Full Force sees Mason Sharpe in Washington D.C, for personal reasons rather than anything untoward, that is until he finds himself witnessing a murder. It doesn't take long for things to rapidly escalate, with the stakes as high as they come, both for Mason and national security.
The evolution of this great character continues, as does his ability to get into all kinds of trouble and get himself out of it. This series goes from strength to strength, consistently built on Sharpe's humanity.
A superb read, full of action, suspense and emotion.
Thank you to NetGalley and Inkubator Books for the ARC!
First of all I have to give a shoutout to Logan Ryles for coming up with this Mason Sharpe guy and second I have to thank Netgalley and Inkubator Books for making it available to me. I really like this series and enjoy reading about all the problems Mason encounter trying to roam the country and play the violin. This time the stakes are higher than ever, someone is a threat to the nation and Sharpe just finds himself in the middle of things, It's a good thrilling fast paced race to the finish in this story and he finds himself alone and done with D.C.
This is probably the most riveting and complex Mason Sharpe adventure yet!
Finding himself in DC, he tries to protect a woman being attacked but fails. Soon he finds himself under the gun from multiple entities, and it's not clear who he can trust while he tries to figure out what's going on. Before long, he finds himself deep in a conspiracy beyond his wildest imagination.
We begin to see a different side of Mason Sharpe as the implications become clearer of all that's at stake. At odds with the stalkerish FBI agent who's ex of the woman he's seeing, he ends up reluctantly teaming up with him to both protect her and the nation, too.
Will he and his grudging FBI teammates get the job done in time, or will all be lost? Can Mason protect the one he loves, or will he have to give her up?
For those who've followed Mason's adventures since the start, you'll notice he's gone from dishing out justice to locally-based criminal elements to uncovering vast plots and conspiracies involving our nation as a whole and even our international rivals. This demonstrates the skill that Ryles has gained over the last few years in putting together riveting, intricate plot elements that only enhance the storyline.
I highly recommend Full Force, and can't wait to see what's in store for Mason Sharpe at his next destination!

Mason Sharpe isn’t here to play nice—he’s here to kick doors in and ask questions later (maybe). Full Force is like if Jason Bourne had a grudge, a gym membership, and zero tolerance for shady conspiracies.
The story kicks off with Mason trying to mind his business in DC, until he witnesses a woman being chased down like it’s The Purge: Capital Edition. He tries to save her (hero points!), but things go sideways fast. Next thing he knows, the killers are gone, the cops are useless, the FBI is acting all secret squirrel, and someone breaks into his house like it’s open-mic night for assassins.
Character-wise, Mason is the kind of guy you want on your side in a bar fight or a government takedown—loyal, deadly, and just unhinged enough to make things interesting. He’s got this no-nonsense vibe, but there’s heart under all that muscle and military grit.
Logan Ryles’ writing is fast, punchy, and action-packed. It reads like an action movie in book form—lots of bullets, backstabbing, and badassery. No fluff, just grit and gut-punches.
Bottom line? Full Force is a wild ride. If you like your thrillers with high stakes, big explosions, and a hero who doesn’t know the meaning of “back down,” grab this book and hold on.

This is the tenth book in the Mason Sharpe Thriller series and I have not read any of the other books in the series. I think by reading the prior books the reader would benefit from getting some background on Mason. However, this book went into enough detail that I didn’t feel like I was ever out of the loop on his past, his abilities, and how he thought through problems.
This book was basically 62 chapters of non-stop action. And it was AMAZING. It was so good that I believe I will be going back to the beginning of the series and starting with book 1.
No spoilers here but - while I understand the ending, based off comments/description from earlier in the book, it still made me sad. The characters really made a full arch for me. Some I didn’t like in the beginning, I liked by the end and vice versa. I’m specifically not saying they came full circle because I feel like that implies a character finished where they started and that most certainly wasn’t the case for Alex, Linda, or Mason.

The story begins with Mason in the DC area after following Evelyn who he has fallen in love with. Mason is heading to an apartment to give someone a tongue lashing. Before he can get there, he spots two individuals who wind up killing a Chinese woman. Mason is able to fight one and chase the other one who gets the better of him. Upon arriving back at where the woman died, the person Mason fought had now disappeared. Mason was taken by the police where he was questioned.
After being released, he learned that there was a great deal more going on than he thought. He eventually began working with the FBI and Evelyn was in danger, so she was taken to a safe house. Mason then set out a plan to try and finish what was going on and to keep Evelyn safe.
To learn what his role with the FBI was, why the Chinese woman was killed and how an FBI agent and Evelyn were connected, then you need to read this book. The ending is well worth it!
Mason is currently in DC living in a "studio" apt in a not so great part of town and working off the books at a mission helping put on a roof. He's there to be near girlfriend Evelyn. He's been tracking her ex-husband Alex (FBI) as he seems to be stalking her and of course sees an attack/murder of a woman he wasn't in time to save.
It doesn't seem as if the cops really care, and he feels responsible for not having saved her. Of course, he's getting involved and the deeper he looks, he is suddenly the target for having witnessed her murder. Meanwhile he tries "being normal" for Evelyn but during a dinner early in the book, you can tell this isn't going to work out no matter how much he wants it to.
His exploits find top-secret battle gear that the Chinese are determined to have no matter the cost and it ends with him partnering with Alex to "save the country". The ending is bitter sweet but the good guys win. Another fine Mason Sharpe read.
This is another thrilling read in this excellent series. When Mason witnesses a murder, he finds himself entangled with Chinese spies, FBI agents and military operations. A further complication is that one of the FBI agents is his partner's ex.
This was fast-paced as usual. The author has a knack of setting a story that hooks you right from the start , leading to a thrilling ride all the way through to the end. There was the added emotional complications this time which I enjoyed. I look forward to the next thriller.

Mason Sharpe, ex-military, wanders the country and finds people in trouble who need help. This book is one of the most exciting in the series, I have read them all. Mason is in DC, followed a reporter there whom he loves. Her former husband is FBI and somehow Mason witnesses a murder of a Chinese national who is going to see that FBI agent. The Chinese are shadowing and she is killed and Mason attacked. Mason digs into the story and it is not just Chinese agents from their embassy but their bid to steal the high tech military device being developed in Washington. Action all the way in this one. I sure hope Logan Ryles plans on more books featuring this intriguing character.
This is the type of action I enjoy. Mason became entangled in an FBI investigation, leading to bullets flying and cars crashing at high speeds. With elements like kidnapping and burning buildings, the excitement was nonstop. While reading the book, it felt like I was watching a movie. I got so engrossed that I couldn’t put it down. This is definitely a page-turner and worth every minute spent on it. I highly recommend this book to all fans of action thrillers.

I thought this was a thrilling read and I was unable to put it down. The plot was well done I liked and how it tied into current geopolitical issues and touched on future technology. Mason was his usual wrecking ball which I thoroughly enjoyed. Maybe a little over the top on some of the action and I don't think anyone would do what the antagonist(Alex) did to destroy his marriage but overall it was a great read! Keep it up Mr. Riles but do plan a great ending for Mason.
It's an understatement to say there is lots of action in these pages and fast paced action it is. I have always liked this protagonist. Mason gets a physical workout in this adventure as with all the running, fighting and just getting beat up. This is a bit of a bumpy ride. Finale is heart racing suspense and shows the mettle of the character. It's a great page turner. I liked the last couple of chapters.

This is an action packed thriller starting from chapter 1 to the very end. Mason is a great main character, well written, fighting for justice and protecting innocents. This book has him entangled in political espionage, fighting for his country, his life and his girlfriend's life. I thoroughly enjoyed every page and can't wait to read more of his adventures.

Another great book in the Mason Sharpe series. I highly recommend this series. It's action packed and I love the Army veteran Mason Sharpe. In this book, Mason is just trying to adjust to a normal life in DC. When Mason witnesses a woman being pursued and decides to step in and help her but he's too late. The woman is dead no one has any leads and when Mason investigates he is attacked also. Mason's investigation unveils a conspiracy at the highest levels and can effect a lot of people.
Action packed right from the start, Logan pulls you in and keeps you engaged until the very end. So many questions answered in this one. Not only do we get the intense Mason Sharpe thriller we know and love, we also get the tender loving Mason. I laughed and cried so many times. This was so darn good. Wish I could give it 10 stars.

For someone just drifting around, it is amazing the situations Mason wind up involved in. This story includes a woman, an ex who happens to be FBI agent, Chinese operatives, a blue eyed killer and a murdered girl who Mason tried to save. He starts following leads, is threatened and for what reason? Fast paced, good read, I have read all the series and they just get better.

Buckle up! Mason Sharpe is pulled into high stakes government espionage situation that involves non stop action right from page 1. High speed car chases, hand to hand combat, guns a-blazing fire fights all propel this story to its climactic end. The romance was a peripheral aspect that didn’t really work for me but that was a minor hiccup to my enjoyment of the story.
I received a free copy from Booksprout. This is my unbiased review.
Full Force is full on entertainment from start to finish. Sharpe, our hero, rides an 18 wheeler through numerous potentially fatal encounters with Chinese spies and various home grown Agencies. The ultimate goal is to secure and protect a technological innovation that represents the ultimate in future warfare. Nothing, however, is quite what it seems and the reader is accelerated towards a possible finale on the high seas that threatens to redraw the global geopolitical landscape!
Very similar to other books in the series, with an extra bit of disbelief thrown in for good measure Chinese that can trace Mason and Evelyns history, by accessing online records, but can't trace either of their phones, or Evelyns laptop whilst working in a hotel It's the first in the series, where I have questioned if I'll bother with the next, so will give the next one a try, but it's similar, it will be the last
Mason Sharpe is a man of mystery and many talents one of which is being in the wrong place at the wrong time and getting swept up in the melee. The action never stops from the first page till the last complete with murder to attacks on his person to using his combat training and saving lives this book has it all and then some. Logan Ryles creativity goes above and beyond.
If you have been following the Mason Sharpe series, you are absolutely not going to want to miss this one. In DC, to see if he and Evelyn might have a future, Mason witnesses a murder. Had he been closer, he might of prevented it. Then they were after Sharpe. The plot thickens. Excellent page turning action.
As always, Mason Sharpe thrillers are just that, thrilling. Just not very realistic. It's amazing how often you can shoot so many people, yet so many people shooting at you, can't hit you. They must be Stormtroopers. But I've read every one of them. No accounting for taste I guess.
As a standalone, this is a fantastic book. Miles ahead of any other action thrillers. But within the full context of the Mason Sharpe series, it’s outstanding. Author Ryles manages to completely humanize Sharpe, making readers empathize with him, without falling into the typical tropes or traps. Excellent novel in every way.
Logan Ryles does it again. Caught my attention right at the beginning. This book had everything. Romance, action, espionage, touch of military, all wrapped up into one great story. Couldn't put it down. I've read some of his previous books and have enjoyed every single one of them. Looking forward to reading the next one on this series.
wrong guy It sometimes scares me how often the bad guys win in the end because law enforcement just isn´t up to par, so what I liked about this book was that by declaring Mason to be the enemy, they chose the wrong guy to mess with, because this one knows how to fight back and won´t back down.
Could not wait for the next book in series- 10. I was not disappointed. Great story line with twists and turns. It was a real page turner. Definitely worth reading!
I think this is the best book i’ve read in this series. It was dynamic, so much action. Mason Sharpe is THE MAN. He always finds a way out of any situation no matter how hard. And talk about his “improvised” medical skills, can’t beat them. Love him!
