I really wanted to leave 3.5 stars. The story would have read better if there weren’t mistakes and also the fact that the perpetrator is an easy target. I dislike the portrayal of a person with intellectual impairment as the offender even though it does happen. And that people like him will end up in forensic detention indefinitely which means forever without any real rehabilitation. I know - I’ve worked in the advocacy space around this area.

If only there was more depth to the story that linked the somewhat shady dealings with the other characters

Another brilliant Tony Packer story. I did not predict the conclusion at all, but it makes perfect sense once you know.

Great characters, great plot twists and terrific writing style that really keeps you on the edge of your seat. Some really funny bits as well but it really builds on the characters.

I have been really enjoying the series. I’d say I’ve been reading a book per day whilst I’ve been away in Perth can you believe it as I live in Canberra. In series No. seven Some sections had me in stitches so different to the others just loved it.
