A warrior of Trollworld, the setting of the fantasy role-playing game, Tunnels & Trolls, has a misadventure that starts in a tavern (naturally), involves spilled ale, swashbuckling and at least one scantily clad heroine, as all fine Trollworld tales should boast.

Originally published February 28, 2011 as part of a contest run by Ken St. Andre to write "flash fiction" inspired by a picture. This was one of three stories submitted for the contest.
