Fallon is a new Professor at UMASS trying to get her research off the ground after her first year of teaching. In the past she has always made her research her first priority, often causing relationship problems when she wouldn't commit.
After meeting Caroline Woods, owner of Wood's Cafe, she soon finds that she would gladly change her priorities for the right person.
Caroline and Fallon, however, are both withholding information about themselves that may drive the other person away.
