HEAL? OR IMPLODE? Josh is all for moving forward, but how's he supposed to do that when every time Jessie tries to face her troubled past she runs away? A quaint island is a great place to hide. But a riptide can be merciless and unforgiving…especially after a storm.
Well, I used to be a museum curator but now I'm a writer and a filmmaker! Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't do what you want in life - my mantra is 'if you believe it, you can achieve it!'
The Drifters Series was supposed to start out as three books but has expanded to fifteen. The Dallas White Series is growing, and I just completed my first feature film, Still The Water. My mother always said I had my head in the clouds - I guess she was right! I do love to 'imagine,' and am now working on a new book (Dallas, three) and a new screenplay (Kristian's Cross). Oh, and did I tell you the Drifters series has been optioned for television? Can't wait to see where that lands!
I live with my partner Stephen and my striped cat Oliver (Lucy Maud Montgomery once said the only good cat is a striped cat!) in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada, and I make frequent trips to Vancouver to visit my son Christopher and his sweet puppy, Winston.
"Music has the power to heal" - music, a great cuppa joe...and maybe love...
All four books in the Drifters series are amazing. You are hooked right from the beginning by the well developed characters, who seem to leap from the page to become among a group of people you know, even though their environment and lives are very different from those in your own life.
Riptide is especially endearing for anyone who has ever been or has ever lived on Prince Edward Island. It is so familiar and Jessie's inner turmoil and moments of bliss leaves you with a longing to find out whether she will ever find true contentment and joy.
Can't wait for the next three books in the series. I give full rating to these books. They will keep you reading!
I think not. I love the series but it's getting to a point it seems this couple will never be tru)y happy. And focusing on Jessie's problems while Josh too had demons of his own to deal eith.
What a love story for these two to hav. How many twists and turns will they have until her sorrowful life will become a glorious life to reflect on. Loved it.
