Soul Reapers #2

Campbell's Reaper

Rate this book
Tank

How desperate are you to keep the dark at bay?

For me, my nightmares are living, breathing people whose screams echo in my ears. The darkness a physical weight that presses against my skin. The sun gave light to my day but not my world until I met Campbell Reed. My own personal Sunshine that chased away the shadows.

I know everything about this girl; how she smells like the first day of summer when she first wakes up in the morning, how the gold in her eyes glows whenever I am near her, and how she soothes my demons so I can sleep through the night when she is in my arms.

But am I selfless enough to let it all go to save her from myself? Or am I that selfish to reach out and take what I want? Because I know without a doubt that if I do, Campbell would never stop me.

 Hell, she would welcome it.

Campbell

Tank Whittaker's eyes were oil pits when I first met him a month ago. I even bet my sister, Logan, that they catch fire when he is hot for a chick.

And boy do they ever!

With my birthday approaching, nothing . . . no kidnapping . . . no Crazy Z. . . no Baxter Reed . . . was going to stop me from getting my one wish - HIM!

Tank knew that Campbell Reed held the keys to his heart, a heart that had long ago been blackened by his past. Campbell is young though and not eighteen and as much as she pushes he does not give in. Campbell radiates everything good but Tank feels that he is not good enough. When Campbell and her sister are kidnapped, he protects her but that lingering doubt still creeps in. Will Tank let go of his demons to find happiness?

Liked this one a lot, only one thing in it bothered me because it was similar to what happened in the first book. Had a couple of twists and I have to say Campbell was quite powerful, she is young but her life has forced her to grow up and is wise beyond her years.

3.0 Rating-Have you ever continued to read a series even when the books aren't that great just because each book kind of hooks you into the next book? So that's my excuse of why I picked up book two of this series and why I'll most likely read book three when released. I know others may like these books but honestly, I just don't think they are that good, and still I read. WTF is that? Is there some type of medical diagnosis that can explain why I continue to read these? Hmmm.

I loved the first book.... I kinda liked this one...

the thing is I don't like when there is second book in the series for first few pages we see what we already know from different POV... but that's just me...

image:

yeah.. I know... so basically I liked the story but it wasn't that new from the fist book, it felt liked the repetition with different leads and I though that Logan is the strong one of sisters and Cam kept me surprising which was nice...

soo...did I liked this book?!

image:

but I would definitely recommended it to all MC and assholes biker lovers!!! I hope we will see more from the club because I like the books even though this one was different from what I thought it will be!!

Liked it but didn't love it! Storyline was entertaining, action packed and hot. For me the first book was better. Loved the chemistry and interaction between Tank and Campbell even though Tank did kinda piss me off. Loved all the characters and can't wait for more in this series. Would recommend.

The Reaper series is great. This is the story of Campbell and Tank. I like that the author started the story from the beginning of Campbell and Tank's relationship. The story is great and their passion is hot.
I hope there will be a third book, can't wait.

I really Liked this book but I felt like it was too short, the author could've expanded on some parts but over all I thought the book was GREAT! I also didn't like that it took too long to be released. I hope Knox and Dylan's story doesn't take as long.

I am really enjoying this series, I can't wait for the next one. Tank is a hot biker & has been fighting his attraction to Campbell because she is only 17. Campbell is waiting to turn 18 because all she wants for her birthday is Tank.

I really enjoyed this book. The first book felt a bit rushed but not this one. I felt the story was more developed. I can't wait to read Knox and Dylan's story

I really liked this book. Campbell's character was much deeper. These feel a little fluffy and not as raw or gritty as the usual MC story. However as J.D. writes this series let's give it a chance.

enjoyed the second installment in the series. very young female lead so a lot of the story has to do with age issues
