Her stories grow from the ancient glens, big skies and folklore of the Isle of Man, her home for more than forty years. In The Glen, rabbits keep cosy burrows beneath Old Oak, Owl reads from the Great Book of All Things, and the Sun answers to Sunny when he's at home in his slippers. The stories are gentle and thoughtful, made for reading aloud and often shared between generations at the end of the day.
Tales of The Glen has hundreds of thousands of readers across fourteen countries. Her books include Tales of The Glen, Rabbit: Guardian of The Glen and The Great Book of Questions and Bedtime (October 2026), all published under her own imprint, Victoria Beata Publishing.

This soothing, gorgeously-illustrated book reads like an adult version of a children's bedtime story, and it evokes a deep, timeless nostalgia that is rarely found these days. "Tales of the Glen" fulfills so many reading moods, be it for fantasy, inspiration, anthropomorphism, philosophical thoughts, or simply a calming story. Victoria Beata's YouTube channel, which bears the same name as this first book, contains more tales and beautiful artistry to enjoy. Her work has quickly taken its place among my favorites!

This was my first visit to the Glen! What a beautiful place to visit. I first read the book and then mailed it to my daughter (on deployment), she loved it too and began to share it with her then 18-month-old son. Sometimes on facetime, other times recorded videos via email, they shared precious time together. The flow of these words, the gentle voice, values that someone so young might not quite understand the label yet understands the meaning. These stories are so well written and the artwork is amazing. Sometimes when attentions span is short, we just talk about the pictures of his choice. Other times we read, just the two of us before a nap/bedtime, I find this time precious. All Victoria's books are a treasure, for young and old (grama here). You will love them too, perfect for all ages to be sure, visit the Glen soon. These books are not a one-time read; you will pick it up and read it again like me.

The illustrations are beautiful and give you a glimpse of The Glen, a magical place where all creatures and things in the forest have a voice. It is a place of wonder and beauty, a place where you can just be at peace.

I LOVE the art, and the stories are amazing. It's a very unique approach to storytelling, I find. I purchased the book for myself, but my children are clamoring to read it or for me to read it to them. There is so much peace and quiet. The stories make you slow down and view things like wind and a brook at the back of your house as persons of sorts. The stories bring out a sense of magic.
