Logan is the perfect example of an alpha male with never ending determination to get what he wants. He’s not afraid to let Rylee know how he’s feels and do anything he can to win her over. Plus, he has a filthy mouth so that’s a win all in itself, right?
Rylee can only be described as feisty and bratty. She loves to provoke the bear because she knows just how good his punishment can be. 🔥

I just read my ARC copy of this Novella. It’s a fast paced obsession love at first sight book. Spicy level for me would be 3.5. Fast moving plot with some cutesy romantic scenes as well. A love they are both afraid to give into. Logan is a Dom with a soft side. Rylee is a brat who can’t help but obey Logan. Their attraction to each other is raw.
It’s a nice quick read to pass your time between novels or series.

I was all for the experience reading this short story! Loved the storyline and all the spice 😍 A hot ranger obsessed with the girl he couldn’t get over years before seeing her?! Hot forest sex AND a happy ending within a couple hours read? Yep I’m sold!
For as quick of a read this was the author packed a lot in and it made the story feel completed by the end, and not just like it was leaving off in the middle.

I went into this book thinking it had everything I love!

And it delivered! But for me because its a novella it all felt very rushed! Everything I love about those books was missing because it was a quick and short read. The writing was great, I enjoyed the way she painted a picture without it being to wordy. But it was made to be a longer book! Bridget Adrienne from what I have read loves a fast burn! BUT i LIVE for a slow burn and the dragging out of the inevitable brother finds out.
If you love a quick burn, a fast read or just some good spice then this is a book for you!
I look forward to reading more of Bridget's books in the future.

This book was short, spicy, and hot! Logan is a park ranger and has the hots for his best friend’s little sister ❤️🔥 When Rylee decides to take a hike on a trail in Logan’s woods, he shows her what she’s been missing out on in the two years since they’ve crossed paths.

Received this short and sweet story as an ARC (thank you Bridget!)
Luke and Rylee are broody and sassy. He loves her behind his dark demeanour and she is used to pushing everyone away due to her insecurities.
This book is just short enough for you to fly through it, but still get the details of the intimate relationship.
My only criticism for this story is that I feel it was very rushed (which it is quite short so that makes sense). But I would have loved to experience the relationship bloom more. I don’t need 500 pages of fluff but just a few more pages of development would have been great.
I will say, I could see this story verging on dark romance. Luke gives off some stalker vibes. So this story may be great for those looking to move from contemporary romance to dark romance!

My second ARC! I love doing these so much already!
Rylee and Logan— the forbidden brothers best friend / best friends sister type romance.
As I was reading, I was quite surprised at how fast everything felt. Although, novellas usually are. I was roughly 15 pages in and BAM we started the spice. (No complaints here!)
I have to say, for a novella….. there’s a LOT more spice than I anticipated and that was a fun surprise!
The only downfall for novellas, it just goes by SO fast and feels SO rushed. I personally downloaded the extra bonus scene to add a little more to my reading session because well, I picked this book up and didn’t set it down until I finished it haha.
Overall a fun and cutesy story and I was happy to have a little epilogue to see into Rylee and Logan’s future. This I would like to actually have more of! How did things go during the years of Rylee and Logan actually being together? How did Colton react? Where did Rylee end up working? (Since she turned down that Texas job!)
So many future opportunities here for more books and I look forward to reading them if / when they come out too!

Lord have mercy Logan is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I love how absolutely feral he is. The chapters from Logan's POV capture his unhinged desire so well. This is definitely a quick and spicy read. It took me just under an hour. I wish it was longer! The dynamic between Logan and Rylee is really intense and captivating. I love a fast burn, cut right to the chase kinda romance.
I also think I need to go to trader joes now and restock all my favorite snacks 😂

This novella is feral. Unhinged. Totally wild. And I devoured every messy, muddy, delicious page of it hours after I received this book.
Rylee is a 23-year-old who is burnt out from a crushing layoff, and not exactly the "let’s hike for healing" type. But when her brother bails on their planned wilderness trek, she ends up stranded at a trailhead—alone—until Logan, her brother’s best friend (and longtime ranger), shows up. And hoo boy. He’s gruff, growly, emotionally repressed, and oh yeah, secretly obsessed with her.
From there, it’s a fast-moving, high-heat ride through the woods—literally and metaphorically.
Rylee’s snarky inner monologue had me cracking up, while Logan’s feral possessiveness is straight-up primal. I oftentimes found myself saying “Yes, sir.”
And the steam level? Thermonuclear. There’s a cabin. There’s mud. There’s hiking gear used in ways REI never intended. You’ve been warned (or rather invited). And when Logan says things like, “You’re mine. You hear me? Mine.”—you’ll believe him.

I want to preface this review with I am NOT an "insta-love" girlie! I just am not. However, when I signed up to ARC this book, I knew what I was getting into and I was/am honored to have been chosen.
I've never read a brother's bff trope before and I wanted this ARC like I want the last Winter Edition Redbull in the local gas station cooler. I *thought* I might could be swayed to love the inst-love tropes.
I cannot.
I am an enemies-to-lover bitch through and through.
And that's okay.
With that being said.... the insta-love in this short novella was *PERFECTLY* balanced. I have read some in the past and I wanted to throw my entire Kindle from a 17 ft window. This insta-love did not give me those feelings. That is probably because it was also wrapped in a scruff, chiseled mountain park ranger who had a thing for light-ish stalking, was completely obsessive and possessive, and had a mouth on him that would make the Pope blush.
Logan hit the top book boyfriend list because if he isn't secretly obsessing, pining over, and stalking me for two years straight via my social media to know everything about me right down to the snacks I like from Trader Joe's then I don't fucking want him.
Look ladies, if he wanted to, he would.
And Logan did.
Rylee.
This girl.
The mouth on her.
Brat recognizes brat.
But also this bitch did shit out of spite just to prove people wrong and I fucked hard with that. Because that is essentially my entire life's existence.
This book burned fast, hot and dirty. I literally finished it in under two hours with annotations. While I am not an insta-love girl, I did become a fan of Bridget Adrienne's writing style and I will be reading more of her standalone stories because they are 🤌🤌🤌.

Ranger's Obsession is a short and spicy insta-love romance, that is the total opposite of what I normally read. I call this kind of book a palette refresher - a perfect in-between read from the books I normally read, and it did its job well!

I decided to give this an ARC read because it's so different from my normal slow-burn, enemies to lovers fantasy reads, and I devoured it in a little over an hour. It served its purpose well - lots of spice and a fun forbidden romance.
Because of the length, it did feel rushed and I would have enjoyed a little more backstory about Rylee's relationship with her brother Colton, just to understand why her and Logan are so terrified of being together and Colton finding out.
I really enjoyed Logan's character though. He's the dark and broody kinda guy we all love, and his possessive, obsessive thoughts from the moment he first sees Rylee is fire. Rylee is kind of a brat, which is a little annoying but at the same time, she's young and her confidence has been shattered, so I get it.
The dialogue is a little cheesy sometimes, but I think that's part of the instalove thing. I'd like a bit more development on the characters relationship but I do understand the restraints on such a short book.
Overall, if you want a nice, short spicy read with rough sex and a little dom/sub behaviour thrown in, you'll really enjoy this!

It’s perfect for a quick pick-up. Passions collide for Logan and Rylee at their first encounter and keep building throughout as they get caught up in an unexpected storm, their spiraling emotions, and each other.
🥾 Along with their immediate attraction, Logan is all in to prove how much he loves Rylee. Even though she’s at a low point in her life, unable to find a job after being let go from her dream job, Logan repeatedly demonstrates his commitment to their future.

This was so hard for me to put down, I have always found a “forbidden” romance to be my cup of tea, but to add in consent play, orgasm denial, choking and let’s not get started on the dirty talk!
This has been such an amazing read, I started it and then I just couldn’t stop! Logan is the man of my dreams, Rylee is my spirit animal the trauma dumbing, the campfire date, the rough raw passion of their first time…. Ugh! I could read this over and over and over again!
Next time I go hiking I’m praying for a Ranger like Logan ;)

I find that I enjoy reads with more character and plot development. This was a super short read so that was lacking, but it was written in a way that was easy to follow and flowed with the our current times. Because it was short, it was basically insta-lust/love that takes place two years after the two MCs first meet. While I love instalove, I still like a bit of realism to a story, which is probably why I usually don't vibe with shorter reads. I get why she loves him practically instantly:
Anyhoo, it was a short, spicy read that I was able to get through in under an hour and a good palate cleanser for my next read.

Ranger's Obsession was a super fast read (it only took approximately 2 hours to read) with tons of spice. Like the description says it's a brother's best friend/best friend's sister romance with instalove. I would say it was more like insta-obsession that grew into a deeper love. As a novella the pace is fast all the way through, with the events happening in about a week (though they met years before). Logan and Rylee's story was sweet and fraught with pining and heavy doses of guilt.

This was my very first ARC Review and it was such a fun wild ride! I am blown away how well Bridget was able to write such a fast paced but well-rounded story in only 71 pages. She had me at possessive MMC!
Rylee is down on her luck and in a rut with life so her brother suggests they meet up for a hike in the woods where his best friend and Park Ranger Logan looks after the trails. A sudden cancellation from her brothers leaves Rylee with Logan alone and the instant obsession he has over seeing her two years ago is a damn waiting to break loose.
I highly recommend this fast paced and well written novella, the story was woven together tactfully, and the spicy scenes were great, but didn’t overwhelm the story. I’m not usually a fan of instalove but it was done very well here. Excited to read more from this author!

This book is a super fast paced with some really good spicy scenes especially in the beginning.
We have Rylee who is struggling with her past year failures and constantly worried about what her family thinks. Then Logan, who doesn’t really care about what his family thinks and becomes what he loves a ranger. He falls into obsession and love with Rylee at her brother’s (Logan’s best friend) wedding. The story picks up two years later during a hike and oh my this was probably my favorite part.
We see them fight the internal battles of choosing what they want and desire over Colton’s opinion and feelings. Caught red handed they get their HEA.
Overall I liked the plot and the writing. I just wanted more.

Rylee and Logan are two totally relatable characters. I LOVE the fact that the author had a different way of the two characters overcoming their main challenge. The writing and storline were very good, my main downfall with this is that its so short. I NEEDED MORE from them, there were so many ways to dive deeper into them both (MMC + FMC). Bit this novella is giving and HITTING all the spots. It’s fun, playful and 😈 satisfying. The authors writing style is smooth, and gives just the right amount of details, charm and depth needed to make this novella full and compelling. If you are looking for a palette cleaner (one with darkened scenes but sweet all in a short read) then this is your book.

Just finished Ranger’s Obsession and I’m seriously obsessed. I devoured it in under an hour because once Rylee and Logan collided, I couldn’t look away. The chemistry between them? Electric. Logan is dark, protective, and a little untamed, and Rylee keeps up with him every step of the way with her fierce attitude and big heart.
The tension was off the charts and the spice? Yeah… it was definitely spicing 😮💨
Bridget, you seriously ate with this one. I’m 100% grabbing a copy off Amazon to keep on my shelf like a little trophy.

This book was a very well wrote fast paced spicy romance! I LOVE brothers bestfriend trope. It’s very short and sweet. This books gets right to the point Logan mmc knows what he wants and sees the opportunity and takes it. Rylee is in a bit of a early life crises. This is book also has much opportunity to be a tad longer if wanted too. Would be nice to dig deeper about rylees and hers parent’s relationship as well as Logan’s and his parents but, in the end this is a quick highly steamy romance and it really knocks that genre out of the park.
If you like- brothers best friend, he falls first and HARD, possessive, and some good dirty talk this is the book for you!

Since it’s only 70 pages things move FAST, you gotta acknowledge that before going into it. The book takes off running and it never stops. You have to like fast paced, possessive, best-friend/sister romance because it’s bangin the whole time. Which I appreciated for a nice little book between the big fantasy books I’ve been reading. The perfect palette cleanser!
Was it a bit over the top with the obsession? Yes.
Did reading the spicy scenes in public make me pull my sweater half way up my face? Also, Yes.
Did I love every minute of it? YOU BETCHA.
I really liked Bridget’s writing style and can’t wait for more books from her!
