Jasper Cates is a ruthless billionaire CEO and full-time jerk on a mission. Sick of dating and relationships he hires a secretary to distribute phones to girls matching his exact criteria. Blonde, skinny, and slutty. When he calls them, they meet him at an upscale bar in heels and a short skirt. It’s simple, sex-filled, and an absolutely no-emotions type of arrangement.
Until Hannah. Brunette, curvy and filthy mouthed. She was everything he didn’t want, so why can’t he stop thinking about her?
Hannah couldn’t believe a man could be so arrogant. She doesn’t want to join his sick game, but every second she spends with him sends her closer to his bedroom.
Now Jasper is breaking all his own rules. Maybe he can let her in. Maybe.

I must admit I didn't expect this book to be so funny, parts of it, particularly the beginning had me laughing out loud and once I started I just couldn't stop I had tears rolling down my face, now you may not find this as funny as I did and maybe it was the way I was feeling at the time but I simply loved the humour running through this book. Anyway, Jasper Cates is a billionaire and his time is too valuable to waste on dating so he comes up with the idea of employing a social secretary to supervise the handing out of mobile phones to good looking, skinny blondes, he meets them at a bar and if they're acceptable then they're lucky enough to have sex with him, it's a win win situation, saves on his valuable time and involves little effort on his part, what could possibly go wrong? Well the phone could end up in the hands of a curvy, mouthy brunette called Hannah. At the beginning of the book Jasper is interviewing Ms Hollingford and explaining her duties and his 'phone' plan "My job is to find your fetishistic blondes and set up booty calls for you," she deadpanned. "The rendezvous will be at a restaurant or bar, where I will determine through interaction if she is suitable." "Is there a talent competition?" I've put this in since it's one of my favourite bits and also to give you an idea what to expect, like I said the beginning had me in tears and I thought I was in for a silly romantic comedy, nothing at all wrong with that in fact I was looking forward to it but what you get in actuality is so much more. Hannah and Jasper are both complex characters and while at times I really wanted to smack Jasper I found I had a soft spot for the stupid idiotic man. I thought this book was funny, romantic and don't forget free, I'm giving 5 stars because I can't remember the last time I laughed this much at a book.
This was a good read. The author did a fabulous job writing this book and keeping the readers interest. If I was Hannah, in no way would I have wanted a relationship with Jasper. They had already kissed and had gotten close and then he would run off and want to start making out almost having sex with two other woman at different times. No thanks! I would have been like..."See you later player!" Well anyways, obviously this is just a story...lol. I liked the way the author ended the book and we got a glimpse as to what happened with Jasper (player) and Hannah (gullible woman). I will be reading book #2 in the Men of the Capital Series. This was a good read and I am glad I read it.
Short easy read... The title is just awful, but the story is cute without any real deepness to the characters or big drama. With a little bit more of character development and background to justify their actions it would've been better. This way his phone antics were just yuck! And the way she just came out needy and clingy sometimes was just dissapointing. She started out all fiery and demanding... and then she became this whole other person... For a book that I got for free on amazon, it was OK I guess ;)
loved the banter between Jasper and Hannah will be looking for more work from Cara, is nice to find a book that makes you smile from certain well placed phrasing!
This book was better than I thought! From reading the synopsis, I thought I'd just be getting another kinky billionaire control freak, ala Christian Grey but not him. I humbly admit that I was wrong, and that I enjoyed this book, and can't wait for the next one. :-)
I got this book only because Amazon offered it either free or discounted download. What a sweet and pleasant surprise this story turned out to be! I finished it on one go! Loved the characters and the story.
Jasper Cates in my eyes was a man that needed to be brought down a few pegs. He was a successful man that looked at women as trophies. He wanted a fit blonde to look pretty on his arm and would be good in bed. He had made the statement he was looking for his soul mate.
Hannah Largent was this brunette, smart, and sassy woman. She beautiful and had what the author called curves, though I am to certain I would call a size 8 having curves..LOL She was not what Jasper was looking for in woman. She was to old, not a stick figure, sassy, and not sylish. She did not like to listen and had one mouth on her that would cut you down in a heart beat if you got out of line. She was totally the opposite of everything he wanted. In my eyes she was to good for him. She deserved better then Jasper Cates.
I had some issues with Jasper. Here he was a man that claimed he was hung up on Hannah but yet when she was not around it did not take him long to have another woman on his arms. For a man who strived for control he had no control.
This book was an alright read but I would loved to seen Jasper having to prove he was worthy and gain Hannah’s trust. That would of been one thing I would of loved to seen.
I enjoyed reading The Billionaire's Hotline (Men of the Capital Book 1), all about Hannah Largent a young women who is single and lives and works in her apartment and barely goes out & Jasper Cates a billionaire with his own company. They meet when her sister Becca gets a phone because she's young with blonde hair and is a bit energetic & likes to hang out at the local coffee shop. When her sister Hannah gets her phone mistakenly put in her neighbor's luggage, Becca gives her the phone she was given to contact the billionaire with. So when the phone constantly goes off a minimum of four times while Hannah is in her studio painting, she gets pissed and runs out to the very fancy hotel the Blake to confront the idiot who keeps calling. She's not exactly dressed for the Blake, but she's not focused on her appearance, she just wants to tell the jerk to stop calling her sister Becca. The author wrote a very interesting story, and the characters brought the story to life. Read about Hannah & Jasper and their very volatile relationship! The sparks fly with these two and you never know what to expect from page to page! Read this story, because it will make you laugh, cry, sigh, shake your head and Cuba bit! Enjoy this awesome story!
Hannah started off as a bada$$, strong independent woman. She went from hero to zero by suddenly becoming a clingy, obsessed pathetic stalker. She calls him THE NIGHT AFTER their date and tells the giggling woman who answers Jaspers phone because he's "busy" to put him on, then invites him over? Seriously?!? And then it happens AGAIN and she still forgives him! What the hell?!? I need my characters to be strong, not weak and pathetic like the ones in this book.
I found this free on Amazon while I was looking for a quick read. What I found was a hero whose tactics I found abhorrent (not the phone gambit, but his subsequent actions with the heroine and a limber blonde), a frumpy, loner heroine whose only redeeming quality was her conversational skills, and several bipolar transitions in their relationship that left me scratching my head.
I can't really fault anything writing-wise, I just did not like the story itself. Sorry.
Jasper is a cheating POS and she is a clingy doormat. She deserves better. I hated him throughout the whole book. He cheats on her 2 nights in a row and she gets to hear it over the phone. Classy. Loved when she wrote that she was no longer going to bother him and she was done. I hated that she just took him back at his first text. Yup, a text. Asshole.

Delightful read with nice character development. An easy quick rweady that leaves you wanting more. I couldn't put it down and went right to the next in the series. Loved Hannah the feisty brunette and Jared the handsome broken CEO. I strongly suggest you read there story because not ever book about a billionaire is the same.
Cara Nelson Billionaires hotline is a good book. he is fussy and wants things his way ...his rules. until hannah comes into the picture and everything start changing for him. he starts to break his own rules for her.
she is a bit clingy but I like how their love show that opposites attract. very funny story and I could see myself doing some of the things that she did.
I didn't like this book. There wasn't much build in the story or any true character depth. I found both characters whiney and annoying. Will not continue with the rest of the series.
