The Grumpy Billionaire Protector

Rate this book
I’ve fallen for my departed wife’s much younger doppelganger.

After grieving for three years, I found my dead wife’s lookalike—a twenty-years-younger version of her—staring at me.

Lucy is my home staging designer. She has the bright smile and challenging eyes I miss so much. But underneath the appearance, she’s like no other I’ve ever met. Our instant attraction is palpable.

The sunshine she brings wakes the dormant passion within me, reminding me that I’m still capable of love.

Falling for her is easy—she's confident, funny, and curious. Her laughter is more contagious than a flu bug. Keeping our hands to ourselves is…hard.

Our instant attraction brings us great danger. Her psychopathic stalker makes us both his targets. The man is dangerous and obsessive, and he's ready to kill just to get what he wants.

I will do everything I can to protect Lucy, even taking a bullet for her.

Lucy and Patrick have the best romance story ever and the HEA ending is like a chef's kiss to absolute perfection. This book has love, passion and the single dad trope that makes this book very enjoyable and romantic all wrapped up nicely together. Yes, I do recommend you read this book by Jenna and after you see how terrific it is grab some of her other amazing books as well.

The dynamic of this book was really interesting to me. While it centered around Lucy and Patrick, the secondary characters played a huge role on this book. The connection between Patrick and Lucy was both spicy and meaningful, which you don't see a lot in these types of books. I thought this book was unique. It was a quick and easy read that even had me laughing at times. It was worth the read.
