I was given an ARC of this book and I enjoyed the action and magical elements.
This seemed to be the last in the series where battles were won or lost and the thirst for power was centre to the plot. The twins and parents fight against tyranny while innocents hope for the best.
The sense of place was well done as were the descriptions of the battles. I also liked how thoughts and feelings were involved giving depth to the story.
