisher for a honest review.
