About the author

I am a creative, wonderful, wacky woman; teacher, writer, mom and grandmother, wife and daughter. I love children, travel, camping and hiking and I am addicted to reading and writing. I am a storyteller and a friend. Many people in my family have been adopted and I work with special needs children. I have published a trio of YA fantasy Novels about Duffy Barkley and a Time twisted tale of the Oregon Trail, plus three picture books for children. I love to look for the beauty in this world and help others see it too. I still believe Love trumps hate.

I would like to thank Dixie Dawn Miller Goode for sending me a copy of 'Moonrise', which I won in the Goodreads Giveaway. The reaction from my grandson spoke volumes. He loved the colourful pictures and wanted me to read the book to him over and over again.
