This was the first book I had to read for my grad school courses! It was definitely a great overview of arts education research, and got my brain in the right spot for a research methodology class, but I did feel like it was a bit antiquated - I definitely KNEW I was reading a book from the 90's the entire time, and so much has happened in theatre and in the world of research and technology since then. It was still very informative and I enjoyed reading about the different approaches to drama education research.
