“I wasn’t expecting to find you, but I did, and I’m not letting go.”

This book is written by two best seller writers, and it is a good book worth reading. The language of it is very successful, it is nothing simple.

From the blurb, it sounds like “a romantic suspense” and I had high expectations. While the romance and steam is 5 out of 5, the suspense/mystery part is disappointing, something like 2 out of 5....

There is indeed a “who is the murderer ?” search in it but the unexpected falling in love during this search is what is focused on. While the romance and the steam in the story make you say “wow”, the suspense part does not make you wonder or worry, you are never surprised or shocked... It is way too predictable who did it, and everything resolves in the way I have predicted at the very beginning of the book.

I have recently read Unsuitable by Samantha Howle and the suspense there was way too good and I was really shocked at the plot twists. Here, everything goes smoothly and the murder is solved way too easily and calmly and there is no thrill. The focus is on how their relationship starts and evolves and how it is affected by the outcome of the “murderer search” rather than creating a successful suspense.

Therefore, if you want a hot read with a cute couple who experiences insta-lust/love, that's it, go for it. But if you want a thrilling suspense with good romance and hot steam in it, then find another book, this one may not satisfy you.

*Note for readers whose first language isn't English: The language of the book is for highly-advanced readers / speakers of English.

Some quotes from the book:

It’s like I finally found the spot for that last piece of the puzzle. Not an easy one, a corner—no, that one damn piece you put back to the side every time you pick it up, waiting until all else falls into place, the hole left at the end telling you where it belongs by default. Jocelyn defies that strategy. She is my ‘what’s always been missing.’ Everything else gets built around her...

***

It’s her— my Jocelyn—was Devon’s… fascination, his ‘I hope she feels the same.’

Why does a life that’s not really even my own finally feel like it’s actually going to suffocate me? But, then again, do I want to know?

***

I pull up the résumé of Mr. Bryce Griggs on my laptop, but before I get the chance to scan over it, the door swings open and in walks who I believe is supposed to be the next applicant for the Patenting position. However, I’m afraid this gentleman is lost—having wandered from the GQ shoot nearby perhaps? Unless he’s applying for the starring role of my most lewd and erotic dreams, in which case, he’s hired. In fact, I may give him a raise.

Nearly an hour later, I’ve given him, and the elephant now in the room, or hall, with us, the most drawn out tour possible without making my reluctance to leave his side any more embarrassingly evident or awkward. We approach Grady’s office and I welcome him to the team one last time before leaving him to fill out paperwork.

***

Everything going on with Jocelyn is great and all—actually, it’s fan-fucking-tastic—falling in love with a gorgeous, intelligent woman was something I’d never planned on when headed to Philly, and it’s not why I’m here, but it’s happening alright, and I have no plans of stopping it; like me, or the gale force wind of a category 5 hurricane could do so anyway.

***

The things he says, so much a gentleman, missionary-style accountant you met at a church picnic and know would always be good to you. But the way he says them, and the indecent, unfairly gorgeous body, mouth, and face they come out of... like the Adonis on billboards you refuse to believe actually exists ... He’s the perfectly balanced blend of romantic porn.

"You’re my little bullet, hard and fast, you shot through and claimed me.”

***

When you have two authors that you love come together and write a story you know its going to be good! I fell in love with Conspire from page one. My favorite about it was I felt like I haven't read one with a plot like it. Which was refreshing for a change. Needless to say I give Conspire 5 STARS!!!

5.0 Star Review - Conspired

Love this story. This story pulls you in from the first page and keeps you reading until the very last page.

This is an erotic read with a little bit of mystery/suspense thrown in. You will learn all about Graham (Bryce) and Jocelyn in this panty melting story!

When two authors who write fantastic stories on their own get together you get a freaking awesome story!!!

Hope to read more from both of them soon!!

Conspire by Erin Noelle and SE Hall was different from what I have read before by these two authors. They both have great books out there and this book combined both of their talents.

At first though I felt the book was taking it’s time to get to the good stuff, maybe that is just because with the synopsis I was dying to find out what was going on. I will admit I am not patient that way LOL. However, I found the details and descriptions in this story brilliant and kept me captivating throughout.

Graham (Bryce) Harrison is out for answers for his brother’s death, he will go to all lengths to find out they “WHO, WHY, WHERE AND HOW”. I found I could actually relate to the confusion he had over his brother’s death, I too felt reading this story that things just didn’t add up and was constantly trying to figure out myself what was going on. Graham’s promise “ I was to be my Brother’s keeper, and I failed. I won’t fail him again”

Graham in his search for answers has to go undercover, hence the name change, and he has to emerge himself within the company that his brother worked for. Whilst in this role he meets Jocelyn who just happens to be the owner of the company’s daughter and a very sad and lonely woman.

Jocelyn is desperate to branch out on her own, have her own independence but does not want to upset her father so goes along with his instructions and demands. In a loveless relationship Jocelyn is desperate to escape and to “live”.

Jocelyn and Bryce are instantly attracted to each other, however, as Bryce is undercover (aka Graham) he knows he has to keep everything about why he is working in the company a secret which is difficult for him as he falls deeper and deeper in love with Jocelyn.

This paragraph below to me sums up the intensity of these two’s relationship:-

“From the little spark may burst a mighty flame,” I whisper, more than cognitive, dumbfounded if truth be told, that we can say “like” all night…. But she and I, we’re already more. “Be my spark, Bryce. Set me on Fire” She read my mind and though perhaps not yet realised how precise her words are, she’s just rasped out the best phrase I could think of to describe it…. One, immediate spare of undeniable chemistry and as fast as a real fire grows….. So did we, us.

Jocelyn, I love, she actually grows a set of balls and tells the no good excuse of a fiancé (Hunter) that she is done with him and I must admit when she did that I was whooping and cheering her along.

Jocelyn while checking through information she is gathering for the promotion of a drug her father’s company is promoting makes a startling discovery which sets her own investigations in motion. It is here I felt the full change in Jocelyn she starts to become more assertive, strong, feisty woman who knows what she wants but still a bit apprehensive of her father but determined to do the right thing.

Bryce realises in order to hold onto the woman he loves he must come clean with her about who he is and what he is doing. This is not an easy task for him to do but it must be done and my heart was breaking when he was doing it feeling his pain and anguish over it all.
The sexual chemistry between these two is just amazing and stunning and I loved it all.

This is certainly a book that will keep you on the edge of your seats but so worth it.

One quote from the bible that I loved which even my parents say is “The Good Lord will never give you more than you can manage” I have this mantra throughout my life and I felt it was so true not only in this story but in life itself.

Conspire is not my first S.E. Hall book but it is my first Erin Noelle. I have a couple of Erin’s books on my kindle but my TBR is so very very long, I haven’t had the chance to read them yet. I need to bump them up because I really loved Conspire. It was mysterious and sexy; a definite page turner.

Bryce is on a mission to find out what happened to his brother. He is dedicated to the task; avoiding all possible distractions. Until he meets his new boss, Jocelyn Craig. Jocelyn isn’t immune to Bryce either. She wants him right away and their flirting is a little funny and a lot outrageous.

I want some Bryce-flavored candy for breakfast, please and thank you.

There is an instant attraction between these two and their chemistry is off the charts; smoking hot!

“From the little spark may burst a mighty flame,”
“Be my spark, Bryce. Set me on fire.”

Bryce wants to be with Jocelyn but all kinds of complications dealing with his brother hold him back. This book had a heaping ton of the drama I so love, with a good dose of mystery, which is my next love. But let’s talk about the sexy time, because this needs to be addressed immediately! Bryce was a sweet heart…so damn sweet, but once he was in “sex it up mode”, all bets were off. He was domineering and liked to dirty talk. Whew.

So, basically what I am trying to say is that the sex scenes in this book were AHH-MAZING. Like melt your panties off amazing.

“Will you still be thinking of that, tasting it tomorrow?”

Um, yes. I absolutely will. ;)

I really liked that this was a pretty serious story with a very serious subject but the authors managed to still give me some wit. I really like my angsty stories with funny characters and both Jocelyn and Bryce were damn funny!

“I’ll be at your place tonight, seven sharp, to eat. You will be wearing that outfit, and by the end of the night, the only thing you’ll be mad about is that I only have one dick to fuck you stupid with.”

Basically, I loved the hell outta this book. The writing was witty, quirky, and descriptive. The characters made me fall in love with them. The story was mysterious and steamy. Guess you could say it ticked all my boxes!

“The ending’s supposed to be the best part.”

Erin Noelle & SE Hall are an amazing team and this novel just proves that. Conspire is a story of love, passion and family bonds that can't ever be broken.

Graham aka Bryce is an incredibly sexy man on a mission. He needs to find out what happened to his younger brother. He's desperate to find out the reason for his death and he will stop at nothing to find the answers he so desperately needs.

Jocelyn is not your typical pampered princess who is being groomed to takeover her daddy's company. She works hard, doesn't take hand outs and refuses to settle.

When Jocelyn and Bryce meet the connection is flammable. They could set the office building on fire with the heat and connection these two share - only problem? Bryce technically works for Jocelyn and to make matters a tad more complicated, Bryce is trying to find his answers to avenge his brother's death in that very same office.

As pieces start to come together and their relationship heats up, secrets are uncovered and lives are threatened to change forever. The question of who and why is one neither can answer on their own but together, anything is possible. If they let their hearts realize that.

I'm so happy to have had the chance to read this wonderful book in exchange for an honest review. I can only hope this new duo has plans to continue to write together.

I have loved every single one of SE Hall's books. And I have loved every single one of Erin Noelle's books. But a book written by BOTH of them?? FREAKING AMAZING! Like, I knew it would be good, but I had no idea the level of awesomeness these two could create together. Conspire was pure perfection.

Conspire had everything I love in a book- laughs, friendship, mystery, suspense, love, a little angst, and plenty of hot sexy times. All the good stuff in just the right amounts!

BUY THIS BOOK! I promise you won't regret it

CONSPIRE they do, SUCCEED they did!

When SE Hall and Erin Noelle decided to CONSPIRE this romantic suspense novel, I was downright elated. I was engrossed in cover to cover, literally - I did not stop to do anything, until I every word was devoured and it has stuck with me! This was for two reasons, one- I could not wait to find out what was coming next, two- I was emotionally invested in both Bryce and Jocelyn. I cried, laughed, and fell in love many times throughout the story.

This is an impeccable character set up!
Bryce - I'd take that sexiness any time of day, anywhere. Smart, considerate, compassionate, and did I mention sex on legs!
Jocelyn - Confident, gorgeous, and determined to get what she wants! This woman was passionate and witty.
Reagan - OMG LOVED HER, and her blue hair! She may not have been a leading character, but she stood on her own!
Alyssa - This is a BFF to the T! I adored her in the story, spunky and not afraid to make some ripples along the way!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book. I knew going in that it would be wonderful, how could it not, it is SE Hall & Erin Noelle! That being said this was a different kind of book for both ladies. There are all the elements I love from both ladies- an interesting plot, good pacing, humor, mystery and a hot couple.

The book follows the Graham or Bryce as he seeks to find out the reason behind his brothers "suicide". In his journey, he meets Jocelyn. Right away, they are drawn to each other. The chemistry is off the charts. I loved Jocelyn's inner dialogue when she was describing what she was thinking/feeling when looking at him. As Bryce, is trying to get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding his brother, secrets and lies are revealed. This ultimately brings him and Jocelyn closer together. When Jocelyn does some digging of her own, things start to get even more interesting. Jocelyn puts herself and her company on the line for the man that she has fallen in love with. When things finally come to a head, it is Graham/Bryce to the rescue. And that is all the spoiling you're going to get from me.

I also enjoyed the cast of secondary characters in the book, even the villain. Alyssa, Jocelyn's best friend provided a good bit of comic relief. It was very welcomed considering how twisty some parts of this story were. There was also Reagan, Bryce's roommate. She was a riot in and of herself. I loved how her caution and skepticism only aided Graham's need to get to the truth.

Overall, this book gave me everything I wanted and then some. I was left wanting more of Graham and Jocelyn. The writing styles of both ladies flowed together seamlessly providing a one-of-a kind story.

This book was a first for me by Erin Noelle and I couldn’t say I was disappointed..nope, not even a little bit.

Conspire with its short and promising blurb was enough to made me pick the book. Moreover it was also recommended to me..:)

The book starts with Devon’s death around which the whole story revolves. Graham is set to prove that his brother was murdered despite what the autopsy reports claims.

So he moved to Philadelphia and with the help of Reagen (Devon’s roommate) try to uncover the truth by going to places his brother used to work. There he met Jocelyn.

Jocelyn has always tried to live her life according to her father’s wishes but that changed when she met Graham. Jocelyn we get to see was confident, beautiful, understanding, honest and loving. And the way she unknowingly helped Graham made me like her more.

This book was told from both Graham and Jocelyn’s POV which certainly made the plot interesting for me. Definitely gonna read more of Erin Noelle’s books now..:D

Thanks Athena for recommending this book. You were right hun, I loved reading this book..((hugs))

The only thing I knew about Conspire going in was the tag line: “He wants answers, She wants freedom, The search is over when they Conspire.” But when two of my favorite authors decide to co-write a novel, I really don’t ask a lot of questions. Well, maybe one, how do they manage to write together so beautifully? Erin Noelle and S.E. Hall have written and amazing book that flows so well you cannot tell where one ends and the other begins.

Get ready for Bryce and Jocelyn, they area bout to become your new favorite couple! Bryce is a sexy, handsome, intelligent, guy looking for answers. Jocelyn is beautiful, successful and searching for answers of her own. Neither one expected to find more than answers in their search for the truth.

Where should I start? Two of my favorite authors ever, coming together to write this...sexy, panty-melting, hot, loving, amazing story, how could one go wrong?
As the story went on I fell more and more in love with Bryce(covert things he did reminded me of Jason Statham). I was hooked from page one and didn't want it to end.

If you want a melt your panties off type of book, you're looking at it. I love the way Erin and SE write individually knock my socks off, but this, together, BLOWN OUT OF THE WATER. My favorite team-up ever, by far, writing a book!! Definitely get to one-clicking!!!

I love S.E. Hall. I love Erin Noelle. And these two wrote one hell of a book. Conspire was amazing and hooks you from the very first page. What I liked most was that it wasn't your typical romance book. The plot was unique and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Bryce and Jocelyn were amazing character's and now one of my favorite book couples. Bryce is handsome and smart and Jocelyn is beautiful and successful. If you like erotic reads with some suspense, then this will be the perfect book for you! I give Conspire 5 stars, without a doubt!!

I was lucky enough to read a ARC of this book and let me tell you Erin Noelle and SE Hall put this book together SO brilliantly together. When I first started reading it, I honestly did not know what to expect, but ONCE again Erin Noelle surprised me with a plot that I have never read of in a book. Her teaming it with SE Hall and this book was an INSTANT 5 star in my opinion!! It grabbed my attention from the beginning and didn't let go until the very last word.

In true SE & Erin fashion...this was amazing. Review to come with my tour date 9/8...

**FULL REVIEW**

“I have approximately three hours of driving left, likely closer to two with my lead foot, to savor the silence, the calm before the storm. For tomorrow, the games begin, and I don’t mean the ones someone had sloppily played on my brother. No, I mean the kind I play…and win.”

Graham Harrison has a score to settle. Knowing in his heart of hearts that the information surrounding his younger brother is false, and somehow JCC Pharmaceuticals has played a part in it has him doing things only he could do…and taking any and all measures in order to find the answers he seeks. Devon’s reputation and his family’s honor are at stake, and Graham is going to uncover the truth…one way or another.

What Graham didn’t count on was Jocelyn Craig. Or the fact that the JCC namesake is more than just that…in more ways than one. Even in their first meeting, err excuse me, interview, there is something between them. Of course Jocelyn lets on about it first…Graham, I mean, Bryce is cool as cucumber; only momentarily distracted from the true path of his quest.

“…the glimmering of something intense in his gaze every time our eyes meet. I wonder if they darken or lighten a shade when he comes, an unknown hue all his own only shared with his lover. Where did that come from? Focus, Jocelyn, focus.”

Call it a hunch but there just might be a conspiracy at work here.
But maybe not in the way it’s expected…guess you’ll just have to find out.

“Usually things people say ‘off the cuff’, their secrets that slip out in an impulsive confession, are the most profound and hold the most honesty, and it disheartens me; this probably is too good to be true. It couldn’t be more ill-timed—a gorgeous, intelligent woman to whom I am magnetically drawn, busting all up in the middle of my path.”

What can I say, I’m in love with yet another book that SE Hall had her hand in. And also, I think I’ve found another favorite author that I will now have to go and devour all of her works as well. The combination of wit, charm, raw sex appeal, suspense, drama, and pure sweet moments had me in a vice grip. When I wasn’t reading, I was talking about reading to whomever would listen. And of course when I got to the end of my “this is what happened”, all I wanted to do was pick up in spot where I left off! So what that I was out to dinner…in a crowded restaurant…with my family…who is forbidden from devices at the table. There has to be exceptions, right?

All in all, I loved it. So there. Sometimes it’s all about K-I-S-S.

When S.E.Hall and Erin Noelle announced they were writing a book together I thought I was being punked! I was like a kid waiting on Christmas morning! They delivered with Conspire!!

Graham Bryce Harrison is everything you would want in a book boyfriend. Smart, sexy, protective, did I mention swoon my panties off HOT? Even with all that going for him he has a lot going on in his life. With his brother's death weighing heavily on his mind Graham decides to go undercover to get the answers he needs. Using Bryce as an undercover name he must go into his brother's company to search for the truth.

As Bryce digs further he meets Jocelyn. The chemistry is instant but she has a fiancée named Hunter who I wanted to reach in my iPad and choke! He's awful! High five to the face with a chair kind of awful! Jocelyn also always has to meet the high expectations of her father. She is living for everybody else but herself and she's tired of it. She wants to be free.

As Bryce keeps searching for answers and grows closer to Jocelyn he knows he will have to fess up the truth about who he is, and why he's doing it. He knows if he fesses up the truth to the woman he has fallen for he could lose her. He's not sure he wants to take that chance.

Jocelyn breaks up with her fiancée and steps out of her fathers shadow to be her own person. She is ready to live her life her own way, and on her terms but will Bryce's secrets destroy her? Will it be too much for their relationship to bare? I don't want to give anything else away but I loved Conspire! It will leave you turning the page and wanting to know what will happen next.

The side characters I loved in this book too. Reagan with her blue hair! I loved her. Alyssa was a wonderful BFF. I loved both of their characters. They both bring a little something extra to the story.

I give Conspire 5 stars!! It has just enough to suck you in and leave you wanting more! Erin Noelle and S.E.Hall are amazing!!! Go grab this one today.

Both of these authors previous books have touched me in one way or another, and I was very curious to see what happened when they teamed up. I have to say I didn't expect this.

First I want to start off by saying, the dedication kinda bothered me. This is a very sexy, erotic novel and to have the book dedicated to a young child who has passed, and to quote scripture, didn't sit right with me. I don't think there is any place for young children (living or deceased) to have erotica, sexy romance novels dedicated to them. I don't know if that's the way others feel...but that is the way I do.

Ok...so now the story. The synopsis tells you nothing of the story...3 lines..."He wants answers. She wants freedom. The search is over...when they CONSPIRE". Going in I was clueless as to who he and she were. What answers he was looking for...what freedom she was searching for...if I wasn't a fan of this author, I don't think that I would have picked up this book based in the synopsis.

The saving grace for me with this story...and what gives it the 2 star rating, was the characters. I truly liked them, and thought that they were easy to relate to and the story line was somewhat intriguing.
Maybe this story could have had a better rating if I wasn't so put off by the synopsis and the dedication. I'm interested to find out if Erin Noelle and SE Hall are going to come together again, and write another joint book. I guess only time will tell.

More Than 5-Graham-Stars!

I don't really know how will I put this review up but let me just focus on the English dictionary definition of the book title.

CONSPIRE :

verb (conspires, conspiring; past and past participle conspired)

(intransitive) To secretly plot or make plans together, often used regarding something bad or illegal.

~TWO Best-selling Authors decided to create a book together and I'm telling you it is illegally GOOD and you will feel really BAD if you don't read it.

(intransitive) To agree, to concur to one end.
(transitive) To try to bring about.

~ SE Hall and Erin Noelle, what do you expect from them? Of course, a book of total awesomeness!
They have yet created another BBF to love, a witty heroine and a new best friend to adore.

I've been in a roller coaster of emotions while reading Conspire; it's like at 73% I'm laughing then at 83% I am crying.
There are so many instances in the book that almost hit so close to home. Losing someone you love is one and I'm still so sensitive about it every single time, no matter what the cause of death is— a loss is a loss and it really hurts.
I loved the suspense part and well the hot sex scene (kinda expecting that knowing the authors.. *wink*).

All in all..... Hands down... Salute... Cart Wheel to the authors because they've CONSPIREd to bring a GREAT book putting NA Romance in another level.

The story reels you in from the get go and has you stuck on the edge until the very end. Both the main characters are relatable in some aspect or another. The way the story is written, you can’t help but feel for Bryce as he searches for his answers and Jocelyn – being an independent young lady trying overcome being the “Boss’ daughter”. Their attraction is undeniable from the beginning and gains strength, even through its setbacks. Set out with Bryce & Jocelyn to see what secrets are revealed and how they overcome them!

S.E. Hall and Erin Noelle did a wonderful job writing this book!! I would recommend that everyone read it!!!!

I don't like to give away a lot so I will just give the basics. Graham (Bryce) is out to find out what really happened to his brother and the revenge that is deserved. And well the best way to describe Jocelyn is that she is out to get a life. She has done what she is told by her dad and her ex and realizes she needs to be her and not what others want.

Oh and the are some really hot and spicy parts.

I love SE Hall's work and have Erin Noelle's book on my to read list. Definitely great choice to read.
This book has mystery and suspense and draws the read right in quickly a real page turner. Lots of spice added to the mix makes for an amazing read. Totally suggest if you haven't you should read it.

Wonderful characters - you could feel the emotion in the story. Took pics of some of the dialogue and sent it to friends because it was just so real!

So I started this book with really not much idea what it was about since the blurb is set up that way. So I am going to try to do a review with no spoilers and not giving away much plot.

You have a man trying to find answers and justice. His usual career skills serve him well during this quest. We can call him Graham or Bryce. He is smart, manipulative, charming and multi-talented. Even though we knew more of what was going on with him, he still had an air of mystery. He is determined, charismatic, and sexy. He really is totally alpha, but has this sweet, loving side to him and is not a man that fights his feelings. I really liked him.

And then there is the vivacious, sweet Jocelyn. She is owner and Daddy's little girl and PR at their family company. She's feeling a bit stuck, patronized, and taken for granted. She is sick of being told what to do and is starting to rebel against the people that want to keep her in the same place without much control. She has a good spirit that is being beat down and making her frustrated and bitter. She is intelligent, friendly, caring, and responsible. But toxic people are getting to her. She longs to explore her own dreams and needs. She is caught between issues with her job, her family, her ex, and being attracted to someone she probably shouldn't.

They have instant chemistry and attraction even though the situation is not ideal to begin anything sexual or romantic. But it is hard to resist. And their lives are about to become tangled up in one big mess. Who is lying? Who is keeping secrets? Who is good or bad?

There are hidden agendas, subterfuge, and secrets all swirling under the surface adding complications and guilt.

He needs answers and to put all the pieces of the puzzle together.
She wants to find herself, experience life, and break away from certain people and situations.
Together they are passionate, intense, and compatible, but neither is providing full disclosure.

Can two people conspiring both get what they want or is one bound to lose?

Comic relief was provided by her best friend, Alyssa and his new friend Reagan who is mixed up in the whole situation, but was a big help to him. They were funny and the feisty interactions between all of them were welcome diversions to the seriousness of the plot and the break up the intense passionate moments. And then there were the people that that just put me(and the main characters) on edge whenever they entered the scene.

It was told in both points of view which was important especially due to the secretive nature of the plot. This is a combination of two authors and I could not tell how the work was divided even though I am familiar with both of their writing styles. So I could not tell if they each wrote one point of view or how it was combined in process. I had a little trouble in the beginning as I was trying to figure out what was going on but then it started flowing together and combined their styles well.

It was a romantic, sweet, humorous story built around a mysterious tragedy with suspected foul play. So it kept me intrigued, guessing, and hoping in the end something good would come out of a bad situation. I did figure out many of the twists on my own, but there were a couple of surprises. But it kept my attention and I genuinely liked the characters and the story line.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.
