The truth about SilverGate burns like enchanted silver against vampire skin.

My blood holds the key to something so valuable that ancient powers would sacrifice anything to possess it. Even me.

But my power was never meant to be a weapon. It was meant to be a sanctuary.

As rival forces converge on what I've become, I realise the true nature of defence isn't about walls or shields or protection spells.

It's about deciding who deserves to survive.

And who doesn't.

This is a dark paranormal romance book 3 out of 3 in a brand new reverse harem romance by USA Today Bestselling Author, Eve Newton. Set in England and written in British English, you will come across TWs so please see inside for details.

Awww I’m so happy with the ending, but I was so scared for William throughout! Glad to read this ending and can’t wait for what’s next from Eve, as always!

This is such an epic conclusion. One that was very worth the wait to get to…
As always we are given a story line that sucks you in and holds on to you with a death grip until your finally given the answers you needed. And trust me these are answers you never saw coming. I’m so incredibly thrilled for this ending and to see Isolde and all her men live on together. A bond formed that isn’t breaking anytime soon.
Our time at Silver gate may be over for now but I have a feeling we may see something from it again… one day

I can't praise this book and series up enough! This was a cracking conclusion to an outstanding series. So much was packed into this finale with all of the plot twists flying out in all directions. Action packed, fast paced and steamy as hell. It definitely kept me on my toes from start to finish. Just loved it. A brilliant read.

Epic conclusion to this trilogy. Action upon action upon action. All the action. Isolde, CJ, Cassiel and William really don’t have an easy time defeating the bad guy, and there are still a few curve balls thrown in to make it extra challenging.
This *needs* to be read. No ifs or buts. It’s just … yeah. No words. Loved it.

Wow - Dark Vows should be on everyone's bookshelf

Death will bow down to her or feel her wrath - no one and nothing separates Isolde and her guys, and exists to tell the tale. The world has been warned!

This is the absolute perfect ending to this series. The white knuckle tension is back with a bang as we join Isolde and her guys as they fight for their lives, the academy and the very realm they live in. Can they come out the other side unscathed? Or will they have their own battle scars and thorns to show? You just KNOW Eve Newton grabs you by your soul and won't let go until the very end... If then

I loved it so much I immediately ordered the paperback!

*Reviewing as a series, not a specific book in the series since this is the last book and my points are most relevant here*
I enjoyed the series but I have 3 complaints:
1. Isolde and Cordelia did not spend enough time together, specifically Cordelia was far more of a friend to Isolde. It felt like Cordelia just existed for the convenience of the ending, slipped in here or there. I know a lot was happening but that whole “friendship” felt weird and forced.
2. Isolde was hypocritical AF in the way she treated Isaac… honestly, I don’t understand that at all. She did exactly what her parents did to them both, to him, again. Even in the end Isolde and CJ didn’t seem remotely truly apologetic, the author treated him similarly to Cordelia, he just existed because he needed to but had no real substance and was overlooked by the main characters.
3. It felt like a lot of redirection from the beginning of the series to the end. Like there was a direction but then the author got another idea and kept redirecting without ensuring it was cohesive enough (books to dolls to a new queen to wanting her straight up dead… felt excessive idk) Maybe I just missed things because I have a habit of reading to exhaustion but these are my current thoughts on the matter.

That being said it was a nice easy read and overall enjoyable. I liked the characters for the most part and the spice was decent.

This was a fun series but seriously flawed. The side characters or lack there of. Where were they? We only have a handful of conversations with the only character that's friendly towards the FMC outside her harem and brother. We're to believe that they are good friends?

Her twin brother was very important to the FMC in the beginning of the story. I was excited to see where his character went, but he COMPLETELY disappears for most of the series. That's saying something considering they all go to the same academy. One of the MMC's is his best friend and classmate, and the other is his twin sister. Huge battles took place that killed mass amounts of students in the courtyard and not once did any of the characters wonder if her twin brother survived or checked to see if he was okay. it's like the author forgot about him entirely at times.

With that out of the way, I did enjoy the storyline. There's plenty of action, spice, and I was seriously concerned for William. Everyone left me feeling suspicious. The turns in the story as things came to light really brought the complexity of the plot together.

Good

Isolde, Cassiel, William, and C.J., complete their stories in this book, the third and final one in the first SilverGate Academy trilogy.
We have watched as Isolde goes from an isolated and protected twin, and heads into the fight to prevent herself, and her mates, from being corrupted and turned into a power that would be used by those who have only nefarious purposes.
Secrets are revealed, evils exposed, and battles fought and lost or won.

This is a spicy series, though it’s actually remarkably balanced between spice and story, which makes for an entertaining read for RH fantasy fans.
The first two books end on cliffhangers, which makes it an easy series to binge read, especially now it’s a complete one!
There are a few intriguing dangling ends, (mostly regarding other characters like Isaac, Isolde’s twin) which I hope will be tied off in future books.
Ultimately, this is an entertaining trilogy, with a satisfying ending, lots of spice, plenty of action and some ties to the author’s other series (but not so much that you need to read those first). A good choice for RH fantasy lovers.

Around of applause for this amazing ending! This book was soooooooo good!! I cried when it was over. Not sure on what I am supposed to do now. This book and series is definitely a must read!

5/5 chilis
5/5 action
5/5 twists

Isolde- wow! I am amazed on how well she grew, how well she adapted and so much more! You get it girlll!!

CJ- my heart can't handle not having him in my life anymore. He is my top book boyfriend of the year. I am so proud of the man he became in this book.

Cassiel- honestly if it wasn't for him so much bad would have happened. Thank the goddess he was there and became baddie we needed. Love him.

William- YESSSSSSS!! (READ the book to understand why I am screaming!) I cried, screamed and swooned for him in this one.

Blackridge- I see you!! So much mystery and so much need to know.

Isaac- I feel bad for him. He needs his bestie and twin. Can't wait until his book!!

Highly recommend this book and series!! Check this out NOW!!!

Pretty good

Isolde is a strong lead character. That said, I really don't know where the strength came from. She was sequestered away for 21 years, yet she comes out and has social skills? She's innocent but knows how to handle guys? Kind of strange. Still, I did like her. I wasn't a huge fan of CJ because he was just too overbearing. He did calm down some towards the end, but he definitely wasn't my favorite. Cassiel was my favorite. He was rational and sensitive. William was a strange situation. The whole ghost to life thing kind of threw me for a loop.

I did enjoy the plot. It was well developed. I was disappointed that Isaac wasn't involved in it though. From the first book we're told that twin vampires are some big deal. But Isaac is basically ignored throughout the series. There are a couple of mentions of him, but until the end he has no real role in the series. It was weird.

I liked the ending and I think the series is worth reading. It was entertaining.

Another great series by Eve Newton. Isolde and her 3 guys go through some stuff. So Issy is hidden away for 21 years and then thrust into Silvergate Academy where her bro goes. She ends up being so much more then just special because she's a vamp twin which is rare. CJ, Cassel and William. Vampire/Dragon, Fallen Angel and a Saguimonarch like a blood architect turned ghost turned back. I loved how it talked about diff realms and the nexus point. It made me think of the Mist Hallow books and just super smart. Also, we got a glimpse of the next series Dark Hollow and Im def looking forward to that as it's described as the more unhinged Academy. I loved all the guys but CJ was def my fav. Lots of spice and tons of plot!

It felt like I took a year to finish it. I'm so mad because the story had so much potential!!
The plot doesn't thicken, it's one step forward, two steps back THE WHOLE BOOK!
Poor Isaak is useless but still makes appearances sometimes. just so we don’t forget him...honestly if there was a war on campus and your TWIN SISTER was in the eye of it, I would expect you to be a bit more pushy with her, but nope.
Poor William does nothing but die and be resurrected the whole book. Talk about traumas...

Issac the brother has all been forgotten with a couple of quick cameos. Their vow of “we must not separate, we are stronger together”, always leads to them to being separated. They promise to ruin, kill, etc Damadere and they only mildly affect her. CJ’s parents offer to help, but he declines bc it’s “their” fight. Ummm…the point is to get rid of this eternal evil, who cares who helps. Also, how did Issy become this experienced combat strategist? It is a HEA ending which I’m glad, but there were plot holes.

Another great series.

I really enjoyed this series. It was action and mystery from the first page. And adding the ghost and the twists to the plot made this one of my favorites by far. Definitely read if you like supernatural romances that keep you guessing who the good and bad guys are, plus over possessive alpha types.
Some time these characters make you want to knock their heads together because they’re caught up in their own heads to see what’s in front of them, but I guess that’s part of being stubborn and adds to the story.
Good read.

What a conclusion to a fabulous trilogy!!! Eve is a wordsmith who captivates with her stories and I was eager to dive into Dark Vows! We have watched Isolde develop into the bada$$ that she was meant to be and supported by her men, CJ, William and Cassiel who are dark, possessive and will burn the world down for her. With a potential threat looming after one of them, Eve delivers passion, intensity and action!

Absolutely loved this book. This is the ending to the SilverGate Academy trilogy and such a phenomenal conclusion. I have loved Isolde since book 1. She was and I think going to be a favorite character of mine. Loved this world. Tons of action throughout story. And don’t forget the steam. Oh the steam was amazing. This was an absolutely incredible story that I Highly recommend reading. Definitely will not disappoint. Again absolutely loved this entire series.

I VOW you will love this finale to the series!

Oh, here I was devouring this book and getting answers, and then BAM! Plot twist! I was like Oh no she didn't! (Yeah I talk to myself while reading...so what lol)
So Isolde is coming into her powers with the help of her three men, CJ, William, and Cassiel, who will do anything for her, and I mean ANYTHING! I enjoyed eating this book...yeah you need to read this book and then you will get that last line.

This is just another great example of an amazing series. Isolde is really growing to her own and I love that. She is confident, takes on the world in stride. I'd expect that from Eve of course but I still love it each time. Though the guys are really amazing and I'll be re-reading this series I can tell as to live my life without them? Not gonna happen. I absolutely loved it. The worldbuilding is great, the story captures you by the heart and leaves you wanting more.

Satisfying

This final book in the trilogy didn’t quite live up to the excellence of book one, but was a definite improvement over the second book.
I can’t really explain what was missing. I read to escape from the icky things in real life. Book 1 was a total escape. Book 2 lost focus. I was never able to completely sink into the last book after that.
I still recommend reading the trilogy. It’s vastly better than most of the RH fantasy series out there.

Dark vows

The final book in this world does not disappoint. It's action-packed from beginning to end. Questions are answered and some revelations you didn't even know you needed? Yup, those as well. They come together as unit, in so many ways. So much growth and potential, that you just can't help but love them

That ending!!! This was an incredible conclusion to the series. I loved the the development not only in Isodle but the group as a whole. They were lovable characters that were easy to connect with and the development made me even more attached. This finale book was filled with danger, action and emotions. I was not ready for this series to be over.

What an incredible ending to a fantastic series! Eve has the ability to write worlds that pull you in and sink their claws into you. I was sad to see this trilogy end, but the way she did it cemented Isolde's status as a bad**s. Her men are the pièce de résistance. Im looking forward to another possible spin off series??

This book took me through a wide range of emotions. From happy to sad, to angry, back to happy. Scared for William and in love with Cassiel. Cassiel my fallen angel (swoon). The characters are well written and the growth of the group as a whole was exciting to see. I really enjoyed the series. I've said it before and I will say it again and again Eve is the queen of plot twists.

By far the best finale I’ve ever read to a series! The way this story was woven thru the trilogy was just what I needed to keep me engaged and the ending did not disappoint! The colorful characters, wonderful world building and how the two just immersed me has me in awe. Don’t sleep on this series.

Hmm

Hmm this series confuses me on how I should review and rate this. Its good but also needs work. There's repetition and inconsistencies but I did enjoy the main story line. I am invested in this world though so I'll let that speak for itself because theres a lot left to answer here and Im hoping it'll be in more of the books being written or have been written.

Such a good series!

I love Isolde's growth. The guys had great development as well. I think CJ is still my favorite. This was an amazing finale for the series. As always with Eve, there was action, plot twists, and steam.

Glad

This was a really good story and series but I’m glad it’s over. It had begun to drag a bit. The chaos was redundant and had lost its edge. Overall, it was a good read and I don’t regret it for a second. A++++++

Dark Vows is a fantastic finale to the SilverGate Academy series. The series is full of twists, action, and steam. Isolde is developing her powers with the aid of her three men. CJ, Cassiel, and William will do anything for Isolde. Highly recommend reading this series, but do check the TWs.
