The White Day scenes were super sweet, especially Rintaro baking for Kaoruko again and it was fun seeing the rest of the group exchange gifts and just enjoy being together. I also loved how the story gave more depth to Natsusawa, showing that he’s aware of his feelings for Subaru but choosing to hold back out of respect for where she’s at, that level of patience was really thoughtful. And just when it seemed like the volume would end on that light, cozy note, Kaoruko’s mom collapsing pulled the rug a bit and set up the big meeting between Rintaro and her father, which felt like the calm shifting toward something more serious. It might not have been the most eventful volume but it was still charming and easy to get through.

Era obvio que iba a pasarle algo a la madre de Kaoruko, desde que Kosuke le contó a Rintaro lo de su madre supe que tendríamos un capítulo con Fuuko en el hospital. Me gustó que Rintaro se sintiera más seguro sobre sí mismo y el consuelo que puede brindarle a su novia que enseguida buscó una oportunidad para estar con ella y asegurarse de hacerle saber que él es su "paraíso" seguro, donde puede llorar y quejarse cuanto quiera que él la sostendrá en sus brazos siempre. Beware of the SPOILERS in this review!

Well, that was cute. It wasn’t one of the best volumes so far but it had some great moments. I think it concludes the plotline about the guy that inspired Rintaro really well and also brings back Kaoruko’s mom’s problems in a compelling way.

So yeah, I liked how that chef comes and talks to Rintaro cause he recognizes the passion in him. I also love that Rintaro thanked him in the end and I honestly think he will ask to work at their patisserie after high school.

My favorite scene was definitely the one where the other group members hung out together and Saku just casually admitted to himself that he is in love with Subaru. And also how they agreed to study together again. Not to mention how awesome it was to see Ayato babysit Madoka and Usami when they were on the playground.

I also think it was a good choice for the volume to include Kaoruko’s mom’s illness. I kinda forgot about that but it got me kind of emotional and I love that we got to see Kaoruko’s father because of it as well. I do think this part dragged a little so it wasn’t my favorite but I think it worked great for developing Kaoruko’s character and showing us a more vulnerable side of her.

Anyway, it wasn’t the best but I still very much enjoyed it. I’ll be giving this one 4 stars and I hope the manga starts picking up a little, especially since I want to see Saku and Subaru’s relationship develop.

Tomo más chill luego de los últimos 2, adoro la relación que tiene Waguri y Rintaro, es que no sé puede ser más mono y más goals, Madoka y Usumi son gemelos separados al nacer, necesito amigos así, y Saku, COMO QUÉ NO DIRÁS NADA ‽‽‽ Ya estoy viendo la cantidad de canas que me va a sacar este hombre y pareja secundaria. Pd: espero que lo de la madre no sea recurrente, no quiero llorar más veces por esto :(

El que RinRin haya hablado con su inspiración de la infancia se me hizo bellísimo.
Salu enamorado de Subaru es tan ay mi coram dicho por Madoka "le tengo lastima al chico que se enamore de ella" y no porque fuese en mala forma, sino porque Subaru bb ha sufrido muchísimo.

Amo a Rintaro en la cocina, es taaaan guapo con uniforme y tiene mucha presencia ufff.

I loved the scene where Kaoruko opened up to Rintaro and let herself cry. And Rintaro was real smooth with thatkiss, I have to admit. I have the feeling that Kaoruko‘s mom will die sometime soon, just so it adds a bit more drama and tension between them.
