Absolutely loved this one! Loved watching Jason break free from the grief and find that love was right next door with Caitlin. Adored their relationship and his nickname for her! And I loved getting pop-ups from my Flyboys!

I just LOVE everything about this book. I know I sound crazy but it's the truth Ginny is just an amazing writer and can do no wrong in my eyes. This book was so beautiful. I fell in love with all of these characters. I read most of it in one day but had to go to bed so I had to finish it in the morning unfortunately. I really didn't want to stop reading. I was hooked from the very beginning.
Jason Baird has had experienced loss in his life and has always felt like he had to take care of everything himself. You fall in love with him because he's he wants to take the burden away from others but sometimes we all need help. His brothers and his sister are just amazing. They all want to step up and help him. When he finally lets go and lets everyone help he finally gets to start living.
Caitlin is best friends with Matthew Baird. His brother is Jason and Caitlin has always had a crush on Jason but he never gave her the time of day. Caitlin ends up going into the Navy and when she gets done moves back home. When she with Matthew she ends up getting closer to Jason and slowly they start a friendship that will turn into more.
I loved Jason and Caitlins story. I had so many laugh out loud moments through out this book. I love his nickname for her. It's so funny but cute and sweet once you find out the meaning behind it. There's just so much to love in this story. You will swoon, laugh, have some moments that will pull at your heart strings and you will be left with a wonderful happily ever after. I would HIGHLY recommend this book. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

This book is proof that dreams can come true, but sometimes you have to have a lot of patience. This was sweetness overload, and I do not mean that in a bad way. I think my heart just grew a little bigger reading this incredible romance.
Jason Baird is a protector and caretaker. He has always put the needs of others before his own. His responsibilities grew tenfold when he lost both of his parents. He has never gotten to chase his own dreams, or at least he felt that he could not chase them.
Caitlin has admired Jason from afar since she was a teenager. Her best friend has always been Jason's little brother, Matthew. Suddenly, Jason realizes the woman before him is not the scrawny teenager he remembers. The chemistry between these two was electric, and a long time coming. However, they both had to overcome some obstacles before they could find true happiness.
I swooned, laughed and cried while reading this slow burn romance. This is not a quickie romance. This one built up over many years, which made it even more special. We get to see some appearances from our favorite flyboys. Actually an airplane ride, compliments of the Flyboys, with Jason and Caitlin was my favorite part. Snickering and snorting were involved as I imagined this scene in my head. I look forward to more in this newest series from the romance queen.

This was an absolutely delightful story! The unrequited feelings that Caitlin had carried for Jason Baird were finally returned in this tale. I first met the Baird family in the story Ice, Ice Maybe? which is about Jason's sister, Becca. It was fun to open this book and realize the connection that I didn't know was there.
Jason was the epitome of a grump as the story opened. But it soon became clear that it was mostly because he had experienced so much loss and had to take on so much responsibility with the care of his siblings, giving up what I really wanted to do with his life. I liked seeing him hand over much of the weight of the farm and begin to look at how he wanted to live his life.
And the way he pursued Caitlin. Yeah, that was pretty romantic as he began to realize that she was everything that he had ever wanted. These two had great chemistry together and a sweet camaraderie that was entirely their own. Seeing these two find love together made me happy.

I love how Caitlin and Jason have been in each other’s orbits for years but neither was willing to step out and do something about it. It goes to show how much timing matters. I’m so glad after years of not enjoying navy life Caitlin was able to find her place and what makes her happy (I’m looking at you Mary dough). Jason needed a wake up call and I’m glad his family more or less forced him into it. It allowed him to open his life up for Caitlin and that’s when I think the real change in him happened.
This story is a dual pov, closed door romance. It is the beginning of a new series but like most of Ginny’s other stories they all intertwine. That being said, this story can be read as a stand alone novel.

When you fall in love at a young age will it last or will life get in the way. Caitlin was a young girl when she fell head over heels for her best friends older brother, but as life happened he got grumpy. When she came home from service her country he saw her again. Could he feel the same way she still did? Will they get a chance? How many more obstacles can there be? I loved how Ginny Sterling built her characters into people I could see and feel. I would recommend this book to all who be in lasting love.

This was my second book by this author and though the story started out feeling surface level on the emotions, we get to see more of the emotions and thoughts of the characters as the story goes on. I think this adds complexity to the characters and allows the reader to connect with them more. There were several scenes that really stood out for me. The scene with Jason and Caitlin in the airplane had me laughing while the whole scenario with Mrs. Baird's ring being found was very heartfelt and poignant. Overall, this is an entertaining story of finding love despite life's obstacles.

Wow!!! What a way to start a new series.
Ginny, I love how you spin a remarkable story and this one is awesome. I laughed and shed some tears as I read about Jason and Catlin's story. It is a treasure. The storyline is fabulous and creativity well written along with increditable and fascinating characters and I can't wait to read the next one in this remarkable series.

oh this story
I read it in one day because I was so riveted. The story was so heartwarming and so exciting and so much love in it. It warmed my heart and melted it at the same time.
It shows it love can happen even when it’s not the right time it will happen later when it is the right time and that’s what happened to Kaitlyn and Jason. Great story.

Fantastic
This was great, the waiting and wishing and thinking it will never happen. Jason held out for what he thought was duty. Can she win? She is about to give up. This author finds ways to make the impossible happen.

Loved it!
Ginny Sterling does not disappoint! I am in awe of the amount of stories and skill she has drawing the reader in to her characters. I have not read a book by this author that I haven’t loved. Thank you again Ginny!
