Another extremely well written story in the series. I loved books one and two, gave both 5 stars.

Blue was such a sweetheart to Noelle in Redemption I was excited to read his story.

In this instalment we discover that Dom 'Blue' & Domme 'Mistress Red', are both switches.

I loved the story for the most part, but didn't like a couple of things Mistress Red made her sub's do. IMO there are other ways to get absolute submission without putting a submissive through act's he supposedly is opposed to. Even though, being fiction, the sub ending up loving it. There's also an intense scene towards the end, that I found over the top, on a personal level. Most will enjoy those scene's they just didn't sit right with me, lowering my rating from 5 to 4 stars.

Would I recommend this book, hell yes. Do I intend to read more work by the talented Ivory Quinn, hell yes!

I LOVE this book!!!

First, I am a regular Amazon customer with no connections to the writer, no ARC, and no book blog so my review is completely unbiased. I am just an avid reader. If you have read the other books in this series you will understand that Ms. Quinn is evolving and her writing style is growing. That said, this woman can write. I love that you can never predicted what her characters are going to do from one book to the next. She keeps you wanting more, and she delivers it every time and this book is no exception. She does an amazing job of bringing heat, sensuality, love, and sweetness with a touch of what's going to happen next in story.

Each one of these books in this Darkness Falls series was amazing!! I loved this one as well. This is Blue's story and we find out much more about this man. We see Noelle healing quite nicely from the trauma of the first two books. Blue, the man who has been helping her and slowly falling in love with her is bound and determined to win her over. She is part of the family that is the Manor, but fails to see that Blue really loves her and he's not about to lose her again.

"Noelle, will you shut up and listen to me!" He roared, startling her into silence. "You are mine. You've always been mine. I want us to date and move in together and maybe somewhere down the line get married and have kids. I love you. Not as a brother, or as a friend; I love you in the way that a man loves a woman who is his everything. Fuck it."

And I fell more in love with all of the characters in this book, even the secondary ones I found myself happy how things were working out for them.

This book has some twists and turns that made it exciting and that I honestly never saw coming, but they were perfect and made the story even better! I highly recommend this whole series! You will not be disappointed! Kudos to you Ms. Quinn!!

Let me start of by saying I love love the characters in this series.
Every Domme needs a Thomas or two. The scenes were hot! 5 stars

The plot was ok. I had a hard time finishing book 3 it just seemed bland. 2 stars

I would recommend this series because I really liked book 1 and loved book 2.

Wow! What a spiral of emotions!

This book, while still filled with Triggers for the normals out there, was brilliantly written. Love love love the story. So much of seeing the FMC grow into her Butterfly self and the MMC getting a chance to rectify his past.

Truly enjoyed this series.

Blue (Darkness Falls #3) by Ivory Quinn
4 stars!!

“Home isn’t always a building. Sometimes it’s a person or people. Sometimes there’s more sanctuary in someone familiar than there is in a house you grew up in. Let me be that for you, Blue...Let me be your sanctuary.”

It seems ages ago that I stumbled across Ivory Quinn’s first book Obsession. As much as that book destroyed me it was a brilliant book and one that started my Obsession with this series. When Master Blue was first introduced, I fell hard…I loved him and I couldn’t wait for his story, then I was told his story wasn’t planned (cue major freak out!!) Thank god we fans managed to persuade her otherwise.

Master Blue has always held a torch for Mistress Red/Noelle, from their very first meeting he fell hard, not easy for a Dom, especially when the object of your desires is also a Domme. How can two tops make a relationship work? Master Blue is adamant that it will work, Mistress Red not so much, but can Master Blue be convincing enough to make her see sense?

Noelle/Mistress Red’s life has been one whirlwind, with life throwing everything at her at once. Master Blue managed to piece her back together only having her recover and then find love elsewhere, he was devastated. He now has an opening, they have split and Master Blue is adamant that he will not let her walk away again. Will life finally align to make this a possibility or will their pasts come back to haunt them and make a relationship the furthest thing from either of their minds?

These two have a lot to overcome and this book is packed with twists and turns that you will never see coming. One thing for sure is that Ivory Quinn has either done extensive research or is actually in “the know” herself. The scenes surrounding the BDSM world, to me, are so life like and realistic, I personally have no experience whatsoever in this field, I have knowledge garnered from reading stories like this but I found myself entranced in the life and overtaken by the scenes. They were heartfelt, passionate and all-consuming.

“If you choose anyone else to be your reclamation, if you ask anyone else to have command over you, I’ll break her f**king face.”
…God help him, he’d nearly jizzed his trousers like a rookie.

We finally get to see Master Blue’s past life and it is not pretty. Seeing the person that he is in the present it was hard to believe what had happened in the past, but that is what made him the man he was today. He draws from his past experiences to help others, selfless to a fault but has he really got over his past? When life throws a curve ball he has a lot to deal with and with the help of Mistress Red, Cal, Storm and the team Master Blue is in the best place to fight his demons.

Ivory’s writing is growing with every book; you can see the leaps and bounds that she has made since Obsession. I was totally captivated with their story and did not want it to end. In fact, I still want more; to me their story is just beginning. Papa Bear was ever present as were the all the guys from Darkness Falls but we did not hear much from Jax…hmmm I hope it is his book that is next.

“I thought that perhaps just being in your orbit would be enough, but it’s not. You’re not just my sun; you’re my solar mass and my north star. You’re my gravity and my atmosphere. I can’t breathe without you and I’m tired of hiding it…I just wanted you to come home. To me.”

This is a great series and one that I have loved since the beginning. I can’t wait to see where Ivory is going to take this next.

Trust is a very tricky subject. A lot of stories have been written about trust – the breaking of it, the earning of it back and the realization of it. All in a hundred different ways. Almost all of them painful in one way or another – even when trust is realized, vindicated, it tends to bring pain as its light shines on all the times when it was broken. Trust is at the root of all human interaction – so to write a story all about the path to it is a hard and dangerous thing to do. One wrong move and you plunge your characters and readers off a cliff. But done well? Those are the stories that live forever.

Blue will live forever. Not only as a character, but this individual story will stand on it own within The Darkness Falls series as a fearless investigation into trust and how it affects and influences human nature.

Noelle continues to be one of the strongest female characters I’ve ever had the great pleasure to read. She is fearlessly insightful, not only into herself, but those around her. She is willing and able to claim that which she needs to continue growing and is unafraid to ask for what she wants and deserves. If Redemption saw her step into her own skin, Blue sees her own it. She is sure of herself in a way I think most people only dream of – even in the face of additional and completely unknown new challenges. Even if the face of losing the one she loves most.

Blue continues to be a force to be reckoned with. He gets hit with brick after brick in this new book and he just keeps going. He displays immense courage in this book as he embraces the true meaning of submission that is genuinely inspired by another human being instead of simply required. We get to watch him process his role with the people he loves most and it’s a hard roller coaster of a process, but he embraces it fully and with more true courage than a lot of real life people would ever be able to summon.

This book is not just about love or life or friendship or family. It’s not just about how we all choose to walk on this planet either with or without those things at our side. This book peels back the run of the mill definitions of human nature and relationships and then asks to go even deeper. To really examine motivations behind what we hold most dear, including our definitions of right and wrong and what we allow in our lives.

On top of all of that, Ivory Quinn has written a damn good story that is funny, heart wrenching, sweet, steamy and intelligent. The pacing is beautiful as we walk alongside Blue and his journey deeper and deeper within himself. He and Noelle are gorgeous as always – beautifully honest and yet so achingly tender and careful with each other. They dance an incredibly beautiful waltz with each other in this book that has you on the edge of your seat by book’s end.

Truth and trust go hand in hand and both are incredibly difficult to embrace once they’ve been shattered. But the one thing that is so often overlooked is that while it is incredibly difficult to piece back together those shattered pieces, it is possible to allow them to grow again from the seed of love. And often, it’s so much stronger when given from that foundation.

When inspired from within there is no greater or stronger gift than that of love, truth and trust. The Darkness Falls series is a gorgeous example of exactly that – the human journey at its most honest.

I am in love with Ivory's storytelling! I love the feel of this series... you aren't just reading it you are right there with them. Blue is my favorite! The story was edge of your seat exciting and sweet and touching and hot and steamy! How can you not love a book that has all that AND Master Blue? All Ivory's books have made me cry (no not a tear ran down my cheek as I read I mean all out sobbing ugly crying), but they also make me laugh/giggle, get angry and fall in love, this book was no exception. I loved getting to know Red and Blue better and learning what makes them tick. I am hooked on Ivory Quinn and will continue to read whatever she writes she's an AMAZING talent and I can not wait to see what she comes up with next!

Ah Master Blue! We finally learn what makes you tick and your real name. I really enjoyed this book and considering how much I didn’t enjoy the second book in this series, I was very relieved. This book picks up about a year after book 2 ends and we see what has transpired with Noelle. Blue re-enters the picture and we learn where he came from and get a glimpse at his journey into his Dom life. We also know that with Noelle unattached now, he is going to do whatever he can not to lose her again. There are most definitely some OMG moments not to mention some hot sex!! I give this book 4.5 STARS and 3 hands down the pants.

This book, just like the first two, rocked! I love the way Ms. Quinn writes and draws you into the story. Many series I read by the third book, the author has slacked off and I want to just be done, NOT the case here!! The 3rd book, in my opinion, is better than the first! And the first one was awesome!!!

I have been patiently waiting for this book to come out for awhile now, and I finally finished it. Ivory is such an amazing writer who brings her characters to life by giving them realistic qualities. Blue has been added to the top of the list of my favorite dirty talkers of all time. The words that come out of his mouth can turn any women into a quivering mess.

Not good

This was no where near as good as the first two! To be honest I didn't like it! And it's sad because I loved the first one and really liked the second!
