We can get Daisy back, as long as we play along. But at what price? Secrets are revealed. Lives are changed. I have to figure out the truth — one dirty secret at a time.
Deception was so much better and definitely more action filled. I'm getting a bit sick of Madi and the love sickess though, I know she's 17 and never had a boy friend blah blah blah, but it's like a 13 year old with her first love. She acts far too immature at times, no I'm not expecting sex etc as it would be wrong for her character, but it is perfectly except able to know things and still be a virgin - I think it's just grating me a little. I love the relationships in this book though if the friends and family too. It's making for a good read otherwise and now I'm moving onto book 3 - 4 stars from me.
So I have read almost all of Mercy Amare's books & & I have loved every single one! This one is no different, she has created an amazing story. I love the characters as well as trying to figure out who is doing all this. Madi is becoming one of my favorites, still trying to figure out if I hate Daisy or feel bad about what's going on but I will say that I am hooked on this series as well. So thank you for creating another fantastic series!
The drama continues! I definitely liked all the action in this one, and the romance is adorable. I envy Mercy's ability to capture teens in love so perfectly!
