WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Ryder and Summer met when her car won't start and she asks him for a jump. Ryder and Summer live next door to one another. Ryder and Summer have been watching one another but never introduced themselves. Summer gets a good look at Ryder one night while he pleasures himself. The following morning Summer's car doesn't start. When Ryder comes out he notices Summer's car still in her driveway. Summer comes when she sees Ryder and tells him her car won't start and asks him if he'll give her a jump start. After Ryder gets Summer's car started he tells her she needs to drive it for thirty minutes, but she tells him her drive to work is only five. Ryder tells Summer he'll come by when it's time for her to come home to make sure her car starts. While Summer is cleaning up the daycare she works at with her best friend Daisy Ryder comes in. Summer notices a look in Daisy's eyes and wonders if it has to do with her own boyfriend. When Ryder tries to start Summer's car it won't start. Summer comes out and Ryder tells her he'll follow her to the garage. After dropping Summer's car off Ryder asks Summer if he can grab them dinner. Summer suggests a Mexican restaurant, while eating Ryder tells her about his days in the military and growing up without parents. When they are finished eating Summer asks to go up the mountain and challenges Ryder to get there before their ice cream melts. Summer can't help but enjoy the view while they both share ice cream. Then Ryder and Summer are kissing. When Ryder wants to take it back to her place Summer tells him she's never done this before but wants to right here. He was able to get hired on with Axel's logging crew and to snag a rental cabin. He took this as a good omen for his move. The beauty next door is just a huge bonus.

'Scarred Mountain Man' by Lylah Hart is about a woman that comes to help a friend out with her day care business in a small mountain town, and she is immediately attracted to the man that lives in the cabin next to her's. She had seen him through her bedroom window while he had been in his bathroom. She didn't realize that he had noticed her watching so he decided to give her a show as he took care of his sexual needs. Having never seen a naked man, Summer was fascinated with the show but quickly hid when she thought he might have seen her. But she did wonder if he had, when she saw him grin in her direction when he was finished. Ryder was more than interested in his next door neighbor because he thought she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. But he did wonder how a woman as beautiful as she was would ever be interested in him. He was very surprised the next morning when she came out of her cabin to ask if he could help start her car. He used his jumper cables to start her car and then found himself offering to meet her after she finished working just to see if the battery was still charged. He was thrilled when she agreed and that was the beginning to their relationship.

The Seduction Summit Trails series is the latest addition to the fantastic Seduction Summit universe created by Lilah Hart. Seduction Summit is a ski resort community full of military vets in the North Carolina mountains. The men became lumberjacks to help with demand for new cabins and cottages. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone. This book focuses on lumberjack Ryder and Summer, a young woman who came to SS to help her best friend Daisy open Little Pines Daycare. Both have been peeping out their windows watching each other, fascinated by what they see. One morning Summer’s car battery dies, and Ryder helps her out. This is the beginning of their relationship.
The story is fast-paced, and the author has done a wonderful job of creating an interesting and hilarious plot and characters. Hart is excellent at world building, especially with her mountain town of Seduction Summit. I definitely recommend this book!.

Scarred Mountain Man follows the journey of Ryder and Savannah. Scarred Mountain Man is a fantastic short mountain man romance story. I didn’t even want to put it down until I read the last page. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. The chemistry between the main characters is absolutely breathtaking and phenomenal. I absolutely enjoy getting to know both Ryder and Savannah as well as seeing their feelings for each other grow stronger as their story progressed forward. I would absolutely recommend this book for anyone to checkout and give it a read. Scarred Mountain Man is beautifully written, well balanced and perfectly executed by Lilah Hart. She continues to showcase what a phenomenal author she is with each book I’ve read by her thus far. I’m looking forward to reading more amazing stories from this author in the future.

He came because so many hurt veterans called this place home and lived there with their families and were thriving. He is emotionally, mentally and physically damaged. He has isolated himself to compensate because so many of his comrades died but he survived. Summer has recently moved to the mountains to help her best friend open her childcare centre. She loves children and feels happy about her choice to work in this wonderful place that she hopes secretly will become her home.
She is living next door to a gorgeous hunk of a man and finds herself becoming a ‘peeping Tom’ when he is around. Their insta love is moving, sensual, sexy and honest.

Ryder and Summer. Shes in Seduction Summit helping her friend with her daycare. Shes innocent and lives next door to HIM. Watches him chop wood. Shirtless. Him not her LOL. Then she found that her bedroom window looked into his bathroom window. Should look away. She felt guilty but was frozen to the spot. Then he did something that shocked her. He couldnt see could he. Then after he looked her way and smiled. OMG. He works on the logging crew. He heads out remembering last night. Noticing her car still there. She came out and asked for a jump. No his mind did not just go there. They are so cute. Watching them come together and figure out their next move was entertaining. Like a naughty bedtime story with warm toasty feelings.

I love, love, LOVED this book. It may have been a quick read, but it was definitely worth the time 🙂. I’ve already got book two in my TBR folder on my e-reader, and I can’t wait to read it tomorrow.
I have been reading a lot of Lilah’s books lately, although I wish I had known about them sooner. I enjoy her writing style. It’s great for those days when you just need something to help you relax (especially with kids running around like a chicken with its head cut off all day…thanks summer vacation lol 😄) and take your mind off your responsibilities (even if it is only for 90 minutes). I do look forward to reading the next series she comes up with as well as finishing this one. 😉.

Sweet Couple and Very Loving!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. Summer is Daisy’s best friend and Daisy had asked her to come help her with her Daycare. Summer did and was staying in a cabin next to Ryder. Ryder worked on the logging crew with Axel. She was a peeping tom and watched as he took care of himself in the bathroom. He knew she watched him. She couldn’t help herself. The next morning her car wouldn’t start. Ryder came out to go to work and she came out of her house just when he was getting ready to get in his truck and go to work. She called over to him asking if he could jump her 😂😂 he knew what she meant but he had to get his mind out of the gutter. He got his jumper cables and… 😊😊😊😊😊💜💜💜💜💜🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Summer is super thirsty and I’m here for it!

He’s a super hot golden retriever with a saviour complex, so I call dibs.
The book started off in a hilarious fashion (the imagery from that scene is chefs kiss). It got a little slow while they were in the ‘get to know each other’ stage. Once it got going though… whew…
It was only short, but I was so happy to see that this story actually tackled a topic that is a major bone of contention in a lot of relationships - it was dealt with quickly, but was done well.
A short, sharp, enjoyable read.

Summer hod no idea living next door to the mountain man would be such a temptation. She takes watching the view to a whole new level. Ryder doesn't mind his new neighbor is enjoying the view, and needs a little help along the way.
This book is a great dive into a new era of Seduction Summit Trails. This is a definite spicy edition to start of the series with a pop. They taking watching the view from the mountain to a whole new level. Summer might be new to a lot of things, but learning how to fall in love with Ryder seems nothing but easy.
Its got real heart from two that are good to the bone. They let fate and maybe a little window peeking lead them to a satisfying HEA.

I got addicted to Lilah Hart's short stories taking place in the picturesque town of Seduction Summit. When I saw that new series was starting, I couldn't not read it. I love these delicious lumberjacks and their unsuspecting women. This particular story starts with a little peep show given by the said lumberjack to his next door neighbor, who, I'm pretty sure, have never seen any one in the state of sans clothes before. The story is funny, sweet, and sexy with HEA that will leave you very satisfied. Can't wait for the rest of the series.

Seduction Summit, new residents and the ex military lumberjacks always a great topic for books. Summer and Ryder neighbors possibly not by chance but because Daisy wanted to play matchmaker. Summer her best friend since 6th grade came to help her at her new daycare. Ryder the hot neighbor notices Summer and wants to meet her. Though he catches her watching him often through her windows. Her car battery dies and results in her car breaking down. This sets off an impromptu date night and then a romantic drive to a scenic Mountain View.

Scarred Mountain Man is Book 1 of the Seduction Summit Trails series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, curvy virgin gets her lumberjack romance. Summer is a sweet, curvy girl who has come to town to help her best friend run a daycare. Ryder is a hunky ex-military man turned logger and her next-door neighbor. The two have been watching each other, but when Summer needs help with her car, Ryder sees his opening to spend more time with her. These two had insane chemistry, and the ending was so happy. I loved it and can't wait to read more in this series!.

The very first chapter draws you in with good steam. The next day he helps her with a situation. They really start to like one another. They chat with each other throughout dinner and decide it was a date.
They are so natural and easy together. He has to contemplate whether he wants to continue a relationship with her. They go up a trail with a view and it gets super spicy. She is just what he needed for now and in the future. Loved this book and would recommend it.

Summer moves to Seduction Summit to help Daisy with her daycare. She notices her hot neighbor and it’s instalove. Ryder has notices her too and when she asks for help with her car, he volunteers to take her to work. As a thank you, she invites him to dinner then take a hike and end up in a beautiful spot and sparks begin to fly. Will the sparks develop into a HEA? What an entertaining story that captured the chemistry between them from beginning to end. What a great beginning to a new series. Highly recommend!

Summer has moved to Seduction Summit to help a friend who's opened a day care. She rents a cabin next door to Ryder. And when she sees him she is more than intrigued, she's hot and bothered, and after watching Ryder she doesn't think she'll ever be the same. Fast oh so spicy, entertaining and a feel good I want them to have that happy ending story. This is the first in the Seduction Summit Trails and I can't wait for the next. I loved it.
